Bleach 568 shows Byakuya right at the end. While As Nodt breaks free, while Rukia cools down, he uses his Vollstandig to quickly enable his fear, which seems to have covered Rukia in tremendous shock as she is unable to move. As Nodt tells her that currently she has no hope to do anything, after all she has done, his fear is truly superior. Byakuya quickly cuts into what he sees to be a large circular dome and enters when As Nodt notices him.
Bleach 568 begins as Rukia slowly begins to increase her body temperature, she needs to make sure not to damage her cells while doing this. She once again begins to bleed, she also mentions that she needs more training to master this technique. She mentions that looks like she may have exceeded the four second rule. She looks back at As Nodt while he thinks of fear.
She knows something is going to happen and thus gets ready, As Nodt thinks that this could be the way to incite fear, to which he rejects Rukia’s fear. This is not fear, the only thing he fears is his majesty, Yhwach (Juha Bach). At the same time he begins to break out of the ice, he mentions that compared what Yhwach could do to him, the battle is nothing!
He rolls his eyes to show his Quincy sign, he quickly enables his Quincy: Vollstandig, Tartar Foras (literally meaning Fear of God). Rukia goes to attack him however he shows up behind her. She tries to strike him with her sword but it seems that it doesn’t work as she clearly didn’t reach far enough, he mentions that she cannot touch him.
Rukia clearly notices this and tries to attack but she keeps on missing, when he points out that her feet seem to obviously be paralyzed. Rukia mentions that it’s impossible that her body has been paralyzed by his fear. She goes to say something when he mentions that her body cannot stop looking at his body, she’s in slight fear.
Even if her cells are frozen her nerve cells are still fully functional, thus his fear connects to these nerve cells and do their work. This is possibly the true meaning of Tatar Foras! It manifests from within, originating from her optic nerves he mentions. There seems to be a wall around to which seems to show a large number of eyes.
He mentions that she could glare where ever she wants but won’t be able to avoid his eyes, plus her nerves now belong to him. Rukia closes her eyes, when As Nodt tells her that closing her eyes will accomplish nothing, her memories will weigh her heart down, it will be all the moments she faced that will scare her.
We see moments which include, Ichigo, Orihime, Hollow Ichigo and many other moments. These feelings grow and become stronger if she closes her eyes. As Nodt mentions that her heart will be consumed by oblivion by his fear.
Rukia shouts loudly at tall the fear that she currently faces, however out of nowhere a space behind As Nodt appears as though someone may have cut it, Rukia notices this. As Nodt mentions that he’s finally decided to show up when we see the awesome Byakuya finally show up! His blade cuts through all the fear in Rukia’s heart. Bleach 568 ends here.
What a fantastic chapter, Byakuya has finally shown up, it’s so awesome to see that he has healed up well and is wearing such a crazy new look, it looks pretty cool on him. Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 569, when we’ll see more awesomeness and even Byakuya vs As Nodt!

This battle was only leading to this from the start. We all know Rukia is not a strong fighter and she always seems to be weak. I think her going to Soul king palace was a waste of time. Someone like the guy who has 69 on his face should have taken her place. But that’s my opinion. I hope Byakuya kick some serious ass because his pride was badly dented. Need to see more of these three before itchigo shows up

Just because she didn’t defeat As Nodt doesn’t mean she’s weak. I always considered As much stronger than Mask De Masculine. So I’m sure shes very strong. This just shows that she needs to find and defeat the Stern Ritter that deafeated her in her in the first invasion. Plus The Fear is a really difficult ability to counter. Renji actually had it easy with Mask. So don’t talk down about Rukia cause she didn’t defeat As Nodt. And Rukia in my opinion has always been stronger than Shuuhei. He got his ass kicked by Mask pretty easily. Now I wonder who is Rukias Sternritter rival.

She is weak though. She’s been portrayed as a damstel in distress who constantly needs to be saved and can’t finish fights on her own the entire series. Very rarely has she ever been in a situation where she didn’t need saving, as such she is weak.
Yes, and Mask kicked the shit out of Kensei and Rose too who happens to be captains so in my opinion that’s a pretty poor comparison.
I don’t think she has a rival among the sternritters at all.

Thank you. I was just about to say that. I didn’t see Renji defeat any espada with his shikai alone. So I do consider her a rival among the Stern Ritter. Shuuhei as well, just not as strong as Renji or Rukia

yeah…not just rukia but everyone will lose to as nodt because it’s not about strength or power..it just about fear…i wonder if renji fight against as nodt, he surely loss …maybe zaraki is the suit opponent for as nodt since he’s not fear anything

so how is byakuya goin to obtain his bankai since, he ddnt eat that hollow pill which was made by urahara. and since byakuya sword has already mature, I don’t think he learned any new tricks except the fact that his spiritual pressure has increased. I would be realy happy if he beat AS NODT with his shikai. that would mean that he still has a chance of beating kanpachi Zaraki in the future.

I think the Zero Squad helped to get his Bankai back. I too hope that As Nodt and Byakuya all out. Byakuya vs Zaraki would be awesome, but both of them have increased their powers in different ways.

Remember what Bambietta had said: Having a Bankai keeps a SternRitter from releasing Quincy: Vollständig. Given that Äs Nödt had no trouble on using this ability, it should be inferred that Byakuya actually regained his Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. It is uncertain wether he took the pill or if the Royal Guard had something to do with it, though…

I’m guessing that she does not have her bankai yet since she had so much trouble with her Shikai. Once she masters the Shikai to its fullest extent, then she should be able to learn her bankai

Disappointing that Rukia lost her fight, but she was up against a tough opponent so I won’t hold it against her. Byakuya really needs to crush this guy and then head for the main villain….if he’s really here that is!! I wouldn’t place too much hope on that being the real Byakuya just yet

I do want Byakuya to win, but not in such a violent way o-O When the heroes start doing things like that, then they’re not much better than the villains. I don’t like how many heroes are resorting to destroying the villains lately. Byakuya is by no means a hero in that sense, but if he’s doing to destroy the villain, then I hope that it all ends quickly

I believe Rukia has a Bankai now. Just because she didn’t master her Zanpakuto doesn’t mean she doesn’t have one. Toshiro had a Bankia be he didn’t have his Zanpakuto fully mastered either.

She may need to perfect both her Shikai and Bankai, even if she’s activated it, it would go horribly wrong if she was to enable her Bankai. She needs more training time to use them.

As Nodt is officially the weirdest character in bleach yet and remember even if As Nodt is defeated, yhwach will grow stronger than he already is and i wonder how can they stop a him when his strength comes from all conflict plus he put a part of his soul in everyone in the seireitei

I DO hope that the Kuchiki siblings will defeat As Nodt TOGETHER, because Rukia’s fighting was getting really cool, and I don’t want another situation where a girl is taken from what should be her designated fight so that a stronk mahn can save her. (Neliel vs Nnoitra…)
Now, if they somehow overcame As Nodt’s fear with the power of their bond that hacked him to bits, THAT would be something else entirely. But PLEASE don’t have Rukia completely exit the fight.

honestly not the best chapter of bleach yet as it still shows that rukia still needs help from byakuya, but im not saying that rukia is weak, i just wish they made rukia character more reliable, but im just wondering more how byakuya made to to soul society first than ichigo

maybe byakuya left before ichigo. plus I strongly feel that bleach is now following in the footsteps of Dragon ball and naruto, where the main character arrives later to save the day. and I still remember ichigo when he left the palace sayin sumtin like he will arrive late at soul society, maybe he 1st went to where urahara is?

If the Shinnigami realise the Quincy plan they will stop killing them as it only makes the King stronger each death, he must be testing and to see who stands last of the Shinnigami and be worthy of fighting him!!! I can’t see even itchigo standing his own ground against Yhwach. The Shinnigami seem to weak right now. But there is more to be unfolded to this Arc. I hope byakuya kills Asnodt easily tho. Need to see more of a fight then a one or two ep of fighting.

If Rukia didn’t immediately start lowering her temperature she would’ve lost straight away. Maybe she couldn’t activate her bankai in this state. Considering Renji discovered a true form of his bankai and Ichigo another sword, I think Rukia will have gained more in her training than being able to lower her temperature.

She can’t keep the temprerature or a long time. 4 seconds for absolute zero (0 kelvin). That’s why the other temps could be form a little longer to minutes. I’d like for her to have a Bankai, but thinking it realistically it’s impossible in such a short time.

Well I guess thats true. But I remember when Renji went to achieve Bankai and he did before Ichigo. Though he didn’t master it. So I do believe she has a Bankai. But yes she needs more training to activate it. Kinda similar to Isshins Zanpakuto. If he is injured while using Shikai he can’t use bankai because apparently Fire Type Bankai really damage the user. Shushkei Amagi had a Fire Type Zanpakuto and he ueed his Bankai to kill himself. Yamamotos Bankai gave him alots of burns after he killed Royd Loyd. Toshiro has a limit on how his Bankai works. Maybe its similar to Rukias Power. Guess Elemental Bankai really damage the user. Meele type Bankai usually leave the user weak to most attacks. Like Renjis former Bankai. Ikkaku, Sajin, and Maybe Ichigo and Zaraki. Kido type Bankais can do basically anything. There one of my favorites. And of course the less illusion type Bankai. Which we have yet to see but Aizen and Shinji have them. Whatever NaNaNas “U” stands for will probably show whats Renjis new Bankais weakness. Cause they all have them.

Does anyone else believe me when I say As Nodts “The Fear” is similar to illusion type Zanpakuto? I mean I think so. Spirit Weapons are very similar to Zanpakuto.

Well I don’t really know what the dome thing is suppose to be but eyes, but yeah, it’s less of a illusion and more of a chemical which released by As Nodt that directly attaches to nerves and disturbs, affecting and bringing out only horrific thoughts, calling this fear. Most likely different for the person that is affected.

Well I only called The Fear an illusion type cause As used its Reishu Thorns and black ink to cause fear. Shinjis Sakanade uses sweet scent to cause your sense of direction. They both use your senses to disturb something with you. So I just thought it was similar. Like Aizen uses your eye sight and Berneice uses hearing. But hopefully Byakuya had a way of fighting As Nodt.

I guarantee you that is not really Byakuya, 100:1 odds. It’s part of As Nodt’s illusion, and he’s going to kill the fake Byakuya to try and break Rukia.

I never thought of that. I mean Tatar Foras does use As’s opponents memories against them when they look at his fucking creepy as rolled up eyes. God As is scary! He has no fucking lips! And it looked like he had surgery or something! Anyway it doesn’t seem a little weird that Byakuya used his Shikai alone to break Tatar Foras. Who knows. I don’t believe Byakuya will kill As, but most likely defeat. Cause its only been like what 3 days? And it takes 9 days for The Quincy to destroy the universe. So maybe each invasion will get them close to the Soul King and Royal Guard . And later in Hueco Mundo and World of the living.

I thought today was one of the last few days where Shinigami’s power back up and attack. I don’t really know how many more days it’ll take but hopefully it doesn’t end so early.
