The Naruto Shippuden official website streamed a 30-second anime teaser video showing the latest television anime adaption of the Naruto spinoff novel called Itachi Shinden. The anime will premier on the 3rd of March 2016, which is in less than a months time. Could this be when the current Naruto Shippuden arc ends, most likely.
The title of the anime that was announced in December was “Naruto Shippuden: Itachi Shinden-hen ~Hikari to Yami~” which means Naruto Shippuden: The True Legend of Itachi Volume ~Light and Darkness~. However, currently it’s only referred to Naruto Shippuden: Itachi Shinden-hen.
So what do you think about the latest arc about to hit Naruto Shippuden, are you happy to learn more about Itachi, or do you just want the series to end already, comment down bellow telling me how you feel.

I hope it becomes better than the current filler arc but couldn’t they have made it a movie instead? I’m with those who want the series to end and if possible see Naruto Gaiden being animated

I think Gaiden might be done as a top up to the series, a nice little series to have at the end. I also dong know what else they could talk about Itachi in this arc, I hope its nothing that has been repeated already.

the story retell past story of itachi, and the reason why he choose ‘dark side’ in order to ensure the future of both uchiha and konoha..

yeah…i hope this movie will retell the event from itachi’s point of view… what happened when he still genin… and how itachi’s progress before he become anbu…

Yeah, hope so too. One thing I don’t remember is when he was still much younger, hopefully we learn from this and see what happens. Anbu stuff and his progress should also be a good few episodes, I just don’t want crap episodes.

Even though we’ve learned a ton about itachi, i’m a bit interested to learn more about him because he is a badass. I mean he had the mind of a hokage at the age of 8! (I wonder if shisui really was on par with him…)

Since its based of the novel about Itachi, you can’t call it a “real filler”, seems cool though.
But leaves me to wonder, will we get the Hiden Novels animated too?
