Naruto 629 gets even more explosive as Naruto has finally run out of any and all chakra he possess, the chakra he also gave to others also seems to be disappearing, when everyone finds this out, they don’t hesitate to get in front of him to protect him whilst Sakura heals. Kakashi and Obito talk about Rin, mentioning that Kakashi accidentally killed Rin as she stepped in front of his Raikiri, she was known to be a Jinchuuriki.

Naruto 629 begins as storms raise and fall upon the battlefield while the massive Ten Tails stands up on its two legs while it’s tails swivels around in the sky. A massive mushroom explosion occurs which is most likely to have pushed as well as killed a number of different people, even Madara thinks this, however he notices that Naruto’s chakra have helped them all.

Naruto notices that it’s not working, it’s possible that he’s chakra is coming to his limit, he’s faced with the other 8 Jinchuuriki’s behind him, however after this, he’s faced by the Ten Tail’s Rinnegan, the Ten Tails then starts to get even bigger as it starts to materialize it’s chakra into it’s muscles, everyone notices that he’s chakra bubbles on people are vanishing.

Madara mentions that he is impressed by Naruto’s efforts but he will need to be removed from here. However he then notices that every other shinobi he helped has gotten in front of him in order to help, Hinata tells everyone to join their forces, Naruto notices their power. Kakashi and Obito drop out from the hole and Kakashi quickly goes on the offensive to get his Raikiri and attack.

When he goes, he seems to have stopped, Obito notices that he’s stopped once more, Obito mentions that he’s had multiple chances to attack but never took it, plus he was surprised to see him show any pity for the enemy in such a fight. He asks if he’s got a guilty conscience. Since he was never able to keep his promise about Rin.

Obito then asks if he’s trying to convert him, Kakashi gets a little tired of all of this, he mentions that he wants to quit what he has with this. He goes on to mention that both his and Naruto’s dreams are very similar, to become Hokage Obito’s goal. He goes on to mention that he wants to hear everything that Naruto has to say and completely deny it.

He gets somewhat angry at Kakashi mentioning that if he thinks that he started this was because of Rin and him, then he’s completely wrong. Obito enables his Sharingan just before Kakashi attacks his heart. Obito mentions that he knows everything when he’s attacked by Kakashi, his vision changed to when he killed Rin.

He reveals that Rin had chosen her own death, by having Kakashi pierce her with her Raikiri. When she was kidnapped by the Mist, she was given the Three Tails, called Isobu. the Mist’s plan was to enable her to get out of control in the Leaf to which she would destroy the village herself, allowing for attack from other villages. When Kakashi was going to attack a leader, she steps in to which he hits her heart allowing for her to suicide as she never wanted to destroy the village.

Obito goes on to mentions that he lost hope when the Shinobi System created the village, thus this world is fake for him. Kakashi quotes Naruto about having friends. Naruto was told his words and he feels the way Obito used to. Obito points out that there is nothing in his heart after being attacked, he shows the whole made in his heart.  He doesn’t feel any pain, the pain set on him was made by the world, not him. Naruto 629 ends here.

Naruto 629 has proven to be a really good chapter, as we find out what actually happened when Kakashi attacked Rin. It’s fully explained and it seems awesome. It will be easy to guess that the Shinobi’s will now die, and that Naruto will need to somehow gain his chakra back, thus can’t wait for next week’s Naruto 630, when we see even more awesomeness.

    Well, I’m still waiting for Sasuke and the Hokages to jump in, but things are definitely looking bleak for Naruto. Until Minato gives him the power boost, I don’t think he can fend off the 10 Tails and Madara.

    Meanwhile, Kakashi seems to actually have the edge, since Tobi said that Kakashi had been holding back. Definitely a bit surprising, but I’m glad to see Kakashi doing well. The Rin part was expected, but it was still sad for Kakashi since you’d think that his sharingan could have warned him in time.

    Also at the end Tobi said that he doesn’t feel pain. I’m guessing he meant emotionally because if he meant physically…well he felt pain when Kakashi hit him before didn’t he? Unless it was just an act. Looking forward to next week’s chapter

      I think it will take a few more chapters, once a ton of the shinobi’s are dead, possible in two more chapters… they will step in.
      Don’t forget the others Kages, which will show up first?
      I hope the Kage’s get trashed a second time when the Hokage’s step in.

      Agreed with all you’ve said after that, but I think that Kakashi’s already in a sharingan trick from Obito, he’s already got the upper hand, Obito was playing him until, now I think he’s going to torture him even more..

        I agree that it could depend on whether the other Hokages come first. Still, it shouldn’t be long. After all they were summoned about 1-2 chapters ago, because Madara sensed them. So while they’re telling Sasuke their reeeeally long tale about the past, Madara’s fighting with Naruto. Still, in real time I’m sure the story won’t take that long and once that happens…well they warped to the Hokage summit pretty quickly.

        I agree that the Kages should get defeated again. They’re no match for Madara, which is why we need the legendary Kages to come in. Naruto can handle the 10 Tails.

        Well, with the Sage of Six Paths part, I’m guessing that Naruto just awakened his Rinnengan or at least comprehends how to use the power now. He’s just a bit drained of chakra, so once Minato gives him the other half, I think he’s going to dominate the fight.

        Well, Tobi does seem a lot more skilled than Kakashi, (especially with Kakashi holding back) but I’m guessing that Kakashi will defeat him. He really shouldn’t, but it’s the climax to his character arc and all

          Hmm I guess, the one thing I’m having a problem with, is timing, they spend a chapter which in the real world could take 5 minutes while the explanation from Hashirama would take like half an hour…

            I dunno, explanations are really quick. I could see him telling Sasuke that in around 5 minutes. After all, most of the dialogue we saw wouldn’t be there because Senju would only be narrating from his point of view and not Madara’s. Some whole chapters from the flashback could be said in a couple of sentences.

    the 10 tails only has the power of 7 tailed beast, and naruto in bijuu mode (which is actually half of the nine tails power) was strong enough to create a tail beast bomb to cancel out the power of 5 tail beast bomb, so i dont think 2 more tail beast combine with the other 5 isnt a problem……. if minato somehow gives naruto the other half of the nine tails power, he could probably beat the 10 tens since the 10 tens only has 7 tails beast

      The Ten Tails was created by all the powers from all the beasts, plus the Ten Tails has been collecting and filling up his chakra until now when he can stand up and create tornadoes and fling anything and everything around..
      Although I also want Minato to give Naruto the other half of the Tail Beasts if he still has it with him…

    Madara’s a true villain once he becomes Juubi no Jinchuuriki he’ll be flipping the kages like toys…I know I should be support Naruto but he has enough support from you guys and the entire ninja world what more does he want?
