Nanao Ise recently found her calling after being reunited with her families sword, it’s ability to tear down anyone who calls themselves a god is seen to be reduced to nothing but ash into the win. Like her attitude, she is usually on top of things, but Captain Shunsui can lead her away from this attitude. The strictness is seen in this fantastic cosplay.

Is what she’s wearing known as a kimono? Or is it the Shinigami dress?

The Shinigami uniform is called Shihakusho. Kimono is what Nanao’s mother wore.

The cosplayer is wearing a kimono. Sense the kimono itself is completely black and the sash is white, it passes for the Shihakusho very well.

very good cosplay. Whats the difference between the Kimono & Shihakusho anyway? I wouldnt know coz we dont wear those around our part of the world..

A Shihakusho has a a black kosode (black shirt), white under shirt (white under shirt, white sash, and black hakama. A kimono is a along sleeved rope tired with a long sash.
