Bleach 511 marks the death of Yamamoto, he’s just been cut in half by Juha Bach, we remember a moment with Shunsui while they were still little. Soul Society is overtaken by foot soldiers, they start to turn everything into dust when a large explosion behind Juha Bach occurs which scares the hell out of him, could it be Ichigo?!
Bleach 511 starts out as Shunsui comes into Yamamoto’s room without permission, he is still very young and asks about a picture of Yamamoto while he’s Bankai is on. Yamamoto then beats Shunsui for entering his room without permission. He asks what this picture means, he thinks that it may be some kind of mythical god of fire or something.
Yamamoto says that it is a monster that appeared in Soul Society a long time ago, it came when Soul Society was in a mess, it messed everything up even more, but it will never appear again. Shunsui asks what will happen is it appears once more. Yamamoto remembers this moment from his past.
We see Yamamoto’s body drop dead whilst he still stands. He tells Shunsui that if it does appear again then he won’t be coming back. Shunsui feels the reiatsu of Yamamoto fluctuate and drop, he notices that something has gone very wrong and he shouts Old Man! He’s distracted by this and the Quincy who’s facing Shunsui takes the opportunity to attack!
Juha Bach tells Yamamoto that he’s the so-called elder of the Shinigami, it’s pitiful seeing Yamamoto die in such a way. He tells Hashvald that they’re leaving, at this point, Yamamoto fights for Soul Society by holding the cape of Juha Bach, Juha Bach doesn’t accept this and cuts off the hands of Yamamoto!
Juha Bach says even in his death, he doesn’t have any intentions of letting him leave? Juha Bach then places his shoes on top of Yamamoto’s head. He says that Yamamoto was never able to follow things through, because of this he wasn’t considered as one of the 5 War Potentials, he also didn’t heal his left arm from the help of Orihime.
Juha Bach explains that Yamamoto didn’t want to depend on a human for help, even during the battle with Aizen, he was uncomfortable about relying on Ichigo Kurosaki to defeat Aizen. He doesn’t just try to shoulder Soul Society but also the rest of the Humans too. That is why Yamamoto lost, explains Juha. He calls Yamamoto weak.
He then explains that the former Yamamoto was different. When the Gotei 13 first began, they were all known as divisions but were actually a bunch of murderous thugs. Because of this they were all feared. Yamamoto was the demon within that group who controlled everything.
Yamamoto would do anything to take down any of his enemies, someone who doesn’t care less for the lives of his subordinates. But after the extermination of the Quincy’s everything changed, Yamamoto started to protect as there was some peace, with this there was justice and pride, this brought down Soul Society, says Juha Bach.
Juha Bach explains to Yamamoto that no matter what, Soul Society will be destroyed, The Gotei 13 died a thousand years ago along with the Quincy’s. At this point, Juha Back unleashes a barrage of explosions surrounding Yamamoto turning Yamamoto’s body into nothing but dust. Everyone notices the disappearance of Yamamoto’s Reiatsu.
Juha Bach tells Hashvald that it’s all over, plus they need to convey to all Stern Ritter that they’re going to turn everything in Soul Society into rubble. They all receive the message and perform the Advance, Soldat (Literally Meaning Soldiers).
Large counts of soldiers appear, someone says that they should not panic because they’re all small fry, at this point, he’s stabbed by one of them! He dies, at this point, a large number of Shinigami’s died, one after the other, Soul Society is literally coming to an end here.
Juha Bach mentions that this is the end, they are now leaving, he mentions that the main forces of Gotei 13 have now disappeared, now the Division 0! is going to come out, thus they should retreat and wait for them to come out! Out of nowhere, a large explosion above Juha Bach appears, it seems like a gate has appeared, Juha Bach seems scared as it could be Ichigo at this point! Bleach 511 ends here!
What an epic journey we’ve had with Yamamoto! From his introduction, he has had the strongest Fire Type Zanpakutou, no one else except Juha Bach will be able to use it! Plus the reaction on Juha Bach’s face, after the explosion is as though Ichigo could finally appear, or could it be someone else?! Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 512! It’s going to be another epic chapter!

That was an awesome chapter. The storyline is progressing like crazy, Squad 0 was already mentioned and given the situation they will need to eventually show up. Their entrance is going to be epic, I’m certain. Soul Society is in ruins but I doubt the remaining captains are down, main characters simply don’t die this way in manga, they also have secrets which are still to be revealed. As for the explosion, Ichigo’s arrival seems like the most plausible option at the moment. It’s also good to see the real Juha Bach being afraid. We already know 2 of the 5 Special War Potentials, I wonder who are the remaining three, I would say Urahara, Isshin and Yoruichi but you never know.

the 3 remaining war potentials by my reconing are those Captain level Shinigami / Characters who have yet to reach Bankai state or havent yet mastered their Bankai’s…… In my reconing Ichigo , Toshiro , As-yet Mystery person who killed Star Knight in Hueco Mundo,.. fit this theory…..

I believe the one who killed Kirge Opie was someone who was not included in the Quincy’s calculations. The 2 known SWP are Shinigami who are immune to bankai stealing, Kenpachi, who doesn’t have a bankai and is very powerful without it and Ichigo whose Bankai cannot be stolen for a reason still unkown to us. Toshiro doesn’t fit as he already got his Bankai stolen, I doubt they considered him as much of a threat. Yoruichi was never even shown using a Zanpakuou, let alone a Bankai but still, she’s a formidable fighter. Urahara’s ability to thoroughly analyze his opponent and their techniques as well as his prowess with Kidou and crazy inventions(like the portable gigai) are a sight to be feared by any opponent. I also picked Isshin because of his enormous power(he pretty much owned Aizen’s Shinigami form without using his Shikai) and the possibility of being immune to Bankai stealing for the same unkown reason as Ichigo.

Hmm those are all good guesses, and I’m pretty sure it would be lovely to be them but Kubo Tite could use a trump card here and pull anyone from Devision 0 as the 3 remaining SWP

I think the reason might be simple enough as to why they cant steal his bankai….. i got this from the Fake Juha bach vs yamato fight….. 1. The Bankai stealer has to have the ability to control the bankai’s power or in other words be at the same level or higher than the shinigami’s….. 2. Although it was played down by Juha Bach i also think that if that the Bankai hasnt been intel’d on / documentes in its fullest by the Stern Ritter’s they cant steal it……
following your explaination i agree Uruhara & Isshin are strong possibilities,… although not for Yoruichi…. im guessing the squad Zero badasses would be a class apart….. possibly Captain Commander level or more !!!! 😀

Toshiro…… although i admit i forgot that he got his bankai stolen…… but still even yamaji was a SWP but excluded by Juha Bach….. I said Toshiro bcuz 1. He has the strongest Ice Zanpaktou….. 2. He still hasnt mastered it just like Ichigo’s bankai which continue’s to evolve, Toshiro has those mana lifelines behind him whenever he activates bankai…. every time he uses any bankai ability one mana lifeline decreases,… when all mana lifelines are spent he reverts back to his shikai form….. Toshiro has said himself that once he masters his bankai those lifelines wont be there anymore, and he will be able to spam it………

btw its damn annoying that Kenpachi hasnt even activated his Shikai / Pre Bankai state …… all we got was a 2 handed sword strike while he fought # 8 Espada……. What kind of a beast will he be if he got to Bankai level!!! 😀

You missed out the main Special War Potential, Ichigo… Aizen could one, as Juha Bach wanted him… And yeah the fact that Squad 0 was mentioned… I’m like WOW! this is getting better and better…
Plus if it is Ichigo who appears, and not Yoruichi or someone else, then we can confirm that Kubo himself is missing out big plot points in the manga which are likely to be covered during the Anime, for example, if this is Ichigo who exploded in the sky through the portal, then How did he get out? Anime may explain thus it is expected to be damn long!

I doubt we’ll see it in anime only, I see two ways for Kubo to explain how Ichigo got there. First, a huge flashback. Second, just returning to HM in 512 to show how he did.
I really want the explosion to be Ichigo’s appearance, but squad zero is more likely 😦

It’s good if its not Ichigo. It would get too predictable then. If it’s the royal guards, I wonder if they have their own mini army of elite swordsmen. I don’t see how even the Royal Guards can stop Juha if they are just around 20 people or less.

I’d hate for there to be a flashback to like 10 minutes ago… it would be somewhat stupid if Kubo Tite showed the flashback, better to show someone like Yourichi appearing then Ichigo at this point… I’d like to see her fight with her Zanpakutou/Shikai and/or Bankai 😀

I’d like them to take this chance too. The way most severe injuries were censored up unitl now doesn’t fit with this arc. Also looking at the amount of deaths and blood they would have to censor most of the arc. It would be better to rise the age rating(if that’s possible) than cesnor the anime. It’s the last arc, goddamnit, let Bleach end in a big way.

At the end of the anime, Ichigo says “see you again”. They stopped the anime basically cause if they continued they’d have to show a filler arc which would be more than a year long. They never announced this but it’s so obvious. The new arc was just probably 10 chapters ahead of the anime, so if they started the anime, they’d have make another set of fillers eventually in a matter of 10 episodes. Plus, there was already a year long filler arc before the Fullbring arc. They were probably out of ideas also to make filler arcs THAT long. And with how the final arc is going, they will definitely animate it.
They will probably sensor a lot. Hiyori was actually cut into two by gin from the waist down. In the anime they just showed her getting stabbed. Hope they won’t censor much cause sometimes you are forced to think “Was that character that weak to be defeated from such a small attack?”

Wrong! Completely wrong. The anime wasn’t dropped, it wasn’t cancelled either, it was stopped due to the fact that the anime and manga got too close, there is no real evidence when it’s coming back but there are little hints to how episode 366 ended…

The Bleach animators can do wonders with their work, I personally think it’s better than most recent anime e.g. Naruto’s animation is terrible.. I’m sure it’s going to have some sick ass shit bloody everywhere type of thing..

This chapter was pretty awesome! I agree that it’s probably Ichigo, but there are some other characters I wouldn’t mind. At first I thought the Fire Captain was talking about the Soul King when the pic first appeared, but I guess it’s the main villain.
Next week major action should happen!

The painting which was shown portrayed Yamamoto himself in his earlier Bankai state. When he had gone bankai, instead of making things better it made it worse those many years back. I’m guessing that was the fight he had with Bach. So he told the young Shunsui that if that (his bankai) ever appeared again, he would never return again.

I just re read the part and I guess there’s some resemblance. I still think I’m leaning towards it being the villain though. It will help give the villain a bit more backstory and shock value

The back portion of the young Yamamoto’s hair is visible. Just look at the hair. In the 2nd page, where the painting is zoomed in, right next to that the young yamamoto’s back is zoomed in.
The enemy is a quincy. I am sure they don’t have powers that can control Fire or water or such things. They seem to be more scientific types. Like the fear-needles that As Nodt used or the jail that Kirge trapped Ichigo in or the guns that the old quincy who Kyoruku is fighting uses or like Lyodd and Ryodd who can change appearances. I think their abilities are to do with experiments and stuff. That would make so much sense. And given how they know almost everything about all the shinigami’s and devised a way to steal their bankai, I’d almost say with 90% belief that they cannot have abilities like Fire and water and stuff.

I kinda hope they get some better powers soon though. Otherwise it’s hard to picture how they can give Ichigo even a decent fight. As I think Ichigo could take down the Soul Society on his own (What can I say..I’m a big Ichigo fan)

And the sternritters are powerful. The hunting unit’s commander was kirge. He alone gave Ichigo a tough time.
Ichigo would definitely not be able to beat Juha Bach at his current level. And the soul king is a “thing”. It’s not a person. So I really doubt it would fight Ichigo who is actually just trying to save SS 😛

I really hope he comes back. At first I thought the quincies seemed really tough, but now I’m not so sure. Zaraki took down 3 of them easily enough and Byakuya can’t be that much weaker than Zaraki. I mean…getting beat by one of them isn’t that good. Of course I tend to disagree with a lot of outcomes through Bleach…
I wouldn’t say Kirge was giving Ichigo a hard time. Ichigo was completely mopping the floor with him with minimal effort. Sure, he was in bankai mode, but I wouldn’t say that he was exerting effort. It was kind of about the effort that Vegeta was using on Android 19 (Only helps if you know dbz of course) I think Ichigo could take this guy down. Juha Bach is a tough villain, but I’ve yet to see him act Espada level. Plus if the chips are down I have little doubt that Ichigo will hesitate to use his Final Getsuga form again. Even his Vasto Lorde form may be enough (Because I don’t think that we’ve seen the last of that one)
As for the Soul King. I’m pretty sure he’s an actual being. I think he’s someone who’s running SS behind the shadows. Most likely Ichigo’s evil older brother if it follows the shounen tropes. But either way he’s gonna be extremely intense!
Well, Ichigo’s helping SS, but he’s a lot more noble and since SS is extremely shady at best he won’t hesitate to oppose them. If they try to execute someone when he’s there, he’ll stop them. Only this time the Soul King will have to step in 🙂

The Blast is Probably Ichigo breaking out from the closed gate and Light Prison Simultaneously, or rather the as-yet Mysterious fellow who killed of the Star Knight in Hueco Mundo broke out Ichigo from the Light Prison,,,, and both are now Party crashin the Soul Society Massacre…….!!! Wonder if Ichigo will go berserk like Naruto did during the pain Invasion of his Town,,, Or rather he transforms into Hollow Ichigo (Like back In Hueco Mundo against Espada # 4 Ulquiorra) upon seeing so many Captains Dead / Critically wounded….. Now that would be EPICNESS!!!! Juha Bach gettin his arse woped before Div 0 showing up tryin to restrain Ichigo while Juha bach conveniently escapes during the confusion….. 😀

COME ON the mysterous swordman was GIMMJOW! its gotta be. None of the other espada that would help ichigo survived. I only say it has to be an espada because there no way its Ishida or any friend or urahara wouldnt have been like “oh shit…” Plus I belive the explosion it Ichigo Grimmjow and Ishida coming to stop juha. Hopfully Orihime is with them so she can save yamamoto.

Hmm you never know it could be that Shinigami who saved Rukia during one of the Hueco Mundo episodes, it could be him because he also seemed really powerful.. Hmm… I think Orihime and Chad are likely to just stay in Hueco Mundo with Nel, Urahara and the others… The mystery person could either help Urahara or fight him, or even go and help Ichigo…

That would certainly be epic, if Ichigo came out in his Hollow Ichigo (from the fight with Ulquiorra) then everything and everyone would be destroyed, he wouldn’t give a rats ass about Juha or the Shinigami’s he could turn Soul Society up side down, the damage he did to the pole like things above Hueco Mundo would be times by a hundred because theres lots of things close by in Soul Society so even more damage… nothing would exist at that point lol

ehrmm, anyways that is another great episode im soo excited bout the 0 division. I want to know how powerful they are, what they’re capable of and are they way much stronger than Yamamoto? And again, wew, who the hell is that guy who just broke out the sky and caught JB’s attention. I want it to be Aizen but i don’t see enough reason why he would want to meet JB after declining its proposal? To fight him? i don’t think so.. After being held for quiet some time he need to somehow regain his strength, he’s not like Ichigo.. Now there are 2 mystery guy that ill be waiting to be expose.. The one who killed Opie and that one from the sky. I hope next episode will reveal at least one of them, let it be the one who killed Opie first.

And again i must say what an epic chapter! Bach is really a sadist prick. Even after killing him and his body ancidently falling on his cape, he ruthlesly cut his arm off and game him a speech about his softnes. I personally dont think Yama got too soft but rather he didnt want to involve humans coz he felt guilty for the massacre that occured 200 years ago then what Bach said that he wouldnt want to depend on them. He did respect Ichigo so far to give him back his powers.
After this there is only the question who will be the next Captain-Commander? Or rather who will survive this invasion to take the role. By the looks of it not many will pull it through. This really is Gotei 13s complete downfall.
I bet Kubo will shift to Hueco Mondo now. If its Ichigo who caused the explosion, we wont but i just feel we need to see whats happening there without a flashback.

Hmm I think Yamamoto was still alive that his hand went to grab the cape because he still had the spirit to fight, and yeah thats a good question, I presume the Soul King may have to show up or something to choose..
The fact that there are now two unknowns, the Kirge Killer and Sky Explosion, right now means that Kubo could move on to either of those two or go to the others fights like Toshiro’s, Shunsui’s or Ukitate’s fight… Or even Unohaha could show up!

I dont know what any of them could possibly do in this situation. They cant use Bankai and almost all divisions got annihilated. Even if Unohana shows up she wouldnt be able to do much with her Shikai. Even Ichigo himself does not stand a chance atm. I am gonna drop a bomb and say he will be defeated as well. Maybe even Haschwald could defeat him before he even makes it to the big boss. The time gap for the battle could probably hinder Bachs plan to retreat and wait for the Royal Guard. They would drop in in while they are still there,
About the grabbing thing, Bach said that “even in death you wont let me leave” which might confirm my viewpoint of things on this. 😛

I agree that Ichigo isn’t strong enough to beat Bach now. I am really hoping he would learn some new technique. Getsuga Tenshou is good. But everyone knows about it and how powerful it is. He needs a new card to play and for that he needs a new move. I was so excited when he had Mugetsu for the final getsuga tensho form. I hope he can use that again without losing his powers. That’d be kickass. Something like, he can use it only a few times or something till he gets too exhausted or something. That’d add a thrill factor to it also. Like how Naruto can’t keep using Rasengan all the time.

Completely agree, Ichigo definetely needs something new but i doubt it will be FGT again. Even if he didnt lose his powers, it still would be too predictable. And tbh from the very start GT is the only technique he really learned. Even Naruto has shadow closes besides Rasengan. lol

I think involvement from Ichigo would nullify any plot potential. It’d be too generic. It wouldn’t be a bad idea if he was involved at all, maybe take out some people just out of complete frustration. It also wouldn’t surprise me in any way that if Ichigo is behind Division 0 either somehow. Either way, anything can happen. Personally, I’d like to see Zaraki get his ass back in shape and kick his sword around so he can achieve his Bankai ability.
But, damn. Everything is going down so quick…

This is probably like the 1st phase of the arc. The arc will go for another few years. I’m sure after this phase there will be a brief break in the fighting and some serious story progression explanation since Kubo wants to explain and clarify alot of things.

I guess Kubo has successfully obtained a Shock Value at the fact that Soul Society is in crumbles in such a short time! Zaraki, hmm he could be back later to fight Hashvald, but Bankai is a little far fetched, Zaraki is better without a Bankai… So he could show Juha and Hashvald that Zaraki is truly a great War Potential..
Agree that Ichigo has nothing to do with the story and it’s better if he wasn’t involved in much of it because we need to find out what happened to the Captain’s past, their shikai, bankai etc…

I didn’t like how he died honestly that old man always was way smart for him not to sense that it was a twin makes me think why didn’t aizen do that. Also disappointed about Kenny he murderd 3 strong Quincy with ease just to be easily defeated and we really don’t know how especially since his eye patch was still on coulda been more drawn out. I honestly just recently got into bleach manga but it feels like aizen ws the peak and feels like this is different writers just trying to keep it rolling I mean i like it still going with a deeper story but after aizen felt forced still enjoyed squad zero food stage
