The latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, issue 14, is teasing that on Monday, the finale for the “Konoha Hiden” (Hidden Leaf Story) arc of the Naruto Shippuden anime will air on the 23rd of March which will also be the anime’s 500th Naruto Shippuden episode, or 720th overall episode if counting only Naruto.
Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump doesn’t mention if the Naruto Shippuden anime will end or continue on after the 500th episode. As you may have already known, the current arc focuses on the the messages and gifts that everyone is trying to obtained for the upcoming wedding of Naruto and Hinata.
The 500th episode that will air on the 23rd of March shall focus on Iruka’s message to Naruto and Hinata.
As you may have already known that Naruto Shippuden first began adapting three novels from the Naruto franchise in December. Firstly with Sasuke’s story, then moved onto Shikamaru’s and now onto Konoha Hiden.
On top of all of this, we know that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will begin on the 5th of April. It’s not been confirmed if this will replace Naruto Shippuden or run concurrently.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? Be sure to comment down below telling us what you think about the finale of the the current arc. Also thanks to Hugo for letting me know about this!
