Fairy Tail 372 gets epic as the infamous Natsu meets the grand antagonist Zeref. A very surprising turn of events brings him into the picture as Zeref mentions that he’s been wanting to meet him for some time now. Erza locks up Kyouka but it doesn’t affect her as she breaks out and tries to attack but Erza counter attacks and changes cloths to allow her to quickly and completely destroy Kyouka using a spear like weapon which begins at the top of the cube and cuts through the whole cube creating a hole for Fairy Tail members at the  bottom to go to the top. 

Fairy Tail 372 begins as Kyouka is quickly tied up by Erza. Erza’s face shows that she’s about to pay her back well. Natsu asks where Elfman and Mira are to which Kyouka mentions she has no idea who Elfman is but Mira is two floors above them, although it might be too late to save her. Erza tells Natsu and Lisanna to gave and look for Mira and save her.

Erza asks what were the vibrations she had heard a while back to which Kyouka mentions that it was an indication of the Seal of Face breaking.  Kyouka reveals to Erza that Jellal was not killed, another sort of magic was used to allow this. Erza asks what use she has for using Face, to which Kyouka mentions that it is for the return of Zeref!

Moments later Kyouka breaks out of the restrains mentioning that it only blocks magic and not curses which is what they use. Erza blocks her first attack and kicks Kyouka back, Erza mentions that they’re all just blind devotees to Zeref. Kyouka mentions that they’re all books written by the love of Zeref and thus from these books they were born.

Kyouka mentions that naturally they’re devoted to Zeref, Erza mentions that it does not matter as you should have the decisions in this matter, humans also have the ability to devote themselves to such a thing, however what is important is to not lose yourselves and runaway. Erza changes into an epic outfit holding a massive spear like weapon which gets Kyouka in a massive and extremely awesome attack!

At the bottom of the cube we see Gray and the others keep on fighting endless numbers of minions from which Juvia kicks off a man who nearly got a hit on Gray. Others keep on fighting hard. Makarov also gets massive, they’re all battling a losing battle by which they also have to protect Laxus and the others who were previously affected.

Cana shouts at Elfman for him to get into gear and get it on point and begin attacking back, to which he begins to get courage to fight. They all keep on fighting trying to get an edge and find a way to move from their current position to which Gray notices a crack on the floor and quickly sees Erza and Kyouka come out of this space while Kyouka seems to have been severed by Erza’s attack.

Everyone notices this breach and find some hope. Natsu and Lisanna keep on walking when minions find them, Lisanna is told to keep on looking for Mira. Natsu quickly and swiftly defeats them, however seconds later everything freezes in a dark, Natsu doesn’t know whats happening. Someone appears to which is revealed to be Zeref! Zeref mentions that he did make it this far, he knew Natsu would. He reveals that this is Zeref’s bookshelf Tartarus, a city where his books live. Fairy Tail 372 ends here.

What a fantastic chapter, Natsu meets the notorious Zeref, and within such a situation we’ll definitely see some fights to which it’s most likely that Zeref will obliterate but not kill Natsu. Can’t wait to see what happens during next week’s Fairy Tail 373, titled “To Let Live or Let Die”.
