Juha Bach Dead?! – Zanka No Tachi North – Bleach 509

Bleach 509 is possibly the end of Juha Bach. We see his body nearly and swiftly cut, we also find out the reason why some Shinigami’s Bankai’s are not being stolen, it’s because the limit of it has not been found yet. Yamamoto also releases Zanka No Tachi North!

Bleach 509 starts out as Juha Bach’s defense crumbles as the bones and skeletons start to raise from the ground beneath. Juha Bach asks himself what this is because he doesn’t yet know the limit of Yamamoto’s Bankai. The corpses head towards Juha Bach wanting to take him down, they respect Yamamoto as he’s the one who brought them back. He says Kaka Juumanokushi Daisoujin (Literally Meaning Grand Array of 10 Trillion Dead and Buried by Flames).

Yamamoto tells him that these corpses are those of the ones he’s slain. His blade has given them heat and called them forth. The awakened dead become his hands and feet, and chase after those who oppose him. Until they become no more than dust. Juha laughs and tells him that he laughs because he has called forth the dead, he brings disgrace upon the Shinigami.

Juha Bach tells Yamamoto not to think that he can easily be beaten just like that. As Juha goes for the attack, he’s blocked by the bones. Yamamoto tells him that he’s mouth is working just fine, but his eyes aren’t working as well, he then tells him to take a good look. He tells him to take a good look at the bones of who’s trying to defeat.

Juha Bach notices that a few of them are old Quincy’s who were with Juha, he notices the first as Zeidritz, the second and third as Argola and Hubert. Yamamoto asks him how it’s like to face his own subordinates. Juha calls him a bastard. Yamamoto backs away from Juha Bach and tells him that he’s just making some distance.

Juha tells Yamamoto that if he wants to kill him, then he should come at him and kill him. Yamamoto asks Juha if he regrets not stealing his Bankai. Yamamoto realizes that it’s not that you didn’t steal his Bankai, but rather that you weren’t able to. Yamamoto figures out that the way to steal a Bankai is to analyze it and then steal it, which didn’t work on Ichigo because he’s just achieved his Bankai recently, and there is room to evolve it.

Yamamoto didn’t even display his real strength 1000 Years ago, and thus he wasn’t able to steal it because he didn’t know the limit of it. Yamamoto tells Juha that this is the end of him and shouts loudly. Yamamoto tells Juha that he still had a human heart at the end. Juha tells Yamamoto that he shouldn’t speak like he knows him.  Yamamoto tells him that he can see his tear.

Juha runs towards Yamamoto, at each point he starts to break the Quincy’s bones, all the bones of his subordinates. Yamamoto gets angry once again and finally enables and releases his Zanka No Tachi North! Yamamoto strikes his sword with a clean swipe! This cuts  Juha Bach in half! His left arm has been turned into dust.

Juha Bach falls down knowing that he won’t be able to do anything else! Yamamoto’s Bankai starts to disable as the fiery Zanpakuto starts to becomes a normal sword. The environment as well as Yamamoto’s body starts to once again become normal. It starts to rain. Juha says that he wasn’t strong enough, he also says that he’s sorry and quotes his own name, as though he is someone else and not Juha Bach. Bleach 509 ends here!

What an epic ending to such a one-sided battle! That was certainly a fantastically powerful match! The respect which Yamamoto had for Juha Bach at the end shows that there could be something that we still don’t know, possibly their past! Can’t wait for next week’s Bleach 510! It’s going to continue with the other fights!

Are you stupid? Its not yamamoto saying juha-bach-sama its this guy who was disguised or changed by some technique. It was winup to check yama’s powers

Lol, no I’m not stupid.. and thanks for the correction. And after reading it a second time yeah that person was clearly not Juha Bach and yes it could be for the Blond dude, who could be Juha Bach, to read Yamamoto’s Bankai and find out the limits of it to capture it using the medallion…

Completely agree, Yamamoto possibly has the best Bankai…. he’s South could bring any of his old enemies who he killed… Plus he could beat any and all enemies which is the best part…!

Totally agree, it could have been a lower class who had transformed into the form of Juha Bach, and it could be possible that the real Juha Bach was in fact the Blond dude who transforms into Juha Bach… as Yamamoto explained, the limits to someones Bankai must be known… As we known in the previous chapter, the Blond dude was analysis Yamamoto’s Bankai like he was recording it or something…

Maybe now with Juha Bach gone now, someone that was stronger, but respected the order of things with Bach being the leader. Now that he is died there is a spot open to led the quicies.

I couldn’t even tell what happened when he called Zanka No Tachi North, except that the enemy was cut in half. But now a question arises: Where is the real Juha Bach? I know Quincies are geniuses at strategizing, but one thing remains… They’re human. Humans don’t live for thousands of years. So, was this guy saying a prayer to the memory of their long since dead leader and/or ancestor, or is Juha Bach truly alive? Is it this blonde guy standing on the sidelines? Is he back at their secret hideout awaiting the right moment to strike? Or is he somewhere else carrying out a separate part of the plan?

Yeah what Ne3X7 said is correct, your asking the correct questions…. but with Tite, he always pulls out something out of the bag which is unexpected when it could be anything… I personally first thought it was the blonde guy but after reading your questions it made me come up with some other things, yeah they are clever as hell, so I presumed that Juha Bach somehow found a way to freeze himself or do something like cloning or memory transfer or something…

I say that Juha Bach is dead and that Yamamoto told him he was sorry for killing him. It just doesnt make sense for the blonde guy to be the real leader. I mean come on. Would you settle for being somebody’s bitch the whole arc for no apparent reason? The next couple of chapters will be good but i really need to see Grimmjow come back and rule Hueco Mundo!!!!!!

First, I don’t see the Captain Commander apologizing to this person. This guy pissed him off so much that he used his bankai. He didn’t even bother using his bankai on Aizen. So, this guy is definitely at the top of Yamamoto’s shit list.
Second, we’re not talking him being an underling throughout the entire arc. We’re talking about the blonde guy being Juha Bach in disguise, sitting on the sidelines to observe the true power of Genryusai’s bankai before stealing it or attacking. Counter-intelligence is the key element in coming up with a winning strategy.
Finally, Grimmjow is so badass that I could almost guarantee that he’s the one standing before Urahara with his sword… but I don’t think he’s the ruling type. He’s a warrior at heart and lives only for the thrill of battle… just like Kenpach.

I’m hoping we’ll get an answer on that within the next chapter or two. The suspense is killing me. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Grimjow. Actually, I hope it is. I wanna see him back in action again. He was a very entertaining character and I think he’d be awesome in fighting off the Sternritter.

I think Ulquiorra was the only one known to use who had a second release. And yeah I’m also hoping it is, plus I think that 509 was the end of one of the volume and that 510 may be a continuation of a different part of the arc..

Maybe he decided Kirge’s usefulness was over. Ivan and the long-haired guy who went to declare war on SS(can’t remember the name) were killed by him for that reason.

Maybe Juha Bach is Aizen’s second personality that he uses when he’s trying to pretend to be a Quincy, and the fake Juha Bach is trying to free him but failed!

It would be a massive shock to a lot of people if it was Aizen, plus if he did come back it would just be another story, i’d prefer it if there was a separate Quincy badass because they seem somewhat fragile, so I wanted to see a crazy powerful dude before Bleach ended…

No zla here? OMG, I was really looking forward to reading his suggestions. By the way, I completely agree with deucee9s2wylde.

About the chapter itself, I was like WOW about everything. The bankai is awesome! such a great power just from a flame type zanpakuto! And yeah, I also didn’t quite catch what Noth technique really does. Seemed like Getsuga Tenshou (result).

Damn, I knew the Buckbeard is not the true villain! Just a week ago, I was discussing 508 with my friend, and quoted zla, that blondie is quite reasonable and shows no signs of fear. And I suggested him being the final villian or at least real Bach’s right hand 😀

I guess we’re gonna see Yamamoto lose his Bankai next time 😀 and 510 is possibly about Ichigo. Eager to see Hichigo. Maybe he’s the one, who breaks the cage. Or Grimmjow, from the outside.

Yeah completely agree, Bleach is getting excited every chapter! 510 is going to be awesome, I’m hoping it will include both Ichigo’s and Urahara’s story. I also linked the ideas that Yamamoto mentioned about knowing a Bankai’s limit, which Yamamoto showed to Juha Bach, so now the Blonde dude could steal it if he wants.
If he was somehow the evil guy then I won’t be surprised as I knew that Yamamoto was way to powerful for Juha and that the Blonde dude had to do be doing something with all this attacking business… Plus we never saw the blonde dude shout or cry for his own master, so it’s possible that he could be the master…

Lols, now we don’t know three things: if Aizen is alive after kaboom in 1st division barracks, if Yamamoto is alive (and how many parts he consists of now), and who killed Kirge Opie 😀
