Isn’t the Soul Eater Not like a side project show for the Soul Eater anime itself?

If you’re looking for a new anime to watch from the ones listed above, I recommend Tenkai Knights, Yugioh Arc V, and Cardfight Vanguard. Of course, Cardfight will be in its 4th or 5th series by this point, but it’s very easy to just jump into. Kai will also be intense to watch alongside the original version in Z once it’s on.
If Soul Eater Not is half as good as Soul Eater, then it’ll be great. Unfortunately, I don’t have high expectations at this point. The rest of the anime on the list I either haven’t heard of, or they just aren’t my style. Still, a decent season for anime.

I’ve never been a massive fan of Yugioh, I was kind of interested in it when was younger but never went out and got the cards or anything. Tenkai Knights reminds me of Lego lol, and somewhat a kid-ish show, nevertheless seems like a good one. Vanguard seems like Yugioh lol. Yeah I wish I had time to begin another one, I already watch quite a few.
I started Soul Eater but never got a lot of time to get myself to watch it. Nice to see that there is another one. A lot of people are talking about it. Yeah 🙂

Tenkai Knights is similar to Legos, but never underestimate the Kudomo genre. It is aimed at kids, but so was Megaman NT Warrior. (Where people got stabbed and their arms ripped off) Tenkai Knights is a pretty happy show, but things have been getting dark as the season ends. Plus, the animation is by Bones, so we’re seeing Full Metal Alchemist level fights. It’s pretty awesome! I’m actually a pretty big fan of anything that’s toyetic. I agree that things can get dicey when things are too kiddy, but it depends how it plays out. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is a good example of a show that may be looked at as a kid’s show, but it’s actually got some really nice episodes that have solid meanings.
BTW, which anime are you currently watching? I know that you’re watching Naruto and Fairy Tail. Since Sword Art Online, Attack on Titan, and Bleach are gone, did you find replacements for them or decided that you could use the extra time?
I’m currently watching One Piece, Samurai Jack, Naruto, Soul Eater, Blue Exorcist, Yugioh Zexal, Tenkai Knights, Digimon Fusion, A Certain Magical Index- Railgun spinoff, Cardfight Vanguard, Buddyfight, with a few shows that are currently on hiatus or unavailable. (Yugioh 5Ds, Tai Chi Chasers, Scan2Go) So I’m definitely stretched a little thin, but I typically just watch one episode a week for most of the shows and just focus on one mainly. So, I watch multiple eps of Railgun and one ep a week for the rest of the shows.
Soul Eater is really good and I’m sure that you will like it even more as you progress through it. (The anime dies out a little towards the end since it diverges from the manga, but it’s still good) I’m just worried that Soul Eater Not will become the next Rock Lee show. (That was horrible) Still, I won’t harshly judge it until the first 2 episodes are out. 2 is usually enough to judge how good an anime is, but not always. (Naruto got good at around episode 5-10)

Currently on Naruto, Log Horozin and Norogami. Seems nothing on paper, but it’s just that I can’t find any time to watch any more. Just have a lot of work to do so it’s hard to keep stuff up.

Yeah, that’s understandable. To make way for my anime viewing, I had to cut down on my other hobbies. Video Gaming and blogging have been significantly reduced for me. I haven’t really heard of Log Horozin or Norogami, but I know that you did a post on Horozin. How are those two right now on a scale of 1-5 or 1-10?

If you liked Sword Art Online (which is based on the story and love and rescue) then Log Horizon* is similar but based on the game aspect more. Noragami* is based on ghosts and story and animation is pretty good, similar to Bleach in my opinions. Watching the pilot for them could get you hooked 😛 I also watch Kill La Kill but cna’t find time to catchup…
Noragami i’d say 7/8 out of 10. Log Horizon 7/8.

As someone who has both watched all the music videos/PV’S and kept up to date with the manga for Kagerou Project (AKA: Mekaku City Actors) I Can’t stress how much you guys need to give the anime adaptation a chance. As deceiving as the plot summary may be it is important to keep in mind that :
– one of the main themes for this anime is TRAGEDY
– Steins;Gate is the first result when looking for anime similar to it.
