The Naruto Gaiden manga ends next week, it’s been revealed in this week’s Shonen Jump magazine that the manga (Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring) will end in next issue on the 6th of July, giving a total of 10 Naruto Gaiden Chapters. On top of this, the final chapter will also include a center colour page.
For all the collectors out there, a compiled volume of this series will also be made and shipped on the 4th of August of this year. Originally, Kishimoto released the first chapter on the 27th of April, now that the 9th chapter has been released, we’ll have our final 10th in next week’s Jump magazine.
So what are your initial thoughts on this? We’ve had this spinoff series for only a while, but it’s something that I’d want to continue. Would you also want it to continue?

Nope this is fine just the way it is. Start the real series already.

You think he’s going to begin another canon set of story for the kids of Naruto series? I think by having a spin off, he can tell the kids story without doing any real canon work. If you know what I mean.

I honestly think its kinda stupid to end Gaiden, it has a good plot but so many unanswered questions, who knows all could be answered in chapter 10.

I think the story line is to focus on the relationship between Sarada, Sasuke and Sakura. Overall its revealed that Sakura is not her biological parent which I guess can be further questioned in future spin off of even actual canon manga series.
