The last fight of Day two begins between Kagura Mikazuchi vs Yukino Agria, they make a pretty serious wager. Arcadios and Lucy as well as everyone else find out that Yukino Agria is able to use Celestial Spirits specially those which are very strong. Yukino looses the match to find out that she is now under Kagura because of the wager. Arcadios’s Eclipse Plan seems to go on a head due to the fact that there are now two Stellar Mage’s.

We start of the chapter as Kagura Mikazuchi is chosen from Mermaid Heel and Yukino Agria from Sabertooth. Everyone cheers because it’s another fight between two beauties. Sting asks Yukino Agria if she knows the meaning to be on Sabertooth. She must not lose because this would mean that they’d lose their spot as one of the best guilds.

They both approach the field and the battle begins.Yukino asks Kagura if she wants to make a wager. Kagura refuses but when Yukino asks for a wager on their lives. Kagura accepts because the honor dictates that she accepts.

Yukino starts the match as she opens the Gate of the Paired Fish! Lucy, Arcadios and everyone else see’s that she’s also a Celestial Mage just like Lucy. The current gate she opened is one of the 12 Golden Zodiac Gates. Pisces!

As they come for the attack, Kagura jumps and the fishes miss her. In no time, Yukino opens a second gate when she opens the Gate of the heavenly Scales, Libra. Libra uses her magic to increase the mass of Kagura’s body to increase the gravity rendering her useless as she’s too heavy.

As the Pisces Spirits come for the attack, she nullifies to gravity on her body because one of her comrades on Lamia Scales had taught her about Gravity Transformation Magic.  Yukino asks if she should open her 13th Door.

Lucy notices what she had said, Lucy explains that there are only 12 Golden Zodiac Gates with 12 Keys, a long time ago a rumor there was a Spirit which was hidden away from the 12 Golden Zodiac Gates.

Yukino pulls out a key and chants for the Gate of the Snake Charmer to open, Ophiuchus. Kagura within an instant runs towards the snake, within an instant she opens her sword, Blade of Resentment – Archenemy. The snake’s head is seen to be all busted even when her sword has not been undrawn, Style of the Undrawn Long Sword.

Kagura gets really close to Yukino and calls her wager cheap because she’s easily able to win. She uses the same technique and within a moment Yukino falls down with shock. The match ends here as Kagura wins!

Kagura reminds Yukino of the wager and that her life is now Kagura’s. Yukino respects the wager and as she cries she submits to Kagura. As the sun falls across the horizons, Day 2 ends. Arcadios is happy to see the heavenly luck he’s getting because there being a second Celestial (Stellar) Mage. At this point, Jellal can’t notice anything unusual from his Mystogan costume. Fairy Tail 280 ends here.

That was an amazing fight, we’ve now learnt that the power Arcadios wants isn’t just Lucy’s but the magic that lies within a the Stellar Mage. Next week’s Fairy Tail 281, titled Malice is Concealed by the Curtain of Night sounds interesting. We’ll have to wait a week to see what’s up!
