Fairy Tail 382 arrives in late this week as Fairy Tail get themselves in a large amount of trouble where the Demon King Marde Guille himself activates Alegria whereby the large cube begins to transform and change. Every single Fairy Tail member have been frozen except for one unfortunate member, Lucy, she escaped Alegria and is now the only member left and is Fairy Tail’s last hope to save all of them. 

Fairy Tail 382 begins as Kyouka approaches Marde Guille to mention that Fairy Tail are stronger then they first anticipated. Face has failed plus Ezel and Franmalth have been felled. It seems that Sayla and Hell’s Core has suffered too. Kyouka mentions to do something to which Marde mention that he cannot.

Marde mentions that they lack the curse power required in order to revive their master, if they cannot get rid of magic, there is no point in reviving END. Kyouka mentions that Face has failed, while Marde mentions that it seems that she cannot see the bigger picture.

He goes onto mention that everything at that point is worthless, he mentions that he’s a perfect tactician and in the grander scheme of things, the destruction of Face is but a minor bump in the road. He tells her not to worry, the plan will fall into place. Marde asks Kyouka what they are.

Kyouka mentions that they are demons from the book of Zeref, Etherias. Their goal is to revive their master END and return to Zeref’s feet. She goes on to call humans beneath insects. Marde enables restrictions on Kyouka locking her down to which he punishes her for having Erza but toying with her.

Marde mentions that Kyouka might be a little fond of humans, to which she says that she isn’t while at the same time she is hurt in an intense way. Marde mentions that it pains him to think that she is playing with creatures lower than bugs, think of this as he punishment, not her consequence for playing with humans but for the pain it’s caused Marde.

She understands and Marde mentions that it doesn’t matter in the larger scheme of things however it seems that they’ve dirtied his garden. He suggests to use Alegria. Lucy and Natsu are up to which Lucy mentions that Gray is behind them while Mirajane is somewhere on that floor.

They receive a call from Warren, he tells everyone that Mirajane is safe with them. Lucy asks for Warren to connect to everyone to which she mentions that Wendy and Carla have stopped face, they’ve crushed the enemies plan. Happy asks for Warren to connect to Makarov, to which he mentions that Hades’ soul showed up.

He said that Tartarus isn’t done yet and that he said to release the light. Makarov thinks of what this could to be to which we see that it may be the Lumen Histoire! Makarov shouts to which Warren tells him not to shout, Happy mentions that he doesn’t know.

Seconds later we see Warren scream out load to which it seems that there is a noise going around Warren’s head. A new voice talks, it seems that Marde has invaded into Warren’s telepathy, he introduces himself and mentions that there is no need for them to remember the name.

He tells them that they won’t live till tomorrow, then quickly activates Alegria. The cube begins to transform into some kind of different shape to which the ground begins to change and lose shape beneath Fairy Tail members. They also begin to get captured by the ground.

Even Lucy and Natsu are split apart, Minerva tries to attack Erza but can’t as she’s already frozen. It seems that their bodies are being captured by the ground itself. Kyouka mentions that their own soldiers are being captured. Marde mentions the words corrosion and sacrifice, death and rebirth, despair and hope.

The cube in which everyone is in have completely changed into a beast with teeth’s and large tentacle like objects. It now seems to be called the Demon King Beast. Everyone notices a life still alive, while everyone is frozen, Lucy is still alive, she has no idea where she is. Marde mentions that she has a large likelihood of not being affected, however it’s her misfortune that she’s alive. Fairy Tail 382 ends here.

Even if we got a little bit of a late chapter, I’m happy to see the chapter come out at all. Plus it’s nice to see that Fairy Tail, or more precisely Lucy has been given the mission in order to save the whole Guild from such a powerful force. Can’t wait for next week’s Fairy Tail 383, titled “Surfing Lucy”.
