Madara Saved Obito Uchiha – Kage’s Nearly Dead – Naruto 601

Naruto 601 is a day early with some fantastic scenes! Madara shows up to say hello to Obito, we also find out that Madara will fight Naruto and Bee while Obito with Kakashi and Gai. We also know that all the Kage’s are in their near death conditions, Tsunade wants to help them. We finally find out that Madara had helped Obito when he was crushed by the rock!

Naruto 601 starts out as Kakashi and Gai notice that Madara Uchiha has finally arrived! Naruto is also overwhelmed by his arrival! Obito says to Madara that he defied the Edo Tensei and overcame it, just as Obito had predicted.

Naruto asks why the Madara that was fighting the Kage’s here. Madara quickly analysis the situation and asks himself where the real Naruto is because the current one is a Shadow Clone. We see that the real Naruto is below Bee’s transformed form. As Bee goes to say something, Naruto interrupts.

He asks what has happened to all the others. Madara doesn’t know what he’s talking about, Naruto gets angry and unleashes all his nine tails ripping apart all the rocks surrounding him. Madara replies that he doesn’t know, they’re probably not okay.

We see that All the 5 Kage’s have been defeated! All of them have received great injuries putting them between life and death! Tsunade wakes up for a little while and releases Kuchiyose No Jutsu which calls upon Katsuyu, Tsunade quickly asks a favor from Katsuyu.

As she goes to ask, Katsuyu quickly prepares to stick the body of Tsunade together as her feet and upper body have been completely separated by a large tree branch. Tsunade stops her and tells her to worry about that later. She now asks to bring the other Kage’s to where she is because she can help them.

Naruto removes the Seal Chains from Bee and directs them at both Obito and Madara. Obito quickly removes the Gunbai and gives it to Madara because it had originally belonged to Madara. Madara powers up quickly and at the point of connect from the Seal Chains, they are stopped by Madara’s Shield.

Bee thanks Naruto for removing the Chains as it restricted his movements, he says that now it’s his turn. We see a large tower building up while Obito and Madara talk. Madara asks Obito if he had started the project midway, before they could absorb the 8th and 9nth Tail.

Kakashi notices that Madara also knows about the plan, he asks himself if he could somehow be related to him. Madara tells Obito that he’s to haste, is that the reason why he was also revived in that form? Obito’s injuries seems to be repairing itself. Madara tells him that he guesses that he could have had some kind of plan.

Madara asks what had happened to Nagato because he was supposed to revive him in his perfect form. He should have been revived using the Rinne Tensei No Jutsu, at the right time. Obito tells him that he had betrayed them because he had used the Jutsu on the people of the village. Madara skips everything and dismisses what happened before because he’s still alive, he now decides to catch the Hachibi and Kyuubi.

Naruto jumps up in the air and uses one of his Mini Bijuu Dama to attack Madara. He shouts at Madara that he’s now dead and he shouldn’t meddle with them. He attacks Madara but he raises his Gunbai. The attack is nullified as it didn’t explode.

Madara attacks Naruto as he performs the Uchiha Gaeshi (Literally meaning Return of the Uchiha, or more literally Of The Fan). Naruto is pushed back and possibly injured by his own Bijuu Dama. He tells Obito that he’ll take care of Naruto and Bee, Obito should fight Gai and Kakashi.

Kakashi asks Obito what had happened to him, why did he even team up with Madara! Obito remembers the moment he woke up after the accident, he asks himself if he died. He asks a mysterious old man where he is, the old man answers that he’s between the living and dead world. This old man is likely to be Madara Uchiha himself! Naruto 601 ends here!

That was a fantastic chapter! We finally found out that Madara had saved Obito from the rock incident. He also somehow saved him by placing his whole body in bandage. It seems that his injuries had taken many years to heal because in the past we also saw him with many injuries. Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto 602 when we’ll get a better explanation of how Madara had saved Obito.

        Hmm Madara is on another level, even more powerful than Naruto and Bee! And since Naruto and Sasuke are somewhat evenly matched, it’s somewhat hard to see that he’ll win, but since Madara is an Edo Tensei subject, and Sasuke is an Uchiha, he may discover something that may help him defeat Madara…

      Yeah hopefully we’ll get to see the fight in the manga… and also Madara’s plan to use Nagato didn’t work but Kabuto was also used by Madara and Tobi… and yeah Naruto and Bee are going to have a hard time defeating them!

    Nice chapter but i have some questions:
    I hope someone answer them:
    1. Couldnt they use the edo tensei Nagato to revive Madara Uchiha?
    2. If Madara was that old at the time he saved Obito, then who helped Itachi to kill everyone from the Uchiha Clan?
    3. Are they fighting a Kagebinshin Madara or what happened exaclty did he leave the kage and head to where Obito was?
    Sry for my stupid questions but i havent read most of the chapters that are ahead of the anime 🙂

      1. Edo tensei Nagato was revived at the same time as Madara. It was never the plan to use Edo tensei as only the people he didn’t want in his plan could use it.
      2. Madara may have been old but look at Oonoki. Age in this anime makes no difference.
      3. It was depicted that the Kages are pretty much dead. I’m only confused as to what Tsunade means by taking their bodies (presumably still breathing) to where she was. I don’t get that. Is she not there on the battlefield?

        2. It was some time after we saw today… so it’s somewhat likely that Madara told the plan to Obito and he just needed to use Nagato to bring him back at the right time..

        3. She and the other Kage’s are scattered in the same area.. She said to get them near her so she could save them, she could heal them.. plus since her body has been split in half she’s unable to move… So she asks her summoning to help her..

      1. Well Kabuto is the person who chanted the Edo Tensei and he doesn’t know anything about Madara and Obito’s plan so it’s unlikely that Madara will tell Kabuto…
      2. Personally I think it was Obito because he would have also grown up a bit because time had passed from the time of the attack on the Village with Kurama
      3. No, Madara left the Kage’s in their near death state, but as he traveled time passed and he could have thought that they may have died so he said that they’re not okay.
      No it’s fine, some of us skip chapters to get to the best bits or just forget some old chapters, it happens 😛

        That’s ridiculous though. Why the fuck would Obito kill his own clan members. Ok, Itachi’s reason was obvious, but Obito and Madara hate Konoha, so why would they help Konoha and destroy their own clan!!!!

    Yeah, a pretty good chapter. Madara’s guitar must really be something if it can stop the Rasengan! It looks like Sasuke is gonna have to step in after all because Naruto and Bee can’t handle Madara

      It wasn’t the Rasengan, if im correct it was a Mini Bijuu Dama.. so possibly stronger than the Rasengan… and yeah the Gunbai is strong as hell! Didn’t expect it to be that strong, but then again.. that Gunbai did go up against the 1st Hokage..

    Prepare yourself for at leat 4 chaps of flashbacks. It will be really interesting to see this story and definetely put an end to any plot holes that are “active” right now.

    Gotta love Madaras line “Well probably they arent…doing that well” and “whats with people nowdays”. How more badass can you be seriously? They should blame their own misfortune for having rejected Madaras offer to just leave. They asked for it.

    The Uchiha fan is stronger then i thought. Pretty cool how it absorbed and returned the attack straight to Naruto. Him and Bee vs Madara will be an epic battle. So will Obito vs Kakashi and Guy.

      Hmm I think 4 chapters is a bit too much, i would be tired reading 4 chapters of Madara and Obito even if they are really interesting chapters… However if the plot holes are filled in less than 4 chapters ill be surprised because there’s quite a lot of them..

      Lol, those lines aren’t what i expect from such a character…. I expected for Madara to say something more darker and more evil-errrr lol, although he isn’t all that bad… so yeah I guess it’s badass for him 😛

      The first time I read the Uchiha Fan, i was like uh? Uchiha Fan? lol xD then I got that you meant the Gunbai which Madara has xD Yeah it’s pretty epic… I was surprised that Obito didn’t use it… Yeah agree the battles starting out is even more epic 😀 Only person missing now is Sasuke..

    The Riakage and the rest kages are all talk they couldnt even give Madara a scratch in battle, and to the extent that Madara left them almost dead It is a disgrace to the ninja nations combined. But as for Madara i think Naruto and Bee will come up with something and i also think we will be seeing sasuke soon. Why do all of you think Naruto and Sasuke will fight against Madara side by side have you all forgotten Naruto and Sasuke are enemies?

    I have some questions here…My point is that Madara is not the one who saved Obito,but somebody else.Here’s why:
    1)How does Obito and “young Madara” know each other,if he is really the one?The fact is Madara should have died from using his “Perfect Susano” which can be used only once and for a cost of casters life,Madara says it himself in the previous episodes when fighting Five Kage.
    2)If Madara died from using “Perfect Susano” as he says and we assume that the old guy from the next chapter which saved Obito is the Old Madara,then why does he not look old now?
    3)We know that real Madara was reanimated by Kabuto.Reanimation jutsu revives dead giving them live sacrifice body as a container and a shape,look of the revived one at the moment of their death…So my point is:Reanimated Madara should have looked old like that guy from the next episode,if they are really the same persons,because you can’t be revived 30 years old when you died 80 for example..Whats going on?
