Dragon Ball fans should be happy today as a fantastic piece of fan made video game was posted online titled “Hyper Dragonball Z”, to which a fantastic game is shown.  It’s based on a 90’s styled arcade game whereby popular Dragon Ball characters fight each other in this immense and wonderful game. Check out the impressive demo trailer down below. 

The animation plus the Dragon Ball Z fighting style’s is just something that will be universally loved. On top of that the crazy characters and fights is just epic. However if you believed this was an actual downloadable game, I’m sorry, it’s not. In fact this is not a game.

EDIT: This is actually a game, there is a demo version available to play, although it’s still in very early stages and only some characters are available. If you go to the video description on YouTube, you will be able to download it.

The video itself is work by many amazing fans of the series, they used a fighting game engine, Mugen, to put all of this together, with the help of Team Z2, they put all the code and animations together. The video’s description mentions that many official and unofficial games left them wanting more, so they used the idea’s from Street Fighter and Darkstalker, and adapted those ideas into something epic when they included Dragon Ball Z!

They expect Dragon Ball Z games to be epic, including characters with their own personalities, powers and even their traits. They go into mentioning that they are not licensed by the makers of DBZ, however if they did they would be able to make this project come to life as they expect these games to be this epic. They have a great team of amazing people who have made this come true, I hope something like this will come to us real soon.
