Within today’s Bleach 476, we learn about Ukitake’s real plan! Rukia seems to be really upset with what the task was when they set out.

I mentioned about Ukitake having a plan for Ichigo which involved surveillance of Ichigo using the Combat Pass/Substitute Shinigami Badge. This took me in a long description of what was going during Bleach 474, explained here.

So during today’s Bleach 476, Byakuya mentions that their task for coming to the real world, was to “See Kurosaki Ichigo through his decision.”. They knew that Ichigo would find out about this secret, so they came to help him by giving his powers back. I’m sure that this is all planned out before hand.

So, Byakuya mentions “We knew that if a Substitute Shinigami appeared that sooner or later, Ginjo wold turn his attentions towards him. And when that happened, we were always going to use that Substitute Shinigami  as bait to lure Ginjo out. In due time, we would erase both of them. At least, that was what we captains had agreed to do.”

So that was the real plan between the captains! I’m sure that Aizen also knew this. Byakuya then goes on to describe how Soul Society changed, they all shared their powers with the substitute they were going to kill.

From the moment Rukia agrees with Captain Hitsugaya, her right arm starts to disappear. As thought shes disappearing from Ichigo’s memory. As she disappears, she asks “Ichigo Why?” Although the full question is, why he may have gone through everything with Ginjo just to get his powers back, Rukia can’t make out that it’s for his friends and family.

Although this manga story needs a little more expanding since it clearly isn’t finished. I’m sure that all the characters will be back to normal after this fight! Hopefully that’ll be next week, or maybe Ginjo will open his Hollow Mask! We’ll see the ending of this fight on next week’s Bleach 477 Manga.
