Hiro Mashima has ‘Lots of Plans’ for Fairy Tail’s Manga Ending

Hiro Mashima, you may know him as the creator of Fairy Tail, has tweeted out on his personal account talking about the current future of the Fairy Tail franchise. In this tweet, he mentions “Even though the original manga is ending, I don’t think Fairy Tail is done just yet. I have a lot of plans, so please look forward to them.” The tweet can be seen below.

If you already didn’t know, Fairy Tail manga is ending. Hiro Mashima himself mentioned in the 61st Volume of the manga series that the there will be two more volumes to this series. And from the current view of the manga, it seems like Natsu vs Zeref is quickly approaching it’s climax scenes.

The 61st compiled volume revealed the end of the series, being the 63rd volume for the series. Hiro Mashima even mentioned that he’s excited about starting his new work, in which he wants to tell a new story with new characters in a brand new world.
