Naruto Shippuden 480 focuses on Naruto and Hinata’s and their childhoods as they figure out how to live life when they are currently so young. From having to find food without any friends or family to serving your clan and being able to show that you can become the next heir of the clan you represent.
Naruto Shippuden 480 begins with Naruto, he stands on top of Minato’s head as he looks up at the sky. He walks past town and hears that everyone is just trying to avoid him, he tries to get some food but cannot as he doesn’t have any money. He even passes Sasuke who hears that Minato’s death was caused by Naruto.
Naruto goes home, but then goes back out, he trains for a couple of hours then tries to find some food. He catches some fish and mushroom, he begins to cook it all up that night. Hiruzen shows up and tries to join in, his stomach growls and both each together. He tells Naruto that the stars in the sky are of all the suns, to which means that everyone is so small compared to the whole world.
Naruto once again climbs Minato’s head and jumps to the village. Next up, we see Hinata’s story, we begin with Neji who is currently practising, he fights on and on against his dad to practice. After a while, Neji asks about Hinata, to which after a bit it begins to snow. Next day it’s Hinata’s third birthday. He finally meet her.
They fight a little to practice to see who is stronger. After a while, they get time alone which allows them to talk as Hinata mentions that she doesn’t want to fight, she doesn’t like taijutsu. Hinata goes on to see all the snow that is next to her, she also see’s Neji’s inspiration and how he is with his dad. Next thing, we see Neji’s dad death ceremony.
She runs off, runs and runs until she meets a young Naruto. Naruto helps her out as he tries to make her feel better. He takes her to her house, he mentions that he doesn’t have anyone, thus he doesn’t have to cry. Hinata is told that she is important as she is the heir of the Hyuga clan, people have given their lives for her. Naruto Shippuden 480 ends here.
A pretty good episode, seems like these will only focus on the start of each main character. Seems like we’ll get Sasuke and Sakura’s story in next week’s Naruto Shippuden 481, titled “Sasuke and Sakura”, should be good to see what happens.
