Bleach battles are one thing, but the best Bleach battles are even better. We’ve seen a number of great and amazing battles within Bleach, the top 5 bleach battles which I think are the amazing and deserve to be in the top five are listed here, only looking at anime battles.
Ichigo vs Kenpachi was the grand battle we got when we arrived in the Soul Society, Kenpachi was looking for someone to fight who was both strong and able to take hits. He certainly faces him here, Ichigo went down a couple of times, but using Zangetsu’s abilities, he came back even stronger. Definitely deserving of a spot here afterall its one of the fights that made Bleach even better for me at the time.
Starrk, a Hollow, versus Shunsui, one of the smartest and strongest captains. Both had a fantastic fight, in fact they fought till one was literally down for the count. Out of all the great battles concerning a numbered Hollow and a Captain, I think this one could probably be one of the best featuring lots of action, strategic fighting and some really emotional moments between Starrk and his Pistols.
Top Three: Kenpachi vs Nnoitra
Possibly one of the fights which brought action to the scenes of Hueco Mundo, Nnoitra has a past with Nel, to which as their battle progresses, Kenpachi becomes stronger and stronger. Both power up to their strongest form possible, Kenpachi uses two arms when battling Nnoitra, while Nnoitra goes into his Resurreccion to become strong as he can.
The face which everyone had when they saw Aizen dead was just shock and awe, they couldn’t believe what they saw, once Aizen had changed over to his new look. We saw Aizen go up against the Gotei 13 a number of times, he was in a pickle more times then you can count, however each time Aizen fought and was able to kick everyone’s ass multiple times.
Ichigo vs Ulquiorra is possible the one fight which began Ichigo’s streak, he went from nearly dying, he was in a dark hole when Orihime’s scream woke up his insides and brought nothing but destruction upon Hueco Mundo and the person facing Hollow Ichigo, Ulquiorra. He was cared and possibly loved by Orihime, to which his death was very touching.
Memorable Fight: Ichigo vs Grimmjow
This fight was way too awesome, it’s possibly one of the best fights I’ve seen in Bleach anime, the reason why it’s not my top one is due to the fact Grimmjow is definitely not dead, and a recap of this battle is something I’d like to see. I’m expecting this battle to be on a level of gods, a battle so powerful and intense that it will bring great joy to every single Bleach fan.
So what are your thoughts? Do you think that these battles deserve to be the top of Bleach, or do you think that there are other fights which deserve a spot here too. Go ahead and comment down below telling me how you feel.
the list is very good. I do think they all disserve to be epic Bleach fights. I would say some fights I liked better are mostly in the current arc. My most favorite of all is Ichibei vs Yhwach. I also enjoyed Uryu vs Mayuri, Zaraki vs Kaname and Sajin, Yoruichi vs Sui-Feng, Mayrui vs Szyal Aporro, and Ichigo vs Byakua.

Oh yeah Ichibei is awesome, although I wanted to only have anime fights in here. Once the Quincy arc is over, I might do another one of these. Uryu vs Mayuri was awesome too, Mayuri was strong then, stronger now, only time we properly got to see him without any type of make up, which was awesome.
The first Ichigo vs Byakuya when he took Ichigo’s blade without even an inch of movement, was probably one of the best starting bleach moments, showed so much awesomeness, I was literally on the edge of my seat when I was watching 😛

Dude me to. And ya I understand the anime fights are listed for a reason. That’s why I can’t wait for the final arc to he animated. The final fight between Ichigo and Byakuya was awesome as well. Ya Mayuri without his face paint is interesting. He has dark skin, no ears, and blue hair. I can see why Kubo loves drawing him. His appearance in general is so unique and very intimidating.

I think with Mayuri’s face, he can draw anything and it would still look amazing and weird. Which is what I love about Mayuri. He might look like an idiot, but inside he’s one heck of a mastermind.

Ya he sure is. I like that in recent chapters, Kubo showed us the rivalry between Mayuri and Aizen. They are both very intelligent, and Kisuke is smarter than them. Hell, the only ones that I have seen ever intimidate Mayuri is Unohana and Shutara, but not Aizen. It was interesting. While I consider Mayuri the weakest Captain, he sure he one of the hardest to kill.

I bet he’s got clones of himself somewhere. If one dies, he can just get another Kage Bunshino Jutsu and bam, Mayuri is unkillable.

Man you never know. He is so smart I have no clue. All I know is when he is about to die, he stabs himself with his Zanpakuto, and he turns into a green liquid. He always has an escape plan. I did enjoy his fight with Giselle.

You could say he’s immortal, he’s just awesome. I feel like I need to watch his best off moments because of this chat lol.

Ya he is cool. I mean he as a character is very disturbing. He is a sadist that loves causing pain. But I do enjoy his fights. I also agree with him about perfection. I just finished watching his fight with Szayel Aporro.

A solid list Sunite! Bleach has definitely had some of the best anime fights that I’ve seen and they’ve always been very intense. My top 5 fights would probably be
5 It’s a tough call deciding which fight to put here, but I’d probably put in Gin vs Ichigo final round.
4 Ichigo vs Grimmjow round 1. I really liked this battle to start off the arc.
3 Aizen climax, but specifically his battle against the Captains.
2 Ichigo vs Grimmjow. That final fight was awesome and I really liked the first two battles between them as well.
1 Ichigo vs Ulquiorra. I absolutely agree that this is the best fight in all of Bleach. It was amazing.
I’m sure that some of the fights from the latest arc will definitely be going there as well once it is animated.

Ohh great list, Gin vs Ichigo was incredible, I really miss Gin, I want him to come back :'(. The Quincy Arc will have definitely have some of the best fights in Bleach. I can’t wait to see what the animation team delivers in terms of pure action!

I miss Gin too. He was very powerful. The way he handled Ichigo was impressive, and God the way he cut in half Hiyori was very heart clenching.

Indeed, I really wanted to see more of Gin and Matsumoto, even a filler arc would have made me happy.

Ya I want more, especially from Rangiku. She has been confirmed to be Captain level when Giselle turned her into a zombie. Only zombies with dark red skin are Captain level.
LikeLike
Ah yeah that’s correct, but the problem here is that they’re not human anymore. How/What will Mayuri have to do in order to bring them back to humanity.

I’m not sure either. The only zombies that actually died were Bambietta ( killed by Giselle) and Toshiro ( also killed by Giselle) Rangiku was defeated by Cang Du, while Kensei and Rojuro were killed by Gremmy, but his effects were reversed.

Yeah that’s true, Giselle seems surprisingly weak, but with her mass number of zombies she has, she’s actually quite strong. In a 1v1 fight, she wouldn’t stand a chance. (Also, just noticed you changed your name :P)

Ya I think he will find a way to revive the zombies that aren’t dead. The ones that are dead are the only two Giselle killed herself, which is Bambietta and Toshiro. As for Rangiku, Kensei, and Rojuro, I see them surviving. Ya I did. I signed up with WordPress but my new image isn’t showing up.

Aizen vs Gotei 13 should be #1 I think, it was amazing. Ichigo vs Ulquiora was a long fight and just 1 sided, changed at half time lol. Byakuya vs Ichigo is tied for #5. Hopefully good fights coming up in Manga.

Yeah I’m sure this Quincy arc will deliver and then some. The anime for this will definitely be something to watch. I’m sure old bleach fans will be coming back to watch it too.

That’s what I’m hoping for. I can’t wait. I’m also curious to see if the Sternritter will have different colors for Reishi, or all will be the standard light blue.
LikeLike
I hope they do actually, helps to differentiate them. Makes them seem a little better and gives them some personality.

I hope so. Its True Like You Said It Will Maki Them Stand Out more. I know with the Fullbringers, they did for like three of them. Sense their powers always show a light green Reishi, Chad has blue, Ginjou has maroon, and Riruka has pink.
LikeLike
And Ichigo has two set of colours, blue for his normal attack, then Bankai is his red/black attack.
LikeLike
Ya that’s true. His Reiatsu Has Two Different colors. Same with other certain characters whej they enter Bankai. I know Mayuri had light purple Reiatsu, but using Bankai, his Reiatsu becomes red. Sui-Feng has Yellow Reiatsu, using Shunko gives her White Reiatsu, and using Bankai gives her light blue Reiatsu. You know Orihime, her Reiatsu is light orange. But in this arc, it was shown that her powers work by absorbing Reishi like a Quincy. Which I thought was interesting. So most likely the other Sternritter will have different colors of Reishi.

I agree with two of those but… ‘Ichigo vs Grimmjow’ is the best. Unlike many other fights in Bleach where it only shows the fighters vanishing and reappearing between cuts of minor characters staring (see Ichigo vs Byakuya) or just throwing different colored beams at each other while being shocked by their lack of effect (see Ichigo vs Ulquiorra), The Grimmjow fight has lots of physical choreography and double meanings. Not only this but the Ulquiora fight takes away any risk to Ichigo’s character, how many times can a character die before we stop taking death seriously? Even the Kenpachi is better, mainly because its the fight time he is revived mid-battle.

there alot of interesting fights in bleach but nothing gave me the chills like wen i first saw Ichigo Vs Byakuya at sokyoku hill( & mind u that this is coming from a non-byakuya fan) i easily give it a number 1 simply coz of the feeling of excitement it made me feel wen i first watched bleach…
my number 2 is actual my personal favourite & my personal number 1 is stark vs shunsui, now im not gonna hide the fact that i like Shunsui & he is my favourite character in bleach but its mainly coz of this fight & i feel that not many appreciate fight like i do, The way Shunsui defeated Stark jst shows wat a strong & cunning mind Shunsui has, he made Stark feel as thou they were on the same level while slightly showing off little by little to Stark as they fought that he was way stronger, the part which killed me in this fight was wen Shunsui used “Irooni”(I bet most of u know how this ability works) he intensionally cut off the grey colour of Stark’s hand cloth(the colour with minimum risk of damage), Stark felt like that cut could probably have cut off is arm but the damage was reduced by katen kyokotsu, but since stark was smart & quick to realise that shunsui mentioned grey before he cut him on his arm, well he thought to mention a colour as well before cutting him & chose “white”, now the cut landed by stark wasnt that severe but given the colour mentioned was of greater risk of damage since he chose a colour that for the most part it was wat he wore since stark clothes for the most part where white, Shunsui suffered a rather severe blow, but he jst went on & commended on Stark straight away on how he was able to figure out his ability so quickly & then even went as far as telling him how irooni actually works, now that may seem abit stupid on Shunsui’s part since by telling Stark how is ability actually works means he put himself in even more disadvantage, but wat followed next ryt after that is wat made me see y Shunsui is one of the strongest captains bleach, i mean he could have easily go for the kill jst at the start wen he used “irooni” but he jst had to land a blow on a non-fatal colour intentionally to make Stark as thou he was having an edge in it while clearly, it was all for show, its not just that, this fight had mind games from the very beginning..for that & the fact that alot of mind was put on set as well as skills in this battle, this is easily my my personal no.1
Im not goin to comment on the rest of the battles since they speak for themselves
3. Espada 5 vs Kenpachi
4. grimmjow vs Ichigo
5.Aizen fake karakura showdown
there some other good battles like the one Yamamoto fought both Ukitake & Shunsui’s reigai in that arc before fullbringer arc, it was for a brief moment but wat a showdown by yamaji who only had one…..

Ya I did love Shunsui vs Starrk. That fight was amazing. I did like how we got to see what his Zanpakuto can do. And how his personality fits so well with children games. I remember during the Zanpakuto arc, when Shunsui was fighting Katen Kyokotsu, the shorter woman appeared from his shadow using Kageoni. That gave us hints to what his abilities are. I personally believe his strongest technique was Irooni. And the fact that not only Starrk wasn’t serious during their fight at the beginning, neither was Shunsui. His Zanpakuto wasn’t serious, and only let him use two of her techniques, Bushogoma and Takaoni.

I think he has a real strong bond & understands well his zanpaktous than any other Soul reaper, even his zanpaktou spirit acknowledged that of him, i think the fact that he is the only soul-reaper whose lets his zanpaktou control their zanpaktou/soul reaper relationship better illustrates his mastery of it, & thats y its for that reason i think dat no one can beat Shunsui in his own games & i also think partly thats y even his zanpaktou developed these sort of abilities which r of risk to himself as wel since he is more than capable of handling them, after-all, zanpaktous are imprints of shinigami’s own soul…Shunsui describes his zanpaktou has a fickle one, but is also a fickle one himself…Its said dat Shunsui rather prefers one on one batlles given his abilities since in a group fight if he were to use his zanpaktou effectively he would hidder others or but them in danger given his abilities, thats y he is resorted to sneak attacks wen it comes to a group fight with his comrades & rather prefers to keep his distance, another reason is the fact that most of his zanpaktou abilities involve kill or be killed kinda games, its also why Shunsui doesnt like to get into unneccesary confrontation but it doesnt mean he is unlikely to fight if the situation demands that of him..Thats why i find him rather intriguing & Kubo is still doing better with him as a character, still cunning & sly has ever, not boasting abt how strong he is & still thinks of himself as any other captain & acts ordinary too, even thou he is entirely in different league..i really really like that abt him..
