Bleach is a fantastic anime and manga, and there are literally a ton of different moments which we would all consider to be the best of the best. However I’ve brought together 10 great moments in Bleach’s anime series which I hope you’ll agree with when it comes to being the greatest Bleach moments. This is not a countdown of the best ones, in fact it’s just a compilation of the best moments. [Drunk Bleach Characters: RedPig31]
Ichigo versus Grimmjow: Their fight blew everyone away, the intensity and awesomeness of the overall battle was great and I’m sure you’ll agree that it had to be one of the best fights and moments within Bleach. After Grimmjow saw Ichigo’s abilities, he wanted to see how strong he really was, he even involved Orihime which only pushed Ichigo to become even more stronger. We didn’t see the death of Grimmjow which could only mean one thing. [Image: Tremblax and Akira-12]
Ichigo versus Aizen: The battle between Ichigo and Aizen was spectacular, the battle scene was no longer there after what Ichigo and Aizen did to their surroundings. Ichigo’s tremendous strength and force was nothing short of amazing, it proved to be something that even Aizen couldn’t comprehend. Even after trying to see how Ichigo’s increased his power, he could only mention that he’s only surpassed him for a moment. In sense it seems to be true as after the battle was over, Ichigo unfortunately lost all of his Shinigami power, he learnt from Aizen that people like him will go through a lot of trouble for a small thing. After unleashing and showing Aizen his Final Getsuga Tensho, he was unable to counter attack, Urahara had sealed his fate after imprisoning him. [Image: Tremblax]
Ichigo’s Hollow Transformation and Fight Against Ulquiorra: Ichigo with his Hollow Mask could not have been compared with Ulquiorra due to his Segunda Etapa. He keeps on trying to fight but is quickly killed, his heart is shot by a close range cero right to his chest making a circular hole which see’s nothing but darkness. After Orihime’s struggle and panic, Ichigo hears and let’s go, he quickly enters his Hollow Transformed State which has only been seen once. Ulquiorra is surprised and tries to fight it, unfortunately he also notices how at power a human is when it’s transformed into a Hollow. He admits defeat and dies peacefully. Ichigo meets his Inner Hollow (Hollow Ichigo): During Ichigo and Zaraki’s battle, we saw another great fight between those, however this was the first time Ichigo met Zangetsu as well as his Inner Hollow, Hollow Ichigo is what we call him, he is truly opposite of Ichigo. He is pale and has white skin as seen in the image. We saw Ichigo go up against Hollow Ichigo, it was Ichigo’s turn to gain back his broken sword and rebuild it so he could fight Zaraki, he had to plead them in order to obtain their power as well as their help to defeat Zaraki, we he was able to, with a number of different injuries to both parties of course. Vizards Entrance to Aizen’s War: The Vizards are awesome, they consist of awesome characters such as Shinji and Kensei. Although they were once banned, they’re back in Soul Society to take back their seats. I love them, they were epic, and their entrance to Aizen’s war was awesome, it was epic to see that they’re going to fight finally, especially with their full power including their awesome Hollow Masks. Aizen against Urahara, Isshin and Yoruichi: This moment was definitely a shocker, the fact that all three of them came together to fight against a common foe showed that what Aizen was doing was definitely something that was troublesome. We saw Urahara, Yoruichi and Isshin fight against Aizen in sync which showed that they had previously seen each other fight, or that they are very skilled and are able to fight in such consistency that it pushed Aizen back! Which they were able to do until Aizen came back with force. It was an awesome spectacle to see them fight against Aizen with a serious face. They are truly amazing. [Image: MinatoSama207]
Ichigo Obtains Bankai and Battles Byakuya: Ichigo was finally able to show how awesome his Bankai looks like, we even got to see Byakuya’s amazing Bankai during this fight, he wasn’t even able to comprehend how Ichigo’s small Sword can be his Bankai until he fought it. We saw their awesome battle and thus it had to be one of the top ten moments! I bet you’ll agree too. [Image: Ruymond]
Ichigo Regains his Shinigami Powers: Although many fans left Bleach before the Fullbring arc, they missed out on a lot of awesome goodness from Ichigo as well as what we can describe as Ichigo’s different powers. He’s gone from Shinigami to Hollow powers to now Fullbring. After losing it, he was struck by Rukia from behind, this in turn restoring his Shinigami powers, from this point on, he went crazy and tried to take out Ginjo as well as the others who hurt his friends and family. He was lied to and made him train as hard as he could in turn, he’s be able to obtain this Fullbring which only got stolen by Ginjo. After he regained his Shinigami power, he suddenly his ability to fight which we saw when he killed Ginjo with his own strength. He’s now gone to a better place. [Image: Amy-corE]
Ichigo’s New Bankai and New Look: During the Fullbring Arc, there were a lot of new surprised, ones which made me excited! I looked upon a brand new and awesome Ichigo which finally had a new Bankai look, it was one which had also integrated his Fullbring powers as well as some other awesome improvements. I thought it was awesome, this is why he’s second Bankai look had to be in the top 10 greatest moments. [Image: miiChaneko]
Gin’s Death and Rangiku’s Emotions: After Gin’s attempt at stopping Aizen, we knew that it was truly too late, we knew something important was coming, even Aizen didn’t see his attack. He went down with just one hit and it was the end of him, we saw Rangiku quickly appear, it was truly an emotional moment, as well as honored to be a great one here. Gin was awesome, and if he is truly dead, this moment has to be one of the top 10 moments! [Image: TouchedVenus]
That took a while to write and think about the greatest moments, hopefully you’ll agree with these awesome moments, if there are any that I missed, and those which you think should have gone instead of any of the ones placed above, you should definitely tell me what you think, just comment and tell me! Remember that these are only based on the anime, not the manga. Many other epic moments have happened in the manga.

Well, I’d definitely agree with 5 of those. Ichigo vs Grimmjow, Ichigo vs Aizen, Ichigo vs Ulquiorra, Aizen vs Everybody, and Ichigo vs Byakuya were awesome. For the other 5, I’d go with Ichigo vs Grimmjow round 1, Ichigo vs the final opponent in the X Cution arc. Byakuya vs Zommari, Zaraki vs Nnoitra, and The Captains vs Espada. Bleach has definitely had some really epic moments!

hmm very interesting 😛 regarding Ichigo vs Grimmy round 1, I intended for Ichigo vs Grim to be all of their fights added together to make it awesome! But yah, Bleach has definately had some awesome moments, especially captains vs espada! 1, 2 and 3 against Shinigami’s!!! woooh! STARKK! and Hallibel too 😛

Ah, well I do agree that all of the Ichigo vs Grimmjow fights were pretty awesome! Yeah, Hitsugaya vs Harribel was awesome and the Stark battle was really epic as well. I didn’t care for the Soi Fon vs Barragon battle quite as much, but it was still epic. I can’t wait until they adapt the new Quincy Arc

Haha yeah Barragon was good, but his back story about him owning Hueco and wanting it back wasn’t really that epic like Starkk and Harribel. Agreed 😛 Although I tried not to include any manga spoilers in here, I realllllly wanted to add them. So much epicness has happened, i’d say most of this quincy arc can match the other arcs in epicness!

Yeah, I figured that it was more based on the anime version which is why I kept out any scenes from the new arc. (Otherwise Ichigo arriving in the Soul Society would easily make my top 10. That’s one of my favorite scenes of all time!!)
I agree, it’s not that Barragon was bad..it’s just compared to Stark and Harribel he couldn’t hold his own. Throw him in Naruto and he’d be one of the better villains in the series for me 😀

For me, the best epidode in the Bleach is the battle between Ichigo’s Hollow Transformation and Ulquiorra. It’s really impressive. I was surprised (and excited) by the violence and the without-pity of Ichigo’s Hollow Transformation.
And in the manga, for the moment, my favourite scene is when Ichigo meets his Hollow and fights him. I don’t know why but I’m very intrigued by the Hollow and his will to become king. I remember that I jumped when he said : “INSTINCT !” as if he was speaking to me. X)
Of course, they are other great moments but that’s my opinion.

I forgot… The moment when I said the big “WTF ?” was in the Ichigo and Byakuya battle and that Ichigo used his Bankai. But I was really surprised when Ichigo wore, for the first, the Hollow mask and that it was the Hollow Ichigo who was speaking to Byakuya.

I really agree with all of those. P.S. my favorites are ichi- vs grim, and ichi- vs ulquiorra, but I seriously hope that there’s a way to use final getsuga tensyo, and not lose all his shinigami powers cuz, the power was seriously not even in the same league as Aizen, who is the most powerful opponent ichigo has faced so far in the anime, so I hope getsuga comes back

I think Kubo won’t allow Ichigo to use the Final Getsuga Tensho again because he may not want him to be that OP. To be frank, Aizen didn’t die by the Mugetsu which Ichigo used, so it technically wasn’t enough to kill him, only to destroy his armor and make him really weak. He might be the strongest opponent he’s faced, but the manga seems to say otherwise 😛

That is very true, but I was mainly talking about his power itself because it was so off the charts that Aizen couldn’t even comprehend it, and what you said kinda reminds me, I wonder how powerful urahara is, the furthest he has gone is to basic shikai of benihime, and ur right in the manga Aizen isn’t the most powerful bad guy yet but he is powerful enough that he was able to take on all 13 captains and survive to tell the tale

Very true lol, he’s crazy to even go up against them, I think he’s on the level of the 0 squad. Aizen is cleaver as well as strong, but he’s not the strongest…

Aizen is awesome, but the squad 0 dudes all contribuited to something good for the society before(if any of them ever) turning bad, so I’m not sure if Aizen will ever be qualified to join the club

I don’t doubt that they’re powerful because they all used to be caps but not all of them may have become captains because of power but I bet some of them were the only shinigami in their generation who actually had bankai

Oh right, thats a good point, I hope to see their real powers thought, although we know their special abilities and background etc, like creator of Zanpakuto’s and food type techniques and healing abilities, it’s likely that it’ll be awesome to see them fight.. which is what I’m waiting to see..

I seriously hope to see unohana actually fighting an enemy, I wanna see the full power of the bloodthirsty, dangerous, killing machines known as the original gotei 13. It’ll be a lot more awesome than the other gotei 13 cuz she was the first kenpachi, and if the kenpachi now is like this, I wonder what the 1st would be like

Wow that sounded awesome lol, we know that she was the original kenpachi but haven’t had any flash backs or anything, I hope to see those because it would just be awesome!!! I think the original were just animals compared to these, I think the current captains are nothing but ants compared to them.

What if Sajin’s grandfather was one of them? And at his peak time, he was the same size as Sajin, then he grew bigger and older. I’d like to think that some are alive, but we saw the end Yamamoto and now Unohana.. So it’s a great loss..

You’re right I just looked at the pic and saw someone who vaguely resembled komamura and kenpachi zaraki, in the way they hold their swords and in size. Oh and this has seriously been bugging my curiosity since the beginning, but if kenpachi is that powerful in shikai, I wonder how powerful his bankai would be

Zaraki’s power will probably double or triple when it reaches his Bankai… I hope to see how Kubo will show us this, he might be the strongest Captain, even surpassing Ichigo.

That wouldn’t be much of a surprise considering zaraki is already close to as powerful as ichigo(without hollow mask of course) and P.S. ichigo’s new zanpakuto looks awesome and hopefully that’s shikai cuz I wonder what a double bladed black blade bankai would look like

A lot of people are saying its his Shikai, I still believe that its his Bankai, because it is his Bankai that was broken and that is what cannot be fixed, and he fixed it here using Nimaiyas help. Plus a lot of people use the fact that Ichigo didn’t transform his cloths into something awesome that’s why these are not his Bankai but shikai, however I believe otherwise… I do think this is his Bankai… If this was his Shikai, then his bankai would have to look awsome…

Yeah… That last part is why I’m hoping that it’s shikai, cuz the bankai would have to awesome, and since there have been only a few shinigami in history who’ve had a double bladed zanpakuto, I’m also hoping that his, Kyoraku’s, and jushiro’s bankai share similarities because I’ve been thinking about that since the stark battle, also I’m kinda guessing that ichigo’s bankai will have double or maybe even triple the power as before because now his bankai is the manifestation of both his Quincy and shinigami powers

Very true…I’m kinda interested in jushiro’s because I wonder how kubo will represent a double bladed bankai that absorbs and redirects and I’m also kinda a bit less interested in Kyoraku’s because its weird that he can come out of shadows and force others to play dangerous weird games
