Blood Blockade Battlefront or Kekkai Sensen, published its first season Spring 2015, after it finished, many fans were left with lots of holes. However, today we hear some great news as “Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond” returns as the second season adapting the action manga by Yasuhiro Nightow.

From the first season, where Rie Matsumoto was the lead director, the second season see’s Shigehito Takayanagi take over within Bones 2017 production. Along with this, a large number of changes are upon as Dagashi Kashi’s Yasuko Kamo will be writing instead of Kazunao Furuya.

Toshihiro Kawamoto returns as the designer and animator, as well as Taisei Iwasaki with the music. Most of the cast will also be returning for the second season of the anime.
