Metal Lee! Training Begins – Boruto 3

Boruto 3 shows how the children of all the starts from Naruto/Naruto Shippuden are within the school they go to. This time, we concentrate on Metal Lee as he goes through phases such as being shy to upset and making up with Shikadai, Inojin and Boruto. It seems like a solid anime episode bringing more to the characters.

Boruto 3 begins as Shino tells everyone that today is time to use shuriken. Metal Lee is a little shy and thus fails every time people stare at him or do something. Boruto tries to use a larger shuriken but gets into trouble along with others in his class. They’re forced to repair Naruto’s face that Boruto broke earlier.

They’re slowly repairing it with the others, it’s hard work when the others take a break and begin playing games. They get back to work when Metal Lee tries to hard and breaks Naruto’s face. The others try to cheer him up but they make him upset. Later on, Shikadai goes home and realises that he shouldn’t have said what he did whilst talking to Shikamaru and Temari.

Shikadai see’s Metal the next day, he tries to apologise when Boruto see’s that Metal seems to have the same aura as the others who went rogue before. As they fight, they fight each other on and on, but Metal seems to be too strong for them until they manage to trap him. Metal begins to get stronger and stronger from the aura/chakra that he hurts himself when he trips, the aura disappears.

Shikamaru says sorry. Boruto gets home but cannot play with Himawari, he also even asks about Byakugan and how it works, as it might be similar to his own eye. Naruto is tired when he gets home, he cannot eat with them as he’s too tired. Next day, Boruto, Shikadai and Inojin play a game, Metal tries to get them to class but breaks it when they try to get him to play. Boruto 3 ends here.

A pretty good episode, seems like this aura will activate into a full blown demon or some sort, plus seems like we’ll be getting more character specific episodes as next week’s Boruto 4, titled “A Ninjutsu Battle of the Sexus!”, see’s Sarada.
