I’m here with another sports anime, after watching Kuroku’s Basket, Haikyuu and many others, I’ve seemed to become hooked on sports-based anime. I’ve only just began Baby Steps, but it seems that it has the spark which these other popular sports animes have. We follow a straight A student called Eiichiro Maruo who joins the tennis club to be more active.
I’ve recently been watching a lot of new anime, one of which is World Trigger which follows the journey of Osamu Mikumo and Yuuma Kuga where they meet for the first time in their school. The story introduces when a portal is opened from another world where invaders in the form of weird robots begin to attack Mikado City, a place where Mikumo lives.
Haikyu!! is another fantastic anime, this time based on volleyball whereby we follow Shoyo Hinata and his love for the game. Hinata creates a middle school volleyball team, unfortunately they’re teamed up against the “King of the Court” named Tobio Kageyama, and lose. Hinata vows to defeat Kageyama, however after entering high school, he finds him there!
