In the latest Fairy Tail 444 chapter, we see Zeref revealed to us as the Emperor of the Alvarez Empire leading over 700 guilds in the East continent to any battle with just one command. However, Fairy Tail 436 showed Zeref and Acnologia meet up as Zeref has made his choice to annihilate both Acnologia and the Humans, so has Zeref killed Acnologia?
Fairy Tail 436 focus’ largely on Zeref’s past, he tells us a story to how he studied magic, only to discover that a curse was placed on him giving him contradictory powers, all while trying to bring back his brother back, Natsu Dragneel! Zeref reveals that the form of Natsu is actually Zeref’s little brother body which he made using Etherias. Zeref and Acnologia meet while Acnologia stands there in his human form!
