My Journey to MCM Comic Con London 2014

It’s that time of year again where tons of anime fans are cosplaying as some of the greatest characters in anime, movies and gaming around. This post will be displaying and concentrating some bits and bobs of what I got up to during the MCM Comic Con in London, on the 24th of June 2014. I also bought a few things which are all pictured below, hope you like what you see.

I should start out by saying that this was actually my first ever comic con, and that I did not cosplay as anything. I had bought a Toshiro Hitsugaya’s T Shirt as seen below. I was trying to find a unique and cool Ichigo T Shirt but was unable to, and the time it takes for something to ship and get to you, especially anime related stuff takes forever, thus I just ordered this.

As I entered the actual rooms, there were a lot of stalls, from gaming to anime, to movies and even music things. The first thing that interested me were these rings, they were really cool, although not enough to actually make me buy them. Can you spot the Akatsuki and Attack on Titan badges and rings?

Different rings based on different anime'sSo who did I take a picture with first, an anime character or something along those lines? No, it was in fact these two storm troopers. And yes, if you were wondering, that’s me with the Toshiro T Shirt. And were you expecting me to look different?

Me standing next to Storm TroopersHere are a few awesome looking posters around the comic con that you might like. From a large shark balloons to some pretty cool umbrellas at the event. It was pretty good.

Some awesome and pretty cool key chains available at this booth, I also went a head and bought a Bleach Hollow key chain for myself, and a Chopper key chain from the anime One Piece.

From awesome plushies to fantastic action figures of your favourite anime heroes and villains. Also some real and fantastic swords  which were available to buy for crazy prices. Also some One Piece characters with Attack on Titan clothes.

Also for gaming fans, there was a section for mainly esport gaming, some really awesome and talented League of Legends players were going at it to win quite a lot of money.

Here are a few Star Wars themed things that were also at Comic Con which again were pretty cool to see, I guess it must be a build up to the next up coming movie. From some really cool Storm Troopers, who did succeed in scaring the life out of me, to the awesome R2D2.

On top of all of this, we expected Jessica Nigri to also show up as she was scheduled too, however her flight lost her bags and she couldn’t do a lot about it. She didn’t even manage to make it to London for the day. A friend of mine was unhappy because of this.

Here are a few extra pics who I also took an image with, some of which are really awesome and cool, from Attack on Titan’s Titans to Bleach captains which are totally awesome and cool. I also managed to find Bee from Naruto.

In conclusion, I did buy quite a lot of other awesome stuff such as a one up hoodie related to Mario. Also a Creeper beanie, as well as got some other goodies available at the event. I loved it, it was awesome and I had a lot of fun, and so did my friends. And yes the image has the front friend in a mid blink situation – he doesn’t like the image because he derped out.

Me and a few friendsThanks for reading all of this, and hopefully you liked this journey which I took to Comic Con, hopefully I will be able to cosplay as an awesome character next time I go. Please do comment down below to tell me what your thoughts were on this.

Hah it’s awesome, if you ever have the chance, be sure to go. Actually I didn’t. I’m not a massive fan of collecting manga, I’ve never done it and on top of that it can get expensive if you want a whole set for a series like Bleach. Yeah that’s true. Actually one of my friends wanted to buy some ecchi manga, which I thought was pretty funny, he didn’t find what he was looking for.
