Bleach 628 focus on the arrival of Ichigo and Shunsui in different places only to realise that the Soul King Palace, including Zero Squad places, have been completely taken over by Yhwach. He now calls the new plane that he’s created Wahrwelt, or True World. It’s time for the Shinigami’s invasion to begin on this Wahrwelt created by Yhwach.
Bleach 628 begins as Shunsui and others cross through the gate into the Soul King’s palace only to realise that it’s a Quincy street. They later figure out that the streets have been lifted from Seireitei just now, the streets have just been rebuilt on top here. Shinji doesn’t believe it when Shunsui tells him that he’s become so powerful that he can easily do something like this.
Soifon realises that the streets are on top of something, if she’s not wrong then it’s on top of the Zero Division’s HQ. If they look above then there is nothing there, which can only mean that the Soul Palace has fallen and the enemy now has everything in his hands.
Yoruichi senses a reiatsu of her little brother that has just appeared, this being Yushiro while he’s with the Gotei 13. She explains that he’s the next head of her family, Ichigo and others try to figure out how he looks like when Yoruichi tells them that he looks a lot like her. They imagine a cat.
Yushiro goes towards her but realises that he cannot walk on nothingness, Byakuya explains that everything there is created out of reishi at a very high concentration, even higher than before. And thus makes it impossible to create a foothold out of this concentration.
This leads to one conclusion, the one that controls that reishi in this area is no longer one of their own. They’ve created a field that favors them, on top of which he’s so powerful that he killed the Soul King and replaced him. Shunsui mentions that they can sense Ichigo and others, they’re quite far away, which is still good news for them.
If the Soul King was defeated by the enemy, all they need to do is defeat that enemy and get a new one. If Ukitake were there, he’d say the same thing. They won’t be able to move forward unless they meet up with Ichigo and others, isn’t it time the Gotei 13 moved for the Gotei, everyone agrees and is pumped up.
In the middle of it all, there is chaos and struggle as building collapse and change. However, seconds later we see a large building with stacks on stacks with the Quincy HQ building on top. Shunsui mentions that he’s just created the Quincy Base, forget about keeping safe, it’s like he’s telling us to bring it on, so they will!
Jugram is in front of Yhwach as he kneels, he tells him that Ichigo and Gotei 13 parties are both moving forward at the same time into their welt (world). Yhwach mentions that this tower will soon become the cornerstone of their new world, and one and only true world. Wahrwelt, that’s what it’ll be called! Bleach 628 ends here.
A wonderful chapter as there is a grand building up to the amazing fight which Shinigami’s must battle to get back the Soul Palace. It’s another battle Yhwach will have to face in order to keep his Wahrwelt. Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 629 when we see much more progress.

Omg that last couple of chapters have been so slow. Ichigo and Gotei 13 better meet next chapter and be in front of Yhwach and others at the end. They’re just describing the Soul King’s powers and things people already know. Cool design to the place though.

Agreed, the last few chapters have been quite slow, however I think Kubo will just pick up the pace and show us the truly amazing battle that Yhwach will have for us. Yeah, I think Yhwach’s power is being emphasized a lot, and we know how powerful he truly is just by moving a whole city to his location and rearranging it with just his thoughts is insane.

When Yhwach and Quincies are defeated who do you think will be the New Soul King. I read mangastream and Shunsui said they’ll have to choose a new one. When Aizen and Shunsui met and spoke, Shunsui said that their interests are about to intersect. I think this is what he meant, Aizen becoming the Soul King.

Personally I don’t think anyone can replace the Soul King. Do they not realize that Yhwach Is The Soul King? And Yhwach said himself that the Shinigami created the Soul King. Its possible with the combined intelligence of Mayuri, Shutara, and Kisuke, they can make a new one. I highly doubt they will let someone like Aizen be the next Soul King, when he isn’t that much different from Yhwach. In terms of evil, not thirty goals. I Loved The New Capital City for the Quincy. Where were Liltotto, Bazz-B, and Giselle?

Maybe if they do end up letting aizen become the soul king, it will be on their terms meaning that aizen will be pretty much useless because of some seals which may or may not be placed on him.

I don’t think Aizen will be restricted once he gains Soul King-level powers by mere seals. He’ll become a God by then.

Totally agreed but how would the Shinigami be able to even create a Soul King? I’d think it’s a person rather then a thing. I think they require a volunteer of some kind to be able to become the Soul King?

I’m not sure how they did get the first Soul King. Yhwach said they Soul King was created to stop the horrible trafficking of souls in the soul society. I think he is a person, but also he was created. I don’t know, he is Yhwach’s father, and most likely his mother was the first Quincy.

Could it be some kind of voluntary sacrifice. When he got consumed by the power he was given, he was going to die, he was put under the crystallized thing.

It must be. I don’t know. If anything, we know the Soul King is not a Shinigami. The first born Shinigami was Yamamoto. So it’s possible he was just a regular soul with amazing Reiyoku and Reiatsu. Than I think when he stabilized the dimensions, he sensed a unique species in the world of the living, or Yhwach’s mother. Cause Yhwach looks nothing like the former soul king.

I think Kubo needs to cover The Soul King’s past, we’ve see the past of Yhwach but not the Soul King’s. I think it needs to be soon otherwise it’ll be awkward to see his past out of the blues. Nevertheless, I still think there is a lot of info that we don’t know, specifically the past of certain individuals.

I just kind of thought they need a strong shinigami, qunicy or a being and to just seal them in the Crystal. The way Hashwalth explained the Soul King a couple chapters ago, he made it sound like the Shinigami forced and trapped a being inside that Crystal and gave it a sole purpose of balancing souls. Where does it say Yamamoto was the 1st born shinigami?

I guess not the first born Shinigami but Yamamoto was the first. And from what I saw Yhwach do, it seems at some point, the Soul King lost control over its immense powers and the Shinigami sealed it in that crystallization. Because we found out that Yhwach is controlling nearly all the Reishi around, which means no one can use their speed d techniques to walk on air, even the Quincy.

I think Aizen becoming Soul King is more of a problem then a solution, he would just eliminate everyone! He tried it once but Ichigo stopped him.

That’s what I think too. While some think he can be one, I don’t think he should be the new soul king. This arc is about Quincy, not Aizen.

Ya that’s true. We still have no clue what really happened 1000 years ago, or even before that. That’s why Bleach isn’t ending this year, I’m expecting two more past arcs from Kubo.

Bleach is always slow compared to anything else I can think of. Still, it’s my favorite manga. I just wish Kubo would pick up the pace just a little and keep it that way. The past month or 2 have been REALLY slow. You probably couldn’t make half an episode out of the last 4 chapters without adding a lot of filler. The events just don’t take up that much real time. I am ready for all this build up to come to a head and see the last part of this war unfold.

Well I have been trying to keep track of the days. Day one ended when Renji defeated Mask and slept the whole night with NaNaNa watching him with his Schrift The Underbelly. Than I believe day two ended with Yhwach using Auswählen in the remaining Sternritter, which they needed time to restore their lost Reiyoku, so that probably took another day. So I believe their on day three. I hope I tracked it right.

Many people haven’t been seen yet, but they are their. Ya if I remember, Ukitake is down for the count because he lost Mimihagi, and I believe Isane is helping him or keeping him stable.

Well I think Aizen won’t say anything out of pride. Yhwach was able to create his own nation in such a short amount of time. I don’t think Aizen can do that. Plus the only Visord shown in this chapter was Hiyori and Shinji.

I want to see Love’s bankai and grimjow’s new found strength. It seems that the gotei have finally arrived but they still have yet to confront the enemy. The enemy has created a place that benefits themselves while i predicted that the enemy would create traps. Maybe next chapter yhwach will continue to show off what he can do if the gotei confront him. I personally want to see the soul reapers get rid of the elites first before they confront yhwach, uryu, and jugram. It looks like soon kyoraku and jugram will have their battle after all.

I am still expecting more enemies to show up, and I bet the remaining Sternritter will just go up to the capital fortress by themselves. I want to see everyone fight except for Byakuya sense he has nothing left to show us.

I really don’t have anything to say but I for one believe that Yushirou is waaaaay stronger than he looks and the fact that his sister sensed his presence way over there tells me something. The boy maybe on his sisters level but I can see him being slower but I’m not gonna judge him because his appearance could be a contradiction just like how those four girls were when everybody thought ichigo and kenpachi would have killed them in one strike. Everything else about this chapter is basically a huge build up and the fact that they have confirmed that the Quincy are all powerful now because it is their realm tells me that just because we may have all of these heroes won’t mean shit..and like I said I bet it’s going to be Yhwach+Blondie+Uryu+Eliteritter+RG+Tier/Quincicars vs Ichigo+YoruichiGroup+Shinigami+Rebelritter+Grimm Nel/Arrancars. I can see ALOT of potential match ups and a lot of them that I see makes a lot of sense.

I was amazed how they how they control the Reishi all around the Royal Realm so no one can use Shunpo, Hirenkyaku, Sonido, and Bringer Light to walk on air anymore. That explains why whenever anyone falls off, they fall for good.

But knowing how kubo run things I doubt they would be limited from those necessary skills…someway or another an asspull will be used. I’m just gonna wait because a volume consists of 10 cups I think and I doubt that any battle will start until these next two build up chapters are done..man I wish kubo didn’t throw away meninas or candice.. It felt like we didn’t really get to see meninas limit or other skills and if candice named her attacks I doubt that electrocution was her last because she was coming at ichigo for another round ..don’t really get why he decided to keep Lil and Gigi but I think with those two they have more than one ability in their letter and if they have a limit..

Well that’s the thing. The only Sternritter Kubo Really Threw Away Was NaNaNa and Pepe. Candice, Meninas, and BG9 are still alive, and if NaNaNa, Bazz-B, Liltotto, and Giselle were able to regroup, most likely these three did as well. I mean NaNaNa survived Auswählen after being defeated by Byakuya’s Bankai. Candice was also defeated by Byakuya’s Bankai, and Meninas was defeated by Liltotto. And Auswählen hit them. Mostly likely if NaNaNa survived, those two did too. Hell, I think BG9 was the 8th Sternritter to hey hit with Auswählen. He was the only other Sternritter fighting in the Wandenreich without dying. Again, he survived too.
