Fairy Tail 362 shows how powerful Fairy Tail really is, from how underestimated they’ve really been by the demons and Tartarus. It’s impressive how Jackal’s transformation was stopped and neutralised within just a few moments. Unfortunately, the village was not harmed and still stays. They haven’t learnt much after Jackal had exploded.
Fairy Tail 362 begins as a scared Jackal mentions that there is no way in which he’s able to stop his attacks. Jackal asks who the hell he is, Natsu runs towards him smacking him and at the same time he says that he’s Natsu. Jackal laughs mentioning that he’s going to explode, which he does however Natsu blocks it and mentions that he’s got used to the attack.
Jackal begins to get pissed off and thinks that he cannot be a human as he’s so powerful. He begins to transforms until he reaches his full form of which he’s turned into a werewolf. His first attack is blocked by Natsu however there is a large explosion. Natsu mentions that he’s trying to destroy the town. A second attack is also blocked however the surrounding is smashed.
He mentions that humans are not capable of besting demons like them, Nastu notices if the reason for them fighting is their difference from humans. Natsu mentions that they’re different and that they fight for the sake of their injured friends, no matter if their opponents are humans, demons or even gods. An attack later Natsu asks Laxus’ power to which he uses his Lightning Flame Dragon’s Firing Hammer and kicks Jackal back into his place.
He hits a wall and falls back down. Natsu has also fallen after such an attack, he mentions that he’s won and that he’s beat him. Carla mentions that they need to get information out of him. Jackal, still breathing, mentions that he really did lose and that this is the first time he’s lost. He says sorry to Kyoka and mentions that it’s not that bad since he’s taking the whole village with him.
Everyone notice that they’ll also be killed, it seems that Jackal himself is the actual explosive and he can’t stop it. He laughs when Lucy asks what they should do. Quickly, Happy appears and holds Jackal and pulls him up as quickly as he can, Wendy tells him to quickly get away from him. Happy tells him that they would never lose, when Jackal is about to blow up! They’re upset that he may be gone, however Happy pops up with his hair also like Natsu’s, all puffed up like an afro. Fairy Tail 362 ends here.
What a cool chapter, it was known that Natsu would quickly win this match, however it was totally unexpected that Happy would even go as far as to experience Jackal’s explosion first hand, good thing he didn’t die! Can’t wait for next week’s Fairy Tail 363, titled “The Demon Notebook”.

Not going to lie, when I saw Happy flying with Jackal, I got a pang in my stomach. I immediately thought of Frosch and was like, “NOOOOO”. However, Happy is too awesome for that haha it was a good chapter, and I hope they explain more how Natsu defeated the bomb tactic. I’m still not sure I get it besides him just eating the explosion like a flame. Can’t wait for next week xD

Yeah that was exactly how he prevents it, just rays the fire off the explosion so he doesn’t just burnt. And I had the same exactly feeling, I thought he would have died along side Brian from Family Guy.

I have to admit, my heart skipped a beat when Happy was about sacrifice himself but in the end he ended up doing a ‘Pell’ (From One Piece) and ‘Batman’ (From The Dark Knight Rises) … However his version was much more comical with his Afro.
I was going to write a review of my own for this chapter. Funny how I came across this one before I wrote mine. I’ll probs go ahead with it anyways considering I’ve made a commitment.
Also, the whole explosion is basically eating the fire before it explodes. So the part of his body that is about to ignite, gets eaten upon explosion, thus not doing any major damage.

I like how the author can make any character, even the most fragile survive from a dangerous explosion with an afro 😀

That’s the good thing about Fairy Tail. It can never become too glum. It’s always ends up making you smile. It’s all about fun and adventure. Although I wish there was a little more to the plot sometimes but then again, I’ve got Naruto and One Piece for that.

What about Bleach, you can’t forget Bleach. I think FT is aimed for those semi-ecchi lovers who like that as well as action, although it doesn’t seem like a lot of people are going to die like Bleach and Naruto.

I’ll have to be honest, I loved bleach up until recently and I’ve taken a Hiatus from it… I think I read it up to Aizen’s death and the whole full full-bringing… Although I am thinking to give it another shot. I’ve heard its picked up again after that so I do plan to go back to it.
