Bleach 574 continues on the battle between Zaraki and Gremmy as both of them try to attack each other but it seems that they’re both reached their level of opponents. Gremmy’s Imagination seems to be powerful in which Zaraki is actually having some fun punches through rocks and hitting steel poles, as well as having Yachiru behind her as she’s unable to move.
Bleach 574 begins as members of the Zaraki’s squad see that a massive fortress has just appeared out of nowhere. They also detect a reiatsu in which indicates Zaraki’s arrival. They all begin to cheer for him to win. Zaraki hears the noise to which Gremmy mentions that he doesn’t mind. In their minds the battle has already been decided, such is freedom of imagination.
Zaraki notices that he’s healed himself while Gremmy mentions that its a possibility, he simply imagine the wounds inflicted on him already healed, all he did was imagine. Some of the Shinigami’s raise a point in which they mention if Zaraki was already fighting on the fortress thing, that means that he had already appeared there.
Then why didn’t any of them notice his reiatsu before the fortress looking thing appeared. Gremmy begins to predict what Zaraki may be thinking, something on the lines of his abilities being crap, people like him never understand the extent of his power until it’s too late. Gremmy mentions for him to come at him with all his might, he will not utter any taunts, like he’ll use only one finger against him.
Because the truth is he will not use one finger, he will only use his imagination, he shall gut him head to navel. Gremmy imagines some lava to which he tries to go for Zaraki. Zaraki smiles calling him a head scratcher since he doesn’t understand his ability he doesn’t hate him.
Zaraki unleashes his power on the cloud of lava and then tells Yachiru to move, Gremmy then tells him that she can’t because his power has turned all her bones into cookies, Zaraki doesn’t seem to know what these are, perhaps hard candy. Zaraki mentions that in other words they’ve become frail like tea cakes.
Zaraki calls Gremmy coy and telling him that it’s annoying. As Zaraki jumps in the air to attack, Zaraki is trapped in a cube of water. Gremmy tells him the space he jumped into was filled with water. He then opens up a crevice and puts him down there and closes the ground.
Gremmy believe that trapping him won’t do anything to him, he then envelops him in water and slowly taking away his breath. Gremmy believes that Zaraki will stay in that trap for a few hours. However just seconds later Zaraki blows out while a rock is going for him. He makes the rocks disappear and Zaraki appears just behind it.
White a smile he attacks with all his might while he has Yachiru on his left arm. Zaraki mentions that he restrained him for a bit and it also seems that Yachiru’s ones are back to normal. Zaraki mentions that Gremmy has got his panties in such a bunch that he’s worrying about him, plus he can’t even give Yachiru a second thought. Bleach 574 ends here.
It seems that Gremmy is slowly losing control even if his powers are spectacular, Zaraki is just way too strong for him to do anything about. However I’m sure Gremmy will have prepared more for Zaraki to play with and destroy. Nevertheless I can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 575, when we continue on with the awesome battle.

Haha that may be true but I see a smile from Gremmy that I think won’t disappoint, it’s too early to say whats what since Gremmy promises to kick gut him.

I knew gremmy’s imagination would and can do anytthing but why doesn’t he just imagine zaraki bing dead if he’s strong enough because gremmy’s powers seem like that of naruto-sage of the six paths banbutsu sozo were he’s imagination came to life and creayted things he should imagine another zaraki or yamamoto fighting the real zaraki….that would be awesome

Hmm interesting, what if this Zaraki is a fake, I’m still clinging on to this idea that he is. Since the other shinigami’s didn’t notice him coming it could possible still be.

hmmm! for some reason I thot Zaraki was unstoppable and that he will only kill this dude with only his spiritual pressure. but it ddnt go as I thot. then it mins his opponent is realy strong. or may be Zaraki hasn’t used his aweken power yet and rite now his is just using the powers he had b4 fighting unohano.
anyway I like this battle bcos it ddnt immediately exposes zaraki’s power, and it is dragging longer to make us enjoy the New Zaraki. with that being said. this gremmy is something else, I wonder what is the limit if his imagination, plus I like his attitude, teasing Zaraki like that makes this fight even more enjoyable. the question is how strong has Zaraki become and how is he goin to defeat some1 who heales himself with no effort at all.
lastly why the other shinigamis ddnt sense his spiritual pressure before Gremmy made that thing appear. does this min that his has finally learned to control his spiritual pressure.

Most likely yes. Before his Reiatsu would be monstrous. But now he can control it like a powerful captain should. Plus Gremmy does seem to enjoy battling Zaraki. Cause he can imagine new ways of trying to Injure zaraki. But yes sense he wasn’t paying any attention to yachiru, her bones became normal. So most likely that Kensei and Rojuro are alive because he is not thinking about them.

This is a battle of imagination, the thing is Zaraki has always believed in his power and he imaginings himself as the strongest so it hard for Grememy to beat him. But Tite is playing the same game on us. Shinigami saying why they didn’t notice Zaraki in the first place?!!!

Because when Zaraki usually shows up in battle his Reiatsu is released all over the place. But now he’s not. Or he not even showing his true strength.

I think he does. I mean if every single Captain level Shinigami didn’t control the release of their Reiatsu than all of their division members would did man. Remember isshin said Captian Level Shinigami condense their Reiatsu in their sealed Zanpakuto into regular swords . Otherwise they would be carrying skyscrapers for swords. Same for the Quincy as well. Except it’s their level of Reyioku and how much Reishi they can absorb. Plus remember Zarakis Reiatsu feels like someone just stabbed you. Retsus Reiatsu had the exact same affect on Zaraki during their battle. He felt like she stabbed him. And she really did, but with her Reiatsu.

Yes i guess so, but i believe zaraki will defeat guremi without bankai or even shikai, this true how powerful zaraki now. Well i believe now zaraki not using his shikai yet!! She still having fun with guremi, 😀

Well he probably will use his Shikai. But definitely not his Bankai. Glad Yachiru is okay now. Her bones are back too normal!

yes, do u remember wat made it possible for ichigo to obtain bankai in 3 days?, it was bcos his spiritual pressure was on the same level. with Zaraki, and that made him to unconsciously reach manifestation of his zan. so zaraki has been in that level of manifestation for years, so reaching bankai is a child’s play for him.
ppl with high level reiatsu, reaching bankai is like their second nature, example captain histugaya, urahara and ichigo. and all those ppl pale in reiatsu compare to Zaraki. so yeah I’m 100% sure Zaraki has an bankai.

Actually just because you learn Bankai fast does not mean you master it. I’m sure Kisuke had to train hard to master his Bankai. Plus Toshiro had to keep training to master his Bankai. It’s only in this arc that he finally mastered it. Rukia needs to train more to master. Renji needed to as well. Plus I actually consider Toshiro weaker than Kisuke and Zaraki. And Zarakis current power is around Kisuke and Yoruichi’s level. But his full potential reaches higher than Retsu, Yamamoto and the Royal Guard.

And I agree! 😉 I’m sure he does. But I think this battle might show how an immensely powerful Shinigami. Like if a Royal Guard member fights. This is how they would fight. Just using there power and sealed Zanpakuto.

It does seem that kenpachi has mre control over his spiritual pressure that even the other shinigami couldnt sense him..the interestng part wuld be when he says his zanpaktöu’s name 😀

after reading this chapter, i dont think kensei and rojuro are dead it looks like gremmy has to concentrate on something specific and that imagination could break from losing it, just like when yachiru bones are no longer cookies, he was too busy focusing on kenpachi

hmmm I think this isnt the real zaraki cause his zanbakuto looks the same…so if he finally learned his zanpakutos name its form must have changed

It’s kinda ironic that Gremmy (a Quincy that uses “thoughts” ) is fighting against Capt. Zaraki (a Shinigami that barely “thinks”)

Actually that’s a good point! He really doesn’t like using strategy while fighting. But he proved he can when he defeated Kaname. I think he was confused that Gremmy turned Yachiru bones into cookies. But yes I like this fight. I did see coming that Gremmy would manipulate the environment with the earth, lava, and giant cube of water. I also like that his power is not absolute. Really want to see his Spirit Weapon though. Cause some Quincy have their Spirit Weapons already released. Like Jugrams Beautiful European Long Sword, BG9s Tendrils and armor, Bazz-Bs Black Gloves, and maybe the fancy gauntlets that Askin wears on his forearms are his spirit weapon too.

lol it’s kinda funny when u think of the fact that, from the beginning until juda Bach appeared, we were made to believe that quicies only use bows and arrows. I remember when ichigo was in a duel for the 1st with uryu and uryu was busy explaining about the great war that happened in the past between soul reaper and the quicies then we saw the flashback of the war. in that flashback all the quicies were using bows and arrows.
but these quicies of today don’t have arrows, they use spirit weapons. Wat happened to they. something doesn’t add up

I guess it’s really true that Ishida and his family were kept in the dark about the whole thing and how the Quincy’s have all now evolved and are now much more powerful.

Well if that’s true how the he’ll did Uryu know how to get to the Shadow Region? Or let Jugram take him to the dimension? Plus Quilge said Soken Ishida that he denied the Quincy studies and evolution. Aka creating Vollständig and leaving Letzt Stil to the true protectors of Humans against Hollow. And creating modern spirit weapons a pose to Bows. The Vandereich still use Arrows. Just not bows. I can also see that the Vandereich use a very different form of Quincy Spells, or Ginto. Human Quincy store they’re Reyioku into capsules and use cool spells. While Vandereich create Roman Numerals from there hands and release bad ass spells from Reishi. The only thing the human Quincy and Vandereich have in common is Blut, Hirenkyaku, and absorbing Reishi. Plus Yhawch and Jugram knew that Ichigos and Uryus Mothers died 9 years ago. And the Quincy Massacre did have Human Bow using Quincy. But I can be sure Yhawch let the Shinigami kill them because they would not join the Empire for revenge and more blood shed. Human Quincy are like modern day Shinigami. They protect Humans from Hollows at all times. Even working together for like 800 years?? Until for some reason the Shinigami didn’t want to let the Quincy hold off the Hollows while the Shinigami showed up to finish them off. And Modern day Quincy are like the past Shinigami. Blood thirsty and evil. Not caring if they’re own Shinigami or human lives were killed. According to Yhawch. It’s so sad when I saw Masaki glad that Isshin was a nice Shinigami and not afraid of him. I bet most of the Shinigami were like Aizen 1000 year younger Yamamoto ,and Kenpachi Yachiru 1000 years ago. Not caring about anyone but themselves and power. I bet the Soul king ordered the Quincy Massacre 200 years ago. I can also bet that the current Shinigami that were there killing Quincy was Yamamoto, Shunsui, Joshiro, Retsu, 10th Kenpachi, Shinji, Yoruichi, Tessai, Kuhaku, Genrei, Kirio, and maybe the rest of the Visord.

i disagree, remember that quincies cannot stand hollows as evidenced by how captains bankai teturned to them after being “hollowfied” and the reason for their massacre was because they did not perform a konso and purify hollows rather they destroyed a lot of hollows “souls” resultin an imbalance in the spirit world,and we all know abt e SS and balance,i think it was the central 46 that made the decision to exterminate he quincies, some like the vandereich escaped the purge while others like ryuken wer allowed to live as long as they did not interfere,

Actually the Vandereich stayed in the Shadow Region for 1000 years. They saw everything the Shinigami saw. They haven’t said of they were in the Quincy Massacre 1000 years ago, but I doubt they were. And the Shinigami did not know of any Quincy surviving like the Ishida and Kurosaki families. Isshin was surprised that Masaki was a Quincy. Even Aizen didn’t know that some Quincy surivied. And actually Yhawch gained his powers back 9 years ago when he stole all of the mixed blood Quincy. A d yes Quincy can’t hollofiy like Shinigami and purify thdm. But of you look in their history, the human Quincy made a deal with the Shinigami to real with Hollows. Sense Human Quincy live in the world of the Living like humans and more numerous than the Shinigami, they could hold off the Hollows while the Shinigami came and purified them. But the Shinigami didn’t listen and had them killed. And Oetsu of the Royal Guard said to Ichigo that his zanpakuto spirit was Yhawch, the enemy of the soul society 1000 years ago, not 200 when the Quincy Massacre happened, 1000 years ago, when the first Gotei 13 Captains killed Nearly all of Yhawchs allies. They have been slowly gaining power from the Shadow Region they created with Reishi from the Sereiatei. They saw everything that happened in the Soul society For 1000 years. Even saw what Aizen was planning and the battle they had when they switched Karakura town with the Sereiatei. And who’s to say the Vandereich don’t have Intel of the World of The Living? Shinigami do. With Hell Butterflies and Gigai. And opening Senkaimons. So we have seen the Vandereich use Shadow Reishi Teleportaion. So I bet they can gain information on the world of the Living. Bet they saw the human Quincy get massacred because they are most likely not part of Yhawchs Empire. But sense The Vandereich is fighting the Shinigami now they will recruit human Quincy like Uryu. And how they give Arrancar Spirit Weapons we will Find out. People just assume the Vandereich were part of the massacre. Shutara said the Quincy of the Vandereich are more evil than Aizen. And we know how evil he is. Maybe letting the human Quincy die 200 years ago is just one of the many evil things they have done and will do.

a lot of things u say mek sense but if the vandereich wer in the shadow region all along,wh didnt they intervene in the massacre,and also why didnt the shiningami knw abt the vandereich well at least guys like toshiro n othr young guys, why is it they yamamoto cld nt kill this yhwach guy,n y didnt try n hunt them down coz isshin sed he heard abt yhwach bt only as an unconfirmed legend, also id like to know exactly at e vandereich were up to all along,wer they waiting for something and if they cld see reaaly wat was happening why didnt they attack immediately after aizens defeat when the seireite was still in disarray

Because the Kaiser Song explains it’s all. The song said in 900 years he would gain his heart, 90 years his intelligence, and 9 years his powers. So during the winter war against Aizen the Vandereich could not attack without they’re king because it wasn’t 9 years yet when he stole the have Quincys powers. And Isshin didn’t know until Masaki died. So that shows they were in the Shadow Region for so long. And I just explained why I believe the Vandereich let the Massacre happen. I mean fighting Shinigami and human Quincy would most likely be overwhelming for the Vandereich. I’m sure Soken and Masakis parents told Ryuken, Masaki, and the Half Quincy about the Vandereich. But dude think about the Vandereich are Prue evil. Why would they help Quincy that doesn’t want war and blood shed?
