In the latest Naruto 559 Chapter, we finally have our self the answer of who the mysterious man is! Uchiha Madara! What a shock! Uchiha Madara’s Impure World Resurrection!
Yesterday’s question is todays answer, of who the mysterious man in the coffin set a chain reaction to who the masked man called Tobi! Many have said that this masked menace is Obito Uchiha who was Kakashi’s friend during his child years. Although we have no answer till we actually see who it is, we can still give it a guess! Comment below on who you think it is!
Naruto Chapter 559 named “At Last, The “Trump Card” …!!!” has Naruto completely smashing all White and Black Zetsu’s Forces as well as their reinforcements. We think Naruto has destroyed all of their forces but one thing on my mind now is, Where is Tobi? (Masked Guy). He could be doing anything from preparing his own forces to finding a way to win a battle.
Since now all of this action was most part of Black and White Zetsu and Orochimaru’s right hand man Kabuto Yakushi! Uchiha Madara has done nothing! But wait..? Isn’t a good thing in the long run? Well yeh! That’s because his disappearance adds an extra layer of suspense, it’s like you never know when his going to appear. This absence of his tells me his planning something Big! He wouldn’t have gone through the trouble of creating the next world war for no reason, he must have an even larger power!
We’ll have to just wait and see what’ll have on next weeks episode! Stay tuned, keep watching and reading!

Well, here we go, all the conspiracy’s all over again as we all just got sure that it was madara under the mask,
However I always knew it wasn’t Madara, this is because in such comics their must be lots of misleading for it to keep interesting to such a point that as soon as Tobi’ said he was Madara’ I was thinking no he’s no he is just saying that as Madara was a man to be feared and recognized.
Anyways my opinion is that it is a definitively Obito.
Many will disagree as he used this left eye up when fighting Konan, But what you also must take into account is that if your memories are clear he had a huge stockpile of sharingan eyes and it seems that the reason he has a hole in his mask on his right is because obviously thats his real and own eye, to support this he replaced his other eye with the Rinnengan later obviously. Obito also has vengeance against the Uchicha as he felt under valued furthermore even though in the short story he seemed willing to die, maybe the rock didn’t completely crush him and he was left half dead and felt betrayed no one came to save him.
But the last point against all this is that in that short story its his right side is crushed the one which Tobi has his real eye in. So to this I still think Obito is Tobi because their is no one else presently known to be discussed alive, or unknown if dead or alive.

@@@shocker Obito was happy to save kakashi, and gave him his eye as a gift because. He was supposed to give him a gift for becoming jonin or chunin I can’t remember. So why would he be mad?? He gave his eye because he knew he was going to die

You mention Obito being Tobi, and since your instincts for Madara not being tobi were right im sure ill go with what you say. And Ofcourse big time shows like Naruto have to keep their viewers interested. Madara Uchiha and Tobi are like the biggest opponent and keeping a few extra twists is a part of that 😛

Im not sure if there is anyone else that we can suspect except for Obito himself, unless somehow Minato Namikaze is Tobi, possibility is very low!!
Even though, looking at Obito and Tobi’s names, I think Masashi Kishimoto played on words a little, to somehow relate these two characters at the end? What do you think?

My brother just told me roughly that, Obito was on a mission with Kakashi and Rin. They were ambushed. Obito tried to save Kakashi and Rin, Rocks fell on him.
Rocks screwed up Obito’s face. (Thats why he wear a mask)
His left eye was giving to Kakashi, his right he kept. Tobi’s (Obito’s) current left eye is stolen from someone.

So if obito went through the rock why didn’t he just say oh snap I’m fine and just walk through the boulder . I doubt if he did teleport out of under boulder he’d be healed cuz then he could he could get stabbed then teleport then be fine . I may sound like a dick but its just a friendly conversation

What I think, was that Obito wanted to leave Konoha to do other things, pursue some of his other objetives … so he might have set up his own death just to do that….
And also, if you looked on some of the images/videos/episode you might have noticed that tobi’s face was a little screwed up… Im not sure, but i think this might be because of the fight with 4th Hokage Minato and the 9th Tail Fox?

Its a long shot explaining something with so much depth in story… if another character is involved, its even harder to explain… so i think with Obito its possible that it could be Tobi, but also not be him…

I think explaining why obito is tobi would be harder he doesnt hate konoha. Why he never got in touch with kakashi. How he survived is a big one. Why would obito have same eyes as madara. If obito is madaras son then it would all come together

So far the only reason you believe its obito is because his name is reverse minus an O. Obito was kakashis friend and was like naruto in many ways. So your saying he.flipped and became like sasuke?? Why would go against konoha and never even say hay kakashi sup. At the start when tobi was starting out with Zetsu and Deidara, he was all about fun and jokes… but now its gotten a lot serious…
I like how Tobi played the Akatsuki to such an extent that the akatsuki went to war with some of the villages…

Maybe when he was going to die he was able to use his space time jutsu and his consiousness split somehow and the one resurrected didn’t even know it happened thats why tobi doesn’t like to be touched because hes some kind of projection and not a man

Im pretty sure that ‘Tobi’ is Uchiha Izuna. The real Madara could have been a good guy, Izuna could get pissed as Madara chose to make peace with Senju clan. And the reason that tobi has a storage of sharingans could be that he has no eyes, meaning both eyes. Have anyone ever thought what would happen if Izuna actually placed his brother’s blinded eyes to himself? Perhaps Madara was half blinded, because one eye techniuge only activate with using one eye. that could be the reason why Tobi only sees with the right eye. Beside, who else could have matched Madara with the same power, if not his own brother.

When I was reading up on Uchiha Izuna a while back. I realized that Izuna couldn’t just give his eyes to his brother.
If Uchiha Izuna was truely a good guy, he must have known that Madara was an evil guy, hence Madara was killed by Izuna?
But there’s a lot of explaining to do to explain this story….
The theory you have about storage eyes and no eye tobi, could be true! Since he gave Madara his eyes, your thoery to keep backup eyes is pretty positive!
And yeh Madara is one powerful guy! And since they matched their own power, Uchiha Izuna must have some how gained a super power to beat Madara!

Maybe it’s a little detail but it makes me curious from the time i have saw it.In the anime when Tobi
foughts with Aburame (Danzo’s Underling) when he got his arm infected he removed it and it didnt like a regular one.it seemed like zetsu or clay etc. but it wasnt normal like blood spiled bone etc…
so i guessed he was something like a jutsu set up by someone already dead character…

I don’t think he is Obito because:
1- He would have to go trought a complete change in his personality.
2- Tobi fought the 4th while kakashi was still a teenager
3- Tobi gave Nagato the Rinnegan as he stated when he fought Konan, Nagato was trained by Jiraiya in the second war (the war Kakashi’s father died while Kakashi was still a child)
I think it is either the Sage of Six Paths son or Izuna Uchiha (Madara’s brother), and I say so because of what we know about him:
1- He had the Rinnegan, therefore he would have access to it.
2- He is really old as he fought against the 4th and gave Nagato the eyes.
3- He knows a lot, as when he told the Sage sons history, something that nobody ever mentioned.
4- He has the same personality as one of the Sage’s sons, trying to conquer the world by force.

My knowledge on Sage of Six Paths is a little bad. So the Sage of Six Paths, the guy who was named “God of Shinobi” and “Savior of this World”.
His sons were Senju Clan Ancestors and Uchiha Clan Ancestors… Im sure they were just clan names, not actual sons… So i think its quite impossible for Sage of Six Paths sons to be Tobi!
And Izuna’s is one of the candidates of who it might be! 😀
Even if he has died, i’d be quite surprised is he was still alive!

Tobi knew that the true story of the Rikudo Sage. And if it was someone ffrom that time it would also explain how the hell they got the Rinnegan.

throwing this out there Danzo is likely tobi, check the hair style and color absolutely identical, and think about danzo take off his bandages and put the tobi mask on, how else would tobi know so much about konoha, and it makes sense since danzo helped train itachi, as well as being the founder of the foundation.

I personally think Tobi is Izuna because he wanted revenge against Konoha for killing Madara. It was never mentioned that Izuna is dead, and if Tobi is Izuna it will make sense why Tobi was telling the “true” story of how Madara obtained his eyes and that he wanted Madara to have it and that it wasnt taken for him. If my memory serve me well, the truce between Senju and Uchiha was made right after Izuna’s eyes were given to Madara, and it was the truce that lead to the death of Uchiha Madara….
Madara may have just been one of the “good guys” all along, while the first Hokage however seems like he was going to do everything for power therefore killing Madara off.

I also think that Madara is one of the good guys, but Kabuto will use his powers to try to kill Naruto in the latest Chapter.
It does mention that Izuna was killed, but that could have been a clone of some sort… he could have somehow been missing and they needed to report him dead!

Its not Obito… neither is Izuna his brother. Tobi is a clone of Madara, created by zetsu. Madara after the fight against Senju Hashirama was too tired, and died, but before that, he asked zetsu to create a clone, and he gave his thinkings to the clone (Tobi)

That is a possibility…. But then why would Zetsu go to the trouble of creating another character such as Tobi?
Also there are some times where Tobi and Zetsu talk when there is no1 around!
Furthermore, why would Zetsu not be as powerful as Tobi? iv seen that zetsu can create a large number of clones (in one of the latest manga) but it just doesnt come out as Zetsu being Tobi’s controller!

Please put the Tobi is Obito theory to rest!! The motive is not there for Obito to come up with this mastermind plan against the shinobi world. 1st of all when Tobi fought the 4th hokage he was an adult and Obito and kakashi were still kids! 2nd, Tobi knows entirely too much about Orochimaru and Madara. 3rd, the real Madara knows exactly who Tobi is as he was included in this plan b4 he died. I REALLY think Tobi is Kagami Uchiha (who could be Madara son), his whereabouts are unclear, which would also explain y he used his sensei’s name “Tobi” as in “Tobirama Senju” (2nd hokage). It has to be either Madara’s son, his brother, a son of the sage of the 6 paths, or the sage of the 6 paths himself coming back to rid the shinobo world of war that he created in the first place (like a messiah).

Responding to your first theory.. If you’ve seen the episode where Kushina is telling Naruto about the invasion of Kurama in Konoha… you would have noticed that they look around 18 years old….
2nd, Tobi does know a lot about the past of Orochimaru and Madara… but it doesn’t mean that after Obito’s so-called death.. he went around and got a lot of info in a few years…
3rd, yeh Kagami was part of the first war, so yeh i also think he is a suspect… as well as others..
It was believed that The Sage of The 6 Paths only had two sons.. which were the Senju Clan and Uchiha Clan… it doesn’t specify who they were….
yehh theres a lot of info pointing to a lot of people whove been suspect of being Tobi… but only time can tell who the real Tobi is…

How crazy of a plot twist would it be if the Sage of Six Paths had a secret 3rd son XD something I could see happening, but also very doubtful. Since there are so many theories as to who it is…there is also the possibility that they don’t reveal who Tobi is..being as he stated, “[He] is nobody”. He may just represent insanity, desire for peace etc. Just a plain entity of “evil”.

The Senju Clan are the “body”, both will power and physical energy…
And Uchiha Clan are the “eyes”, both powerful chakra and spiritual energy…
They both sound very positive to me…. “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”…. so since two positives came out of this… there might need to be two negatives….. perhaps Tobi was somehow a descendant from the third or forth clan… Lol, crazy theories xD
