Kodakawa began streaming a promotional video for the Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World anime today. Together with this, a stage event at the “MF Bunko J Summer School Festival 2017” we’re revealed by author Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrator Shinichirou Otsuka that the anime/light novel will be getting a whole new anime episode in the form of an OVA.

In the below video, Subaru mentions that he cannot deal with it anymore, he’s at his limit and is having a problem. Emilia thinks that he’s having a problem due to his curse. But the video changes direction with Subaru along with Rem and Ram entering a kitchen and making some food. Only to reveal that when Emilia walks in, we find that they’re making an OVA!

The official anime website will reveal more details about the story and release date another time, but for now WHITE FOX is returning to animate the OVA alongside cast members such as Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru, Rie Takahashi as Emilia, and Inori Minase as Rem.

I personally loved the anime and can’t wait for this, it was probably one of my favourites at the time, and seeing that there’s an OVA coming, I can’t wait!
