Naruto Shippuden 346 shows us that Obito after all the fighting that he embraces Rin and mentions that using Madara’s plan he will allow himself to bring her back. We see Madara’s plan of coming back to life when Obito see’s as meets Nagato, Konan and Yahiko. After some time Akatsuki is formed from early members to which Obito is not yet a part of. 

Naruto Shippuden 346 begins as Obito kills all the remaining people in the surrounding area. He notices Kakashi’s body and remembers what Madara had told him about light and darkness. He leaves Kakashi to where he is and walks over to Rin. She’s lying there, he tries to hold her but his hand goes straight through.

He holds her again and embraces her thinking of a way to bring her back. He mentions that he’ll create a world where they can both exist. Kakashi is just there. He returns to Madara mentioning that he’s come back. He no longer cares for what had happened. He no longer cares for Kakashi too.

Madara tells him to come near him and look into his eye. He begins by telling him that he’s created a blank canvas to which anything is possibly to which Madara even shows his young self to Obito. He mentions that he’ll be using the moon to cast the genjutsu to achieve this.

He also mentions that he’ll be using the Ten Tails, to which he would like to gather all the tailed beasts. Once he was old he was able to get the Rinnegan to which it allowed him to see all the secrets from a seal stone, he was able to obtain the Gedo Mazo which is described to be the husk of the Ten Tails.

He was able to use the Gedo Statue to create Zetsu’s, the Rinnegan also cannot be awakened unless someone has both the Uchiha and Senju powers. Senju cells will be able to control the Gedo Mazo and thus will help him to do so. Obito finds Yahiko, Nagato and Konan to which he approaches them and mentions that he’d like to quickly talk, he tells them he’s Madara Uchiha.

We go back to the past to which Madara shares his will on a Zetsu that was there. Madara also creates black rods which are from his will. Obito see’s that Madara is just about to die to which he mentions that he will see him again when he’s revived.

Nagato quickly see’s that he’s bluffing and he mentions that he’s there to show Nagato the way, he’s the reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths to which he tells him the same message which Madara had told Obito. From this Nagato mentions that they’re not prepared to help and join with him. As they leave, Obito tells Nagato that he’ll be there every evening waiting for him to come back.

We see a group of soldiers approach a village to which Nagato, Yahiko and Konan appear to which they block any and all attacks from the soldiers. They all fight and step back to which they talk. He mentions that he’d like to protect all villages.

They’d like to keep peace through negotiations and not violence. The people leave and mention that they may come back again. Night falls and they see the men again to which they mention that they no longer wish to fight and want it to stop. They mention that they’d like to join up with them.

They do so and the man is told to look at any other village around the area who need their help. While later, Yahiko is asked that they need a name for the group, which is Akatsuki. While later they begin to get more and more members. People who are tired of war usually join up. They look for Konan to which a message is sent from a man to Konan to which Yahiko doesn’t like.

He goes outside and see’s what she’s doing with the man, they speak it out while Yahiko watches. Nagato also join in, Konan notices them and mentions that he knows that they’re their and tells them to come out. They again begin to train as partner, it seems they both like each other. Nagato watches. Naruto Shippuden 346 ends here.

A great chapter with a lot of action happening in the episode, plus Obito changing from being all excited to fight with Kakashi to going crazy and fighting and killing others. Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto Shippuden 347, titled “Creeping Shadow” when we learn a lot more about the past of the Akatsuki and how Obito crippled them.
