Mavis Vermillion along with a number of other founding members are known as the first fairies within Fairy Tail. Mavis Vermillion is also the first to believe in fairies, and the fact that they do actually exist. On top of this, Mavis has come back to life time and time again whenever the guild required her to. Currently, she aids Fairy Tail against the armies of Zeref himself.
