Kakashi and Tobi Connected! – Tobi’s Technique Explained – Naruto 597

Naruto 597 is a little late this week but doesn’t matter because it’s epic level has gone through the roof! We start off as both Gai and Naruto are confused about it all, thus Kakashi explains it in a more convenient way saying that both Tobi and Kakashi are connected somehow as they both use the same dimension to transport themselves too.

Naruto 597 starts as Tobi starts to get up from his recent injuries. Gai asks Kakashi what he means by one jutsu, Naruto tells him that he doesn’t really get it because now they’re able to get a hit on Tobi. Gai tells Kakashi that he’s the only person who’s able to analyze this and thus give us an idea of how it works.

Kakashi starts to tell both Naruto and Gai how it works, he explains that his jutsu’s to absorb objects and his jutsu to slip through things are both Space-Time Ninjutsu. He explains that the mark on his face was left by the Kunai with the Raikiri which Kakashi sent. While the scars on his right shoulder were from the Rasengan.

Kakashi tells them that this is something which is common, these both parts were both overlapping with Naruto’s body. The Kunai and the Rasengan were both sent over to the other dimension using Kakashi’s Kamui. From this Kakashi knew it was Space-Time Ninjutsu.

Plus Kakashi could tell that Kakashi’s and Tobi’s Space-Time Ninjutsu are both connected to the same dimension! Kakashi asks if somehow his eye technique is connected to yours. Killer Bee asks if any and all Space-Time Ninjutsu users are connected. Kakashi answers with a No because it could only be him and Kakashi connected.

Kakashi tells Naruto that his blow on Tobi’s face looked like it was slipping through. This meant that the part which was overlapping moved onto the other dimension, this meant that this part was not in fact transparent because it was just sent to the other dimension as a physical object.

Plus as roughly the same time, Kakashi sent his Kunai there which had resulted in that scratch on his face. This also means that the Rasengan Kakashi had sent had also affect Tobi there in the other dimension. Thus it had a hit on Tobi’s left arm in the other dimension.

Kakashi asks Tobi where he got his eye from. Tobi tells him that it was during the past world war, from the fight at the Kannabi Bridge. Kakashi quickly realizes that the person who was there was called “The Hero with the Sharingan”. At this moment, Tobi tells Kakashi to not open his mouth like he always does. He tells Kakashi that he’s just words and no action.

Tobi tells Kakashi that he’s seen reality and that he should be able to understand that no wish can come true in the world. That’s why he has the dream to pursue the Infinite Tsukuyomi, he wants to rebuild the world where heroes don’t have to make pitiful excuses in front of graves.

Naruto quickly stops Tobi and tells him to stop his talking because Naruto had already told Tobi that he’s dream is of becoming Hokage, plus he has been entrusted with many things. Tobi asks Naruto if he ended up neglecting what Jiraiya and Minato left him, what would they think? Naruto remembers some past moments from his past with Jiraiya and Minato.

Tobi asks Naruto what he will think about himself if he was to fail in his mission. Even if he was to use his words instead of fighting he would still be entrusted with that will, which would be hollow in the end. Kurama also remembers some moments of Minato and Naruto’s past.

Kurama asks Naruto to switch, they do and he starts speaking, Kurama says that Naruto doesn’t match what he’s currently saying. He also says that Minato had left Naruto to himself, and still he was able to make friends with Kurama and everyone else. Plus Minato had sealed Kurama into Naruto so he could defeat Tobi, thus he won’t fail! Naruto 597 ends here!

What a fantastic chapter! Naruto’s all hyped up and he’s ready to go kick some Tobi ass! Plus Kakashi has correctly deciphered Tobi’s technique just in one chapter! He’s as awesome as we think because he’s a boss! Plus it’s awesome to see Naruto and Kurama working together! Can’t wait till next week’s Naruto 598 chapter! It’s going to be awesome!

    Kishi is draging it a bit out if you ask me. Still we got valuable info about Tobi. How the heck did he get that eye and who could he be? If i recall Obitos right side was totally crushed by rocks so how…i cant believe that the Obito theory might be the truth in the end….

      Have to agree with Bleach two to three things happen, but with Naruto only one thing happens and they’re actually able to fill a episode with just one manga chapter which is unbelievable!
      Hmm yeah we know his right side was crushed, but doesn’t mean that he took lost his eye, lol I personally think that this chapter made it too easy to guess that It could be Obito lol, but you never know, Obito could have been taken over by someone else, like Orochimaru wants to take over Sasuke…

      Yeah reading some background info on the bridge.
      “During the Third Shinobi World War, this bridge was a vital pathway to Iwagakure’s line of supply. Team Minato, led by newly-promoted jōnin Kakashi Hatake, were given the mission of destroying it. They eventually succeeded with the aid of the team’s official leader, Minato Namikaze, although it did cost the life of Obito Uchiha.”

      Obito may have died there, and Tobi may have stole it from his dead body…

    I will give you a hint, for your eyes are closed..

    Tobi can’t be Obito or Shisui (itachis friend), because the REAL Madara says in the chapter he is brought back, that “this must be HIS doing”, meaning Madara knows Tobi personally and Madara was alive during the time of the first hokage. So Tobi is WAY too old to be either of those two.
    When Naruto’s family was attacked the day he was born, Tobi was a grown man. Obito was the same age as Kakashi and around the time the 4th was killed, Kakashi was still only a teen. So it had to be someone a little bit older..

      That’s what I think too but it could possibly be someone who could have the ability to transfer themselves to other bodies, just like Orochimaru with Sasuke. Plus yes I’ve noticed that he was a large dude when he met Itachi, he was pretty big when he fought Minato, thus he may have either took Obito’s body over or took his eye…

    guys look you’ll thank me later, I did so much research and tobi is kagami uchiha lol
    he cnt be obito or rin because when tobi battled the 4th he was a bit older than kakashi whos the same age as rin and obito. He cant be shusui (itachis friend) because he isnt old enough to be tobi, tobi is from around the time of the first. Those theories are out the window. Tobi is either Kagami, Rikudo sage’s son, or Izuna. They said izuna died though so I dont know. Rikudo’s son is the only one who knows everything and is the oldest..tobi looks very old but we cnt say its him.
    it has to be Kagami Uchiha, he was on Danzo’s squad and a student of the 2nd hokage, TOBIrama, who, taught him space-time jutsu. This could be where he got his name tobi from and why he mastered space-time jutsu. When the fourth was sealing kyuubi if you look behind Sarutobi (the 3rd) you see all of Kagami’s team there bt he is missing….coincidence? Idts because he battled the 4th. Kishimoto menioned Kagami for a reason, if thought it was breif, but what we know about kagami all adds up to him being tobi. Nobody knows where kagami is but his team are the elders that konoha is now protecting…except kagami isnt part of it, he isnt there and he isnt dead. There you go lol he took obito’s eyes since he was there during the war as well.

      Hmm it’s possible, your theory seems to be on point you never know, Kishi could pull out his trump card and amazingly bring someone out of the blue that we know but would have never guessed…

      yes. it can be.. but what’s the reason of revealing his (TOBI) true face to sasuke just to convince him to get revenge to konoha? i think it could be FUGAKU UCHIHA the father of SASUKE. when Itachi had killed all his entire clan, his father is not really the one he killed. It was zetsu who has a jutsu to copy all the attributes of a shinobi. and during the time that Kushina is giving birth to naruto, the mother of sasuke (i forgot her name), a friend of kushina is the only friend of her who knows about where and when will she’s giving birth to naruto.. That’s why that time, TOBI had easily track the place where were Kushina is giving birth, and tried to bind the nine tails inside her.. So it’s gotta be FUGAKU UCHIHA..

          i guess Zetsu’s ability to create and control near-identical copies of himself, which can be used as a special substitute by taking on the appearance and unique chakra of anyone CANNOT be detected even to sensors and Kage-level shinobi.. So that’s the reason I think why itachi was unable to detect that His father was Zetsu.

            Ohh right, i didn’t know it was such a intense power which Zetsu has… thus it could be possible that Zetsu has planned it all and his father could still be alive…. hmmm it’s starting to make sense….. So basically Itachi’s Father, Tobi, is currently taking care of Sasuke himself… hmm it could be a possibility…

      Obito and Tobi were young together, now they are old… Tobi seems to be wise enough to know a lot about everything… So it’s possible that it is Obito because it’s been revealed that it is Obito!

    Look people… of this website everyone has good thoughts of who it may be, but for one thing i know for sure is the only person forsure knows who he is is itachi… why? becuase dont remmber that eps but when mask fuck and saskue was in the cave talking he took off his mask and saskue eye burned his face, that was planted in sasuke eyes from itachi…. so itachi knew that person was gonna come to saskue soon, so means only itachi knows who face it is.. 😀 but anyways its someone that itachi knows and someone that knows very well about the UCHIHA Past!! and madura knows and soon kakashi starting to get the hint of who… also
