Bleach 573 shows the returns of the strongest Shinigami, Zaraki Kenpachi, who has finally now inherited the “Kenpachi” name, he begins his fights with what seems to be the strongest Stern Ritter within the Quincy! Isane finds out that Unohana has died by his hands, she feels relief as he’s inherited her name. The deadliest battle is about to begin as Gremmy quickly sets up a stage for them to fight in.
Bleach 573 as everyone notices that Zaraki has arrived, even Yachiru seems to be shocked at this and that he’s here. Isane asks how Unohana is, he quickly mentions that she is dead, she falls over while Zaraki mentions that she was killed by him, he hated her thus it shouldn’t matter if he killed her.
Isane mentions that she’s glad that since he killed her he should inherit her name, he mentions says yes to this. Gremmy appears mentioning that he’s a Kenpachi from Zaraki. He mentions that Zaraki looks strong just like he imagined. The ground begins to change and a large fortress like square building is created.
The two captains seem to have fallen off, Isane chases after them. Gremmy mentions that the stage is finally set, he mentions that he is Zaraki Kenpachi, it would be rude for him not to grace him with such a magnificent stage. Zaraki asks if this is some kind of magic or illusion to which Gremmy mentions that it’s not and is reality.
He mentions that he can turn fantasies into reality, he introduces himself as “The Visionary”. He mentions that he’s pretty lucky to fight him because of all the Stern Ritter’s there is no one stronger than him. He’s Stern Ritter V, Gremmy Thoumeaux.
Zaraki quickly jumps into action and sarcastically saying he doesn’t say. Zaraki strikes Gremmy with his sword but it doesn’t cut. Gremmy mentions that he turns his fantasies into reality, in this world the strongest power is the power of imagination, as an example he mentions just before Zaraki tried to cut him he turned his body into the hardest steel.
Zaraki pushes harder and strikes Gremmy, he mentions that if he’s harder than the toughest steel than he should have mentioned it sooner, then he would’ve planned to cut steel from the start. The cut Zaraki gets on him pushes Gremmy down while he bleeds a little.
Zaraki mentions that he doesn’t like the look on his face, did he imagine that he wouldn’t cut him. Zaraki quickly tells him that inside his imagination of his, there is nothing that can stop him and what he can cut due to the fact that he is a Kenpachi! Bleach 573 ends here.
A short chapter but a great one at that, Kenpachi seems to have finally inherited the power that I love to see him bring out. Plus I wonder what had happened with his zanpakuto and their chat. I’d like to see what had happened there soon. Nevertheless, I can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 574, when we see the fight continue between these two fighters.

Too be honest. I don’t believe that Guremi is the strongest SternRitter. I mean we need to see all of the SternRitter fight first, than I will see. Plus I believe Giselle is stranger than him. I mean Yhawch is A. So he is probably strongest. But I believe Z has a similar effect as well.

I don’t think the letters mean anything except that they help to identify the Stern Ritter’s. Gremmy seems to be strong, and Imagination is definitely a strong power, and he can take out people just by using his imagination so it’s definitely a power to not judge quickly.

True. All I meant was that he thinks he’s the strongest. I just want to see the other SternRitter battle and clarify that statement. Many people believe Z is a special letter like A is. And some say Giselle used her power and absorbed Bambiettas Reyioku. I don’t know though. Because some were disappointed that Giselle was Z. But than they call this Guremi immensely strong. Which he seems so. So some people are a little sexist about Giselle. Just because she acts funny sometimes doesn’t make her weak. Guremi acts like a kid and he is. But he can hold his own against Zaraki. So this double standard sucks. Someone told that Guremi is stronger than Giselle. I just don’t see that. Sorry for ranting XD

Yeah exactly, there is something about those girls that makes me uneasy, they may think that Bambietta is strong but I’m sure there is one of them which is crazy, possibly in Z. Just like rank 0 in the Arrancar Arc, he was ultimately strong but has multiple weaknesses. Haha I love rants 😛

Oh you do!? Well I’m an expert on rants! Yes Giselle mostly gives me unease. I mean she said she didn’t want to use her Vollständig because it tires her out fast. That’s really the only hint to her power. Plus maybe Yachiru and Isane will fight on of the SternRitter Women Squad!

Well Kisuke Urahara, too be honest I believe Giselle, Menines, Lilioto, and Candice will probably fight either Hiyori, Mashiro, and Riza. Or Isane, Yachiru, Rangiku, and Rukia. That’s what I think. And Jugram will fight Shunsui. And his Female Quincy aide with pitch black eyes might fight Nanao or maybe Yoruichi. Plus I believe Askin Nakk Le Varr fought Joshiro in the first invasion. Personally I believe Kisuke will battle Askin. His Character design is extremely similar to Aizen.

Ah, well I agree w/ a lot of that and those are really good match ups, however, since Askin Nakk Le Varr, seems to be “interested” in Mayuri, I believe he will fight him.
I also think he never left, I guess he’s still waiting for a chance to attack? But since both Mayuri and Kisuke are in the same place, it might end up w/ this: both 12th division captains fight the Sternritter “D” (I also guess it means, “Deception”?)
But that’s just me, anyway, I really like your ideas ^_^

Thanks! I like yours too Kisuke. Well the SternRitter that attacked the 12th Division was Yajima who was controlling Jindanbo and Shaz who was attacking Akon. So I believe Askin is with Yajima and Shaz waiting to attack them. Bet they were impressed by Kisuke creating the Hollow Reyioku pill for everyone. But like Bambietta said, they have Vollständig, the equivalent of Bankai. So my mat h ups in these battles are Askin vs Kisuke, Mayuri vs Yajima and Nemu vs Shaz. I really wanna see NaNaNa battle Renji. Personally I think NaNaNa will defeat Renji. Something about him observing Renji makes me wonder.

I think you’re misinterpretting here. Given the hierarchy, Gremmy obviously means Yhwach and Haschwalth are excluded.
Bad guys wouldn’t state something so factual-like if they weren’t telling the truth or confident (with backbone to prove). I see Yhwach, Haschwalth, Uryu, Gremmy, an Giselle as the 5 strongest, the 4 latter in no particular order.

Actually I did mean very Quincy in the SternRitter. Because technically, Yhawch is not a SternRitter. That hasn’t been specified yet. Like Quilge is not a SternRitter, but he has a letter and yes SternRitter level Reyioku. Plus I believe the 6 SternRitter other than Yhawch that is Senior Captain level is Jugram, Gremmy, Giselle, Royd, Askin, and mr. Shirt and tie guy. Yes enemies would say the truth cause of confidence. But sometimes enemies are arrogant and Consider themselves superior. Grimmjow always thought he was stronger than Ulquiorra. Obviously he isn’t. Noritora considers himself stronger than Neliel. Which I believe he is not. Mainly because transforming into her true form after god knows how long, her body was still absorbing Reishi from deep in Las Noches to gain her full power. So some enemies are full of themselves. Though I can see that Gremmy is Senior Captain level. But saying he is the full strongest?? Well most likely not in my opinion.

Hmm I’m sure Gremmy has more worth then that. He seems to be looking up to Zaraki in a way that he’s also happy to fight him. He won’t imagine him dead because that’s just impossible and this may be the limitation to his power.

Ya. If an opponent has Reyioku greater than Guremi, than maybe they can negate some of Guremi’s imagination. Like most illusion types abilities. Like Aizens Shikai. Unohana cou tell the difference between Aizen and his illusion. But not completely. I am disappointed to know that Unohana is really dead. But I will like to see flash backs of her and Yamamoto battling Quincy 1000 years ago.

Oh know. I didn’t mean Unohana vs Yamamoto. Though I’m sure they did at one point. I meant Unohana, Yamamoto, and the other original Gotei 13 Captains. ( aka my own list of potential first members. Shunsui, Joshiro, Ichibuei, Shutara, Oetsu, Kirio, Tenjiro, Genrei, Girioko, Chikane, and maybe Sajins great grandfather??) Just guessing. Oh! And maybe Yoruichi’s great grand father or mother who founded the Onmitsukido and 2nd Division.

Oh wow, that would be great, just that list. I’d love to see a whole arc on the past and how it was formed, what they had to go through and how they fought and all their powers. It could even go as far as to make another series. Nevertheless I’d love to see bit and bobs of the past. As you’ve explained some members, I’d love to see them young and fighting.

Thanks! I also can guess that the Quincy that survived the first 1000 year Blood War 1000 years ago, along with Yhawch, are the Quincy that the Royal Guard will fight. Just a thought. Cause Yhawch is immensely powerful, but I doubt he can take on the entire Royal Guard by himself.

I don’t think the Royal Guards will fight any time soon. If the whole of Seireitei falls and only some captains are left then Royal Guards are in trouble. The King will most likely have to show himself and show his power. I hope that this isn’t going to happen any time soon, hopefully the chapters arc will be a very, very long one.

I agree about the Royal Guard Sunite. Because I bet later the Quincy will advance to the Soul king Palace. I mean they took over Hueco Mundo, destroyed the Seireitei, than swith the Seireitei with the Vandereich ( which I assume is the capital of the Schatten Bereich) So eventually the Quincy will effect the World of the Living and finally the Soul King Palace. But I’m sure that will take like 2 or 3 years! Maybe less!

Isane herself knew that it was going to happen. I’d like to see what exactly happened during that time when she was defeated and the talk with the Zanpakuto, but yeah I’m upset she’s dead but not mad because she helped create the Zaraki he is now.

Ya true. Without Unohana and The Art of Killing she created. Zaraki couldn’t fight the most powerful Quincy. Not talking about Guremi. Just saying any Quincy he comes across at this point. Actually if Unohana didn’t create The Art of Killing, none of the Shinigami can achieve the full potential of them and their own Zanpakuto. They wouldn’t be strong enough to fight these advanced Quincy

is it just me or does kenpachi look even more badass,i mean look at his eye patch looks different than before, maybe it had tobe modified since he hasgotten a whole lot stronger,i also think that we are gonna learn the name of his zanpakuto i hope it has powerful abilities,and greatly enhances his power,speed and reflexes, i also hope he still holds back like he used to because the coolest thing about him has always been the way his power greatly ncreases when removed his eyepatch

Well Zaraki is badass but it’s a shame unohana is dead cos we never saw much of her abilities and she is a legend. So a new legend is born in Zaraki. Can’t see how this blond kid is the most powerful. From Zaraki response this looks like a battle of minds. Am not sure if we will actually see Zaraki full power.

Dude what if, Zaraki meant that Zenpachi Yachiru is dead, but Retsu Unohana is alive?? Ya’ll know what I mean? Like that part of her life is dead, but the persona she had been for what, like 800-900 years? Maybe she will come Back with her traditional breaded hair. Who knows. I man can still hope!

Ha! Really me?! XD. I’m flattered but I doubt I could be strong if I was a Shinigami or Quincy. I took a Zanpakuto test online and I got Kaien Shiba’s Zanpakuto, Nejibana. Which is my personal favorite zanpakuto. Cause I’m a pices, I love water and the ocean. I wish Kaien achieved Bankai. What is your favorite Zanpakuto Sunite? You are much more powerful than me! ; )

Cool! I think I have always been a Quincy at heart. I mean I really believe lots of Pagan beliefs like my mom. Which I kinda consider the Quincy Pagans. They believe every single being and object has a soul. And in bleach the Soul is I think either Reyioku or Reishi. Plus these Quincy don’t show there strength by their appearance or Reiatsu. They do edmite Reitsu like other bejngs. But they don’t use it to fight. But you already know that! Plus I like the Quincy Spirit Weapons. There powers are so amazing!

You have to just accept the fact that Unohana is DEAD, Shunsui even stated that one of them would have to die, Zaraki emerging the victor means that Unohona died by his hand. Accept it and move on

Well it just sucks. Because for example, Byakuya was defeated by As Nodt. Everyone thought he truly died. Which I believed as well and excepted his death because it really impacted everyone. Than we found out he is alive and being shown fighting more Quincy. While Retsu, a character never truly shown fighting finally does, but only to make Zaraki stronger. To me, that seems extremely unfair to her. I was expecting her to battle Quincy with Zaraki. So some people can’t truly excepted her death yet. And I kinda can’t either. Because Zaraki is powerful, but without Retsu’s help, how will Zaraki achieve Bankai? We all know he needs both Shikai and Bankai to fight the most powerful Quincy. So we can still hope.
