Naruto 683 explores the revival of Obito once more as he wishes to help bring back Sasuke from the deserted world, while Hagoromo shows up to talk to the 4 Hokage’s who want to aid in defeating Kaguya. We see Sakura finally come into use as her power will aid in transporting Obito and Sasuke back and forth from the planet he’s in, while Kaguya tries to trap Naruto in the current. 

Naruto 683 begins as Naruto tries to hold the dimension open so he doesn’t lose Sasuke, however it closes and thus Zetsu mentions that now that he’s gone they’ll start by taking all of his chakra. Kaguya tries to grab Naruto however he escapes from her hand. She opens up a large dimension for herself and goes inside, to which she then begins her attack by using the area around Naruto to make him lose control, as well as change the nature of the surrounding area.

Naruto’s clone feels that he cannot sense Sasuke, and that his real body is in this world, while Obito wakes up. He is told that he was revived, to which he then asks if Madara was defeated. It’s mentioned that he is however it’s changed once more.

Naruto wishes to explain everything to them. Obito realises that they haven’t taken care of the enemy have they. In that case they can go there quickly. Sakura mentions that she doesn’t know if shes a burden or of any actual use, but she doesn’t want to do anything that will affect them badly, she wants to help especially if it means them to die, she wants to prevent it.

We notice Minato go ahead to meet the other Hokage’s to which they’re looking around to which they find half of Madara’s body. They notice that the Infinite Tsukuyomi has been activated. On top of which Minato tries to free people by cutting the branch however another tree branch grew and thus it reattached.

Tobirama mentions that why don’t they just use the Edo Tensei on the lower half of his body for him to come back, however they don’t seem to have any humans to sacrifice. Hashirama touches Madara to which he’s emotional at the same time, flames begin to come out to which Hagoromo pops out.

He arrives and calls forth Hashirama. He introduces himself as Hagoromo, the creator of Ninshuu, also known as the Sage of the Six Paths. Sasuke keeps on walking in this desert as he sweats, unable to do anything.

Naruto, Obito, Kakashi and Sakura run towards the action whereby there is lots of action going on. Naruto falls into a trap whereby it all for Kaguya comes out. Sakura asks how she’s coming out to which Obito notices that it must be some kind of space-time manipulation.

Naruto is acting that he’s trapped but in fact he’s not and is just waiting for a chance to push her back with an attack. Obito notices that Sasuke is probably in another dimension and thus he could possibly use his ability to get himself there and back to get Sasuke. He could try synchronize his Kamui with hers to which transport himself to Sasuke. Although it’s not guaranteed to actually go there.

Obito mentions that doing so will require a lot of chakra due to the fact that it’s not his own dimension. If he runs out of chakra, he’ll be in trouble. Sakura then mentions that she could use her Hyakugou chakra to help him transport. Obito asks for both Naruto clone and Sakura to come with him. He mentions that it’s totally random and he’s unsure if he’s he’ll get lucky and find Sasuke.

Naruto thanks Obito for all his help to which he tells Naruto to keep his eyes on the enemy, while Naruto tells him that he no longer has a mask. Obito mentions that he’s a friends of Kakashi, subordinate of Minato and a Uchiha, and he’s had the same dream as him.He just wants to walk in front of Naruto and allow him to die. Naruto 683 ends here.

A crazy chapter, a lot of mini things have happened to setup for the next attack Obito will have. Hopefully they’ll get through to Sasuke’s dimension and somehow get him back just as they require. On top of which I can’t wait for next week’s Naruto 684, when we continue with the attack leaded by Obito.
