We finally found out who the real master mind behind the Vandenreich is. The leader, a man with long black hair, says he hates war, and wants to hear their report for the sake of peace. They go to their empire which is massive made of ice.

The chapter starts out with the masked men repeating their declaration of war on the Soul Society. Yamamoto then goes to save his lieutenant, Sasakibe. The masked men then boast on how he should know who they really are as it’s easy for him to guess. As they say farewell, Yamamoto shouts wait and unleashes a fire storm which reaches out of his chambers.

A black shadow looking person walks in front of the men, and in an instant, they vanish from the whole of the Soul Society. Their reiatsu had disappeared from seireitei, which means that their movements are not affected by the shakonmaku. As the Sasakibe wakes up, he has a need to tell him something.

He say’s “They can Bankai”, but personally, I’m not sure if the translator had done a good job doing this. Personally i feel that it should say “They can take away bankai’s”. After Sasakibe mentions this, the reaction on Yamamoto’s face is terrifying as I’ve never seen him with such a surprised face.

We return to where Ichigo is, Ivan mention’s that Ichigo’s Bankai had not vanished. Surprised Ichigo looks at Ivan, with the “what do you mean?” face. Ichigo says that he doesn’t care about him, but what had recently happened is important, so he wanted him to come with him somewhere.

A black figure approaches Ivan, he says not to worry since it only hides the chosen ones. At this quick moment, they are gone. Ichigo thinks of how they could have just vanished, they didn’t even use a Garganta which is usually used by the Arrancar’s.

We return to the hideout which they are all within. The scenery seems to be icy, with large towers in the background which looks as though there are many other places within this place. The leader of the 7 member pack takes his cloak off and thus we can see his face. He has 6 rings on his face, which could corresponds to some kind of member tagging. Half of his hair is a light color while the other half is a dark color.

He see’s Ivan bowing before someone, but just thinks that he’s being bowed at. Ivan replies as though he would never bow at him as they seems to both have a destructive past, basically they hate each other.

A man in the background says “stop it” and suddenly cuts Ivan’s right arm in an instant, with no effort. It doesn’t seem to be a clean slice, but actually seems to be more of a wave as an attack, somehow the person who did this is able to do this without moving.

The King’s empire who sits on the large chair, mentions that he doesn’t like to fight. He then says that, for the sake of peace he wants to hear their report. The chapter ends here. To me this seems as though, in their icy world there could be a lot of chaos and peace-less. Therefore they had blamed the Soul Society for this, thus their plan on destroying them in 5 days.

That was a fantastic episode. Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 485. The Empire’s Leader seems to be really damn powerful, so want to see if he can compare with Yamamoto or even any of the captains.
