The official Blood Blackade Battlefront account on Twitter have posted a final promotional video before the 7th of October premiere of the upcoming second season for the anime. The video features the opening theme song “fake town baby” by Unison Square Garden, which can be seen below.

The upcoming season 2 of the anime explores the connection between Michella and Leo and will further explore the mysteries of the “All Seeing Eyes of God.” The second season will premier in Japan on MBS on the 7th of October at 27:08 (effectively October 8 at 3:08 a.m.), and will then air on Tokyo MX and BS11 on October 8 at 24:30 (effectively October 9 at 12:30 a.m.).

The cast returns along with BONES who are back at it as they animate the new second season. Shigehito Takayanagi is taking over as the director of the anime from previous Rie Matsumoto, as well as Yasuko Kamo from Kazunao Furuya as series composition. Toshihiro Kawamoto returns as character designer as animation director, with Taisei Iwasaki as the one to compose the music.
