Recently, we saw the end of the battle between Madara vs Guy in the latest Naruto Shippuden 421, on top of this we saw a number of other extra bits where Hagoromo met with Sasuke and Naruto in their own consciousness and gave both of them power. In turn, this allowed for Naruto to save Guy and allow for a whole new battle to begin: Naruto and Sasuke vs Madara Uchiha!
Naruto Shippuden 420 (blaze up) see’s the continuation of Madara vs Guy, as Guy releases his full potential with his Evening Elephant crushing all moves and defenses Madara has to offer, all while Madara not quite fighting back. At the same time, Naruto wakes up to an stranged named Hagoromo Otsutsuki revealing to him that he is his son’s, Ashura, incarnation.
Boruto: Naruto the Movie quickly approaches it’s premier in Japanese theater, while opening up to new characters, new missions and new stories. We also preview the enemies that will go up against Naruto, Boruto and the rest of the village. Momoshiki and Kinoshiki are members of the Otsutsuki clan, like Kaguya and Hagoromo, who aim to steal Kurama away from Naruto.
Masashi Kishimoto could soon be retiring from being a mangaka as news revealed in a magazine showing that after the latest Naruto movie, Boruto: Naruto the Movie, has aired, Masashi Kishimoto “won’t draw anything further”. Kishimoto also mentions that for the first time for a movie, he has written the entire script by himself, designed the characters and refined the story even further.
Naruto Shippuden 418 see’s the beginning of a battle whereby Might Guy unleashes his Seventh Gate of Shock and critically attacks Madara, however as he’s not down yet, we’ll see Guy’s Eight Gate of Death soon. We also peak into his past with his father and how he overcame being unable to infuse chakra. Kabuto appears as he begins helping Sasuke after realizing who he truly is.
Naruto Gaiden 10 comes to a close as we confirm that Sakura is actually the mother of Sarada while Karin is in fact the person who delivered Sarada when Sakura was in their hideout. While Sarada might not know this, she understands that it’s feelings and connections that connect them together, and what makes who they are.
The Naruto Gaiden manga ends next week, it’s been revealed in this week’s Shonen Jump magazine that the manga (Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring) will end in next issue on the 6th of July, giving a total of 10 Naruto Gaiden Chapters. On top of this, the final chapter will also include a center colour page.
Naruto Shippuden 417 focuses on the past between Obito and Kakashi, as they finish their mission and Kakashi learns how to behave during missions. On top of which Obito saves Naruto by giving him some of his Tailed Beast chakra, while Guy appears and saves Kakashi from an attack from Madara.
Naruto Gaiden 9 builds upon the trust placed on Sarada that her trust and love for Sakura will flourish even if she’s not her mother, Sarada goes on to fight kicking all kinds of Shin ass. On top of which Shin clones go ahead and stab the original Shin in order to get rid of him whilst revealing the sheer number of Shin’s available in that place.
The official Boruto: Naruto the Movie began streaming the full trailer for the movie revealing the enemy named Momoshiko. Boruto and his new team mates, Sarada (who shows her Sharingan) and Mitsuki as part of a three-man cell with Sasuke Uchiha being their teacher. The new enemy, Momoshiki, is also revealed who launches a surprise attack on the Hidden Leaf village.
