Kakashi’s Journey to Team 7 – Naruto Shippuden 360

Naruto Shippuden 360 is everything before Team 7, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, met the glorious Kakashi. We learn about how Kakashi’s methodology of picking a team he can create goes deep within his heart where he uses it in order to confirm if the team he has now is ready to move on with him. He goes through two groups, failing both groups, while the next groups will include Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura who we’ve seen before.

Naruto Shippuden 360 begins we see Kakashi being invited by Guy to eat some dumplings to which Kakashi is unaware and is only thinking about how he’s not a Jonin Leader. He remembers the moment when Obito got late to introducing themselves, Obito introduces himself and says that he wants to become a Hokage.

Minato says that he wants to see their teamwork and thus wants them to get the bells off his hands. Kakashi has the same exact practice method to which he has three students with him, none of which match the way he wants them to be. Obito, Rin and Kakashi all pass.

We see Kakashi looking at Minato, he must come up with a plan to get the bells, he works with the others in order to use a a strategy and a formation. They circle Minato and jump around him. Kakashi begins with his own students, they try individually and see that they’re not using teamwork at all. He wonders that Minato failed to see that Kakashi’s teamwork was not that at all, he was just using them.

Kakashi notices that they’re not using teamwork and thus all fight each other forgetting about Kakashi altogether. Kakashi appears and fails all of them. Hiruzen watches Kakashi and mentions that he still has a darkness within him. Kakashi wakes up at night to notice that he won’t let anyone pass until good teamwork is shown.

Guy faces Neji, Lee and Tenten to which they’re all beaten down, however all fight right to the end and are quickly given a hug and told that they pass. They all rest and talk about being lucky that they didn’t get Kakashi as he has his own criteria, Guy knows it is Kakashi.

Kakashi’s next group are a group of brothers where they talk about food, there being two plates but three students, one of which is tied up. The two begin eating to which one of left without eating. Kakashi notices this and mention that they may have followed the rules however above all they should have known to share. They’re failed.

Guy asks his students about if they want to enter the Chunin Exams, to which they all mention that they’re not there yet and thus will do it when time is good. Guy cries that his students are making him really happy. Kakashi walks by to which he notices them asking but walks off.

Guy and the others talk about how they asked Hiruzen to move Kakashi from the ANBU to become a Jonin Leader, but it seems that they may have made a bad thing. Hiruzen appears, he sits down for a cup of tea. He treats them as kids. Kakashi walks by to which he’s introduced by his past students who have completely changed.

They thank him for teaching him this lesson and will try next year. They’re grateful to him.  Hiruzen speaks to Guy and the others that he will most likely learn these lessons and he has three special students who will most likely work with Kakashi, these being Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura! Naruto Shippuden 360 ends here.

A really good episode, and a great build up to how Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke will meet up with Kakashi. Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto Shippuden 361, titled “Squad Seven”, when we see the meeting between them as well as a few words from Hiruzen himself to Kakashi about who Naruto really is.
