A hour-long crossover television anime special episode will air on Sunday 7th April 2013 at 9:00 am which includes One Piece, Dragon Ball Z and Toriko. It is part of the “Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Chō Collaboration Special!!” which has many fans jumping in excitement. The two following ads preview Toriko Episode 99 and One Piece Episode 590:

Without spoiling the story, the hour-long special is of the Toriko’s International Gourmet Organisation sponsoring the “Tenkaichi Shokuokai”, which is a merciless race with no rules, it also includes some of Dragon Ball Z’s Tenkaichi Budokai tournament which could determine who the strongest of the three franchises really is, Toriko, Goku or Luffy?
The characters involved in this crossover include:
One Piece: Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Sanji, Zoro, Franky, Robin and Usopp.
Toriko: Toriko, Sunny, Zebra, Coco, Komatsu, Rin and Setsuno.
Dragon Ball Z: Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Kame Sennin, Android No. 18, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krilin, An Announcer and Mr. Satan.

Definitely going for Goku in the power contest. In the eating one…I think Toriko may have this and for speed, I’m going with Goku. Definitely going to be a fun special! 😀

Definitely, Luffy’s pretty strong and fast as well, plus he can definitely eat a lot of meat! For Power and Speed I’d put him in 2nd above Toriko, but under Goku. For eating it would be tricky because they can all eat a lot, but I think Toriko may have the edge (After all he’s in a food anime) but I definitely won’t count Luffy out! 🙂
