Jump Fest event confirmed a lot of different things, one of which was the fact that Lionsgate and Michael Gracey (director) have been working on a live-action Hollywood film adaption of Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto series.
The event released some pre-production artwork and revealed that Kishimoto himself will be working on this during the production period.
At the same time, we also got a lot of news that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will also be released April 2017, are you excited?
Anyways, with that mentioned, I’m personally not so excited for the Hollywood live-action adaption, mostly due to the fact that Hollywood adaptations tend to kill fantastic shows, e.g. Dragon Balls.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm……………………………. I hope it’s something like the Rurouni Kenshin live-action film. Oh gosh. I’m worried.

Definitely worrisome news, I’d love for it to be great, but after dbz, I’ve steered away from the whole live action scene. Although I’m quite hyped for ghost in the shell.

I knooooow! Oh my goodness. Ghost in the Shell, if the trailers is any basis, looks great. I’m looking forward to it. And then we’ll see if it lives up to the original series.

I think we should all get past that DBZ tragedy that we suffer many years ago. Hollywood has put out some very impressive projects in the past decade involving CGI, beginning with Transformers and Ironman, and recently with Doctor Strange. If Naruto has taught us anything, it’s that we should never give up on hope. “That is my ninja way.”
