Bleach 488 is one of the better chapters. We see that the Tres Bestia start to kick some serious Quincy ass, but then are badly defeated by Kirge Opie. At Soul Society, Mayuri tells all the other captains some necessary information. In Hueco Mundo, Ichigo finds Kirge, as well as the Tres Bestia’s defeated. The fight is about to start.

We start this fantastic chapter as Apacci and Rose start arguing in front of the Quincy Soldiers. Sung-Sun puts herself forward as she goes up against the Captain, Kirge Opie. Both Apacci and Rose call Sung-Sun a bitch for being he’s opponent.

Somewhere else, Ichigo notices a large explosion at the direction which he is going to. Out of nowhere, Ichigo finds Nel behind him, he being surprised asks why she’s there. She tells him that she’s protecting Ichigo’s back. Ichigo asks who the Tres Bestia are, Nel tells Ichigo that it means The Three Beasts.

Nel tells Ichigo that they are the Three Fraccions who are under Harribel’s direct control. They are amazingly strong and super scary. They always trying to kill each other but never do. She also mentions that because of them being there, the enemy in that area are going to be wiped out in a matter of seconds.

At this point, Apacci, Rose and Sung-Sun are quickly killing the soldiers at a very quick rate. Even at this moment, they are all fighting with reach other. One of the soldiers tells Kirge Opie, that they are extremely strong and thus they should retreat for the time being. Out of nowhere, Kirge uses he’s Quincy powers which obliterates the soldier. The Tres Bestia’s notice what had happened.

Kirge Opie compliments them for being strong and being the perfect pawns for his majesty. He asks them to be part of their army so they could work together with the King and Tier Harribel. Apacci get angry and calls Kirge an Four-Eyes Monkey for underestimating them. Kirge tells them that it’s such a pity.

In a chamber with the Soul Society, all the captains are listening to Akon, who was telling them some vital information on the attack from the Vandenreich. Mayuri steps forward and tells everyone that the Ryoka will be named Rebel Army temporarily. He also mentions that the Incursion is connected to the recent disappearance of Hollows.

Mayuri then mentions that the Vandenreich are Quincy’s! Mayuri then reveals that they do know how they survived, or how they increased their numbers. However they need to concern themselves with the fact that they can somehow pass through the Shakonmaku (Soul Shield Membrane).

Yamamoto stops Mayuri from speaking and tells him that he wants to know something. He asks where their Headquarters lies. Mayuri tells them that they do now yet know. This means that they are unable to invade them first, therefore all the captains should now prepare for battle.

Yamamoto carries on by saying that they should prepare immediately since they have no way of believing what was said by their soldier. Therefore Yamamoto then tells all captains to prepare as quickly as possible so they can make the first move.

In Hueco Mundo, Ichigo notices an even larger explosion, Nel mentions that it’s by the hands of the Tres Bestia. As Ichigo runs a head, he notices a shocking sight. Apacci, Rose and Sung-Sun have all been eliminated, even though they seemed to kill a few soldiers, they were no match for Kirge Opie. Kirge notices Ichigo, and says that there’s a lot of guests coming today. The chapter ends here.

That was a terrific chapter! This Final Arc is getting explosive at each chapter! Next week’s chapter may feature Kirge Opie vs Ichigo Kurosaki. Can’t wait for Bleach 489! It’s going to be fantastic!
