Tobi’s mask was recently broken within the latest Naruto 598 manga chapter. We are very close to finding out who the real Tobi is behind the great and famous mask. We’ve already got some hints that it could be a number of characters within the Naruto World.
A lot of people have suggested that it could be Kakashi’s childhood friend, Obito, while others suggest that it could be Kagami Uchiha who participated in the First Shinobi World War. A minority of people think that it could be Izuna Uchiha, who was Madara’s brother. A small number of people also have hope that it could be Shisui.
Who do you think the person behind the mask is? Could it be Obito, Kagami or somebody else?

Well, I figured it could be a mantle. That the original Tobi was Madara and then the 4th took the mantle up. Maybe he overpowered the demon….it’s a super long shot, but I’ve had this theory for years. Ever since Tobi went all hardcore on us, so I want to stick to my theory…even if it’s probably wrong XD

alright you guys are way off it cant be any of these guys i tell you one person people never thought of the only logical sense is that tobi is obito’s father or brother maybe only possible sense because obito gave kakashi the eye and tobi letchers about kakashi having an borrowed eye and he is not an uchiha which would anger obitos father or brother and only family bloodlines can use the sharingan freely anytime not like kakashi who keeps it in an patch like danzou because there not an uchiha so this is the only possible answer

It’s a friend of Madara or it’s the First Hokage.
1st: His not a real person.When Minato attacked him,his arms melted. And when Danzo’s guard attacked him to he broke off his arm and it looked like a Zetsu but one with its own mind and technique’s!
2nd: When he showed Kabuto the Firt Hokage being created from the tissue he collected from his battle where he apparently died. Remember: You are only able to use Izanagi when you have both Senju and Uchiha power..
So I think his a prototype of the First Hokage,that didn’t want to show himself up till now because his ashamed of himself! There is only one Madara Uchiha and that’s the one fighting!

Hmm thats actually a good idea, it could certainly be a prototype. Plus Tobi’s arm melted like it was Zetsu or something.. Which could prove your theory so yeah I think you’ve got something there..

That’s what a lot of people think… I personally want it to be someone we know who was innocent but somehow changed as they grew up… Someone who seemed weak but had such awesome power.

I think the artist wanted it to look a little like Sasuke because they may believe that it could be somehow related to Sasuke himself… but truthfully, it’s the artists opinion..

Tobi could be a result for one of orochimaru’s experiment. orochimaru may have summoned obito and worked on him.

That could certainly have happened! But the thing about Tobi is that before Kabuto, he knew nothing about it the Edo Tensei… So it’s a good guess but it would be a bit of a long shot….
