Naruto Shippuden 350 repeats some parts however shows a whole different point of view from Kakashi’s view. We primary follow Kakashi doing ANBU work by which he’s ordered to follow and keep Kushina safe from a distance for around 10 months. During this time he grows up, when the time is near we see Obito show up whilst Kakashi sets flowers for Rin. He throws them away, then causing chaos, at the end we see Kakashi turn to Danzo’s side by which he gets to see a wood user who we know as Yamato! 

Naruto Shippuden 350 begins with Minato sitting and talking to a bunch of ANBU personnel by which he tells them that he doesn’t want to be controlled by any other village, they will cause problems and thus he wants them to keep on protecting the village. Kakashi is also there to listen to what he says. We see Kakashi use his Chidori to practice on hay dummy’s to kill without thinking about what he did to Rin.

At an outpost we see a few ninja’s being attack by what seems to be Stone ninja’s. They quickly attack while the Leaf ninja’s mention that they don’t want to break their treaty. The ANBU show up with Kakashi with them, the stone quickly disperses, it seems that the shuriken used was done from the Stone, thus they were just trying to break the treaty, Kakashi chases them.

We see Kakashi walk past Guy, we hear a report form one of the men with Kakashi that once Kakashi chased them down, he quickly and easily killed them one by one, even to go as far as to kill one close up, even after being told not to for Intel reasons. It seems that Kakashi may be having psychological issues.

We hear that Kushina gets pregnant, she tells Minato. Kakashi is then given further orders to keep watch over Kushina for 10 months, he’s told to look after her since her Jinchuuriki could come out after the seal becoming a problem. He keeps on looking after her. After that time passes it seems that Kakashi is told to rest due to his work.

Kakashi returns to Rin’s grave replacing the flowers. She mentions this, at the same time we find out that Kakashi was the reason Obito knew about Kushina’s birth, he was listening to everything he had said. Kakashi and Guy begin to talk, as they’re rivals Guy wants to test each other and who’s better.

Kakashi stops and mentions that he seems to have a bad feeling about this, he mentions that after Kakashi joined the ANBU he became cold blooded. Itachi and Sasuke also both notice the bad feeling in the air, Hiruzen also notices this and quickly knows what is going on.

Obito arrives and quickly summons Kurama to which it only brings destruction. Kakashi and the others are told that they cannot fight and must go to the guard room by Hiruzen’s orders. They mention that they cannot go. Kurenai and her father talk for a bit. Hiruzen goes to the scene where Minato and Kushina are nearly dead.

Kushina talks to Hiruzen telling him that the baby’s name is Naruto, from Jiraiya’s book. They try to take her to the hospital but she doesn’t have time and dies. Hiruzen promises to take full responsibility. We go to their ceremony as they have died, Naruto doesn’t seem to be there.

Both of them gave their lives for the village and future. Kakashi thinks about all their good moments. There also doesn’t seem to be a Hokage, at the ceremony it seems that Hiruzen has once again put himself as the Hokage until such a time happens when there is a legitimate person. Danzo is once again surprised about this.

We see Kakashi at the will of fire statue to which Danzo tells him that Minato is no longer alive and that he’ll only be used by Hiruzen, that’s why he should be by Danzo’s side he mentions. Time passes when we see Kakashi go into the ANBU to which he gives Danzo a plan as well as meet Yamato. Naruto Shippuden 350 ends here.

A great episode and nice to see how Obito really found out about Kushina’s birth. It’s really good to see that the plot whole are quickly being filled. Can’t wait for next week’s Naruto Shippuden 351, titled “Hashirama’s Cells”, when we go into some details of who Yamato is and how he may have obtained Hashirama’s cells.
