So after Naruto Gaiden chapter 1 was aired we followed Sarada as she learnt about how everyone and their dads are training for the upcoming exams. Sarada went home and asked Sakura about Sasuke, she got angry and literally destroyed the house. Sarada took care of Sakura and went home to get the family portrait, there she finds Sasuke’s image with someone who looks similar to her, Karin!
So lets just go ahead and mention that Sarada and Karin look alike, very similar to each other in fact. I would go as far as to say that Karin could be related to Sarada by blood. Now we know that Karin and Sasuke were friends, they worked together ever since they were with Orochimaru. After Sasuke had murdered Orochimaru, Sasuke had recruited and became friends with Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo and formed Taka in order to help the Akatsuki.
After Sasuke and Naruto had their incredible fight to end the Naruto manga series with 700 chapters, many shinobi’s dispersed and went their own way. As Gaiden concentrates on most of the kids, we see that after so many years Sarada is born to be of Sasuke and Sakura’s child. She has dark hair, wears glasses and looks extremely like Karin.
On top of which we knew that Karin definitely had feelings for Sasuke, whenever he was near to her, she would go all jelly-like and try and get close to him. There is very little evidence proving that Sarada is in fact the daughter of Karin, but since Karin herself had lots of feeling for Sasuke, it’s possible to assume that they did have sex that child could be Sarada.
Does Sakura know? Why is she taking care of a child that’s not even hers. Well if Sarada was in fact the child of Karin, then Sakura knows, there could have been some kind of reason that meant that Karin wasn’t able to be there for Sarada and Sasuke may have had to look for others ways to keep Sarada safe at home.
What exactly is Sasuke looking for, and why has he gone for so long? Could it be that he’s searching for Karin or something linked to Karin? I guess we’ll soon see. I personally think that both Sarada and Karin are linked, by this I mean that I think that Karin could be the mother of Sarada.
Honestly, it could also be some kind of troll from Kishimoto himself, it could be something that he’s trying to accomplish and trying to throw everyone off on Sakura not being the mother of Sarada. So what are your thoughts on this? Do you think that Sarada and Karin are related, are they mother and daughter? Comment down below, I guess we’ll learn if this is true or false soon enough.
UPDATE (11/06/2015): In the latest Naruto Gaiden 7 chapter, Sarada asked Suigetsu about Karin, she is within another of Orochimaru’s hideouts. Sarada revealed her intentions that Karin might be her real mother, Suigetsu uses a machine to test for DNA from Sarada cheek cells, with Karin’s cells coming from somewhere unknown.
The results show that both pieces of DNA compared are related, one from Sarada and the other possibly from Karin. This could be a possible conclusion that Karin is the real mother of Sarada! What do you think? Is she the real mother?
UPDATE 2 (02/07/2015): In the latest Naruto Gaiden 10 chapter, Karin confirms to Suigetsu that the DNA of the umbilical cord that was in Karin’s office was in fact between Sakura and Sarada. Proving that Karin is in fact NOT the mother of Sarada. It’s not clear if Sarada knows this, however as seen in the final chapter, she doesn’t seem to care since it’s feelings and emotions that attach her to Sasuke and Sakura.

Probably Sarada is Orochimaru’s ”daughter”. He always want a perfect body….. So he mixed Sasuke and Karin’s DNS for make a powerful Uchiha-Uzumaki body for the future. Then Sasuke and Saura saved the baby…

Considering that whole chapter was talking about clones ( its called context clues) all you have to do is read in between the lines, neither Sakura or Karin gave birth to Sarada. The reason why there is no record of her birth, the reason why people are so hesitant on telling her parentage.

I can explain why in a long paragraph but to put it simple, Orochimaru had took DNA from both Sasuke and Karin, which made Sarada.
So Sasuke sleeping with Karin in his travels is out of pocket. Probably during his travels he went to one of Orochimaru’s old hideouts and found her and brought her back to Konoha so Sakura could raise her. I bet Karin doesn’t even know about Sarada!

Lets all be logical here. Sarada is probably an experiment created by Karin using Sasuke’s and her own DNA, like with Zetsu. Sasuke rescued the poor kid from Wacko-Mcgoo and had Sakura raise her in secret, because he didn’t want Karin or anyone else finding that there was another Uchiha out there to use against him. It is the only logical explanation, guys!
In all seriousness, we all know that the author is not above throwing weird plot twists like that around. I am pretty sure whatever it is, it is going to be an idea that isn’t apparently or something that springs to mind as being a logical possibility at first.

It seriously better be Sakura! I have been watching the show and reading manga for 8 years now and the only thing I definitely ever knew was that Sasuke and Sakura will be together! Even if this is a way to make it more dramatic it is actually hurtful for fans. If it is Karin it will destoy my whole image of Naruto and disappoint me on so many levels! Don’t destroy my childhood dream!!!!

there is no record for sarada’s birth in konoha because sakura and sasuke is having a lovey dovey time in jungle for a mission. duè to unexpected due date of delivery.mybe too early they ddnt make it to konoha. then sarada is deliverd in a jungle with only sasuke by sakura side. after few weeks, sasuke sent sakura and sarada to konoha then, he urgely back to unsettled mission. DNA on karin’s table is sakura’s because she just obsessed with sasuke and his life.she just trying to clone herself to be sakura then find sasuke in jungle as sakura. unfortunately orichimaru found out what she’s trying to do.dosen’t want to wasting money with that childish thing so he just transfer karin to other post.thats is the story. hehe you guys like it? :p

What the fuck is wrong with kishi?! I’m so pissed about this whole Sasuke-Karin-Sarada thing! He’s really messing with Sakura’s character to hell! Why not just kill Sakura right there and then! I’m an avid fan of SasuSaku and I can’t stomach this thing with Karin! I can’t imagine Sasuke being with Karin! I’m totally ditching this anime for real! I can’t stand how kishi make fun of Sakura’s character!

From the story development this far (ch 7), i have a guess that Sarada is not a true child of Sasuke, Sakura or Karin…. It’s a possibility that, just like Uchiha Shin, she was created from Uchiha clan’s and Uzumaki clan’s DNAs… After all, they’ve got the DNA samples they needed there….

Well I can tell you now that Karin is Sarada’s real mother. Sakura turns out to be Sarada’s stepmother. If you want to know more you can just look it up on the wikia it will tell you.

Some interesting things have been pointed out the possibility that
(1) Sarada is a clone of both Karin and Sasuke DNA combined they never were intimate (also called snake boy special)
(2) Karin is so crazy over Sasuke maybe she took his DNA or other sample while he was unconscious and got her self prego and had the kid where Sasuke came across her in a remote area while Karen was away.
(3) Sakura is just guy who loves no one, except Naruto and she did this for both their sakes (since she has never kissed Sasuke).
(4) The worse possible theory its a dream created by Orochimaru (can you say Dallas Bobby yuing) and the series is all fake.
(5) This is a fake out to confuse everyone (including the fans) and she is Sakura daughter (also no one mentioned this, BUT, what if Sakura’s parents were really not her parents and she was really of the uzumaki blood line)

Well, I’m not a SasuSaku fan, neither am I a SasuKarin fan. I like Sasuke, Sakura and Karin as individuals, but I’m indifferent with their pairings. ShikaTema is still my most favorite. So when people talk about this, I went to read Naruto Gaiden simply coz I was curious. And despite not much Shikadai–okay no just kidding–I still think Sarada is SasuSaku’s daughter. There is so much loop holes in the way Sarada trying to find out about her mother. There is nothing can be confirmed that she is anyone’s daughter and it contradicted a lot about each facts confirming that. The only proof so far relating towards Karin is the DNA which is highly debatable coz we didnt know who’s DNA is that. And no, we dont compare Karin to anyone’s normal coz she IS Orochimaru’s subordinates. She might keep her own DNA or anyone else’s coz we know exactly how distorted their research was.
But all in all on Karin’s side, that’s the only possibility which is actually just 50% chance. So as far as this moment, I still think the other evidence leads to Sakura. We will have to see more clues next.
And still, as usual, despite Sakura not being my most favorite kunoichi, I dont understand people are hating on her, and neither Karin. They are both, to me, great characters. They’re not my favorite, but they got my respect. Yes, they started off annoying. Sasuke kept saying Sakura was annoying during first episodes of Naruto but that is EXACTLY what makes them great. Ever heard of character development? Dont get your hatred gets in the way of your judgement. They’re not perfect, but they got their own character development.
In fact, even if Kishimoto makes them perfect, you’ll still hate on them. Sakura’s character is made to show how deep a love to someone can be after knowing his solitude. And she provided the overwhelming love for the loneliness and darkness inside Sasuke’s heart. Sakura had perfectly depicted that. Karin’s too… Their characters are not a failure. You just need to understand the characterization more.

Maybe Sasuke leave Sakura because of Karin,and Sakura never told Sasuke that she was pregnet.No one know that Sakura was pregnet, that’s way there is no birth certificant.And the DNA was probably Sasukes.What about thet theory?

It could be possible that there was a mission that Sasuke was doing for over a year, and Sakura could have stayed with him for more than a year as well, which gives the possibility that her pregnancy could have taken course without Naruto’s prior knowledge.

Ok so if sasuke killed karin then how did she give birth to sarada even though karin was dead? Becuse in the episode sasuke killed karin by pericing her chest and fell on the floor and its not like he got back to life did she idk please someone tell me the answer!

Karin is not the mother of Sarada, at the last page of the series Naruto Gaiden Karin says that she accompanied them and helped Sakura deliver the child. That doesnt mean that she gave birth to Sarada. Sarada did have a resemblance towards Karin and that was because at some point when Karin was in a team with Sasuke, he bit her arm to get blood. And that is why Sarada looks like Karin. And thats it i proved that she is the real daughter of Sakura.

In chapter 10 of gaiden, when karin and suigetsu were talking, I think suigetsu told her that sarade was her daughter. Then she replies with..”Thats impossible! I’m the one who delivered sarada!” she also said that sakura was chasing after sasuke..maybe after the war..then they travelled together..maybe sakura was already pregnant when sasuke left..Soo they were together when sakura gave birth to sarade..when karin said she delivered sarade..it means she was the one WHO HELPED sakura when she was giving birth. Search in dictionary. Since maybe karin and sakura became close friends during that time..karin kept the umbilical cord in memory of the daughter of her friend. Also she gave sakura her glasses also in memory of her. In that time..karin and sakura became really close friends. But sadly..sarade didnt met sasuke yet because he was travelling for a long time.

y uno de los capitulo Mitsuki le dijo a Sarada que sus padres no eran lo que parecían y no hay nada que me quite el pensamiento y yo estoy mas que segura que Sarada es la hija de Karin y Sasuke ellos estuvieron juntos por años y compartieron demasiado si miran bien Sasuke no tiene clase de sentimientos a ninguna chica y menos a sakura, pero lo que mas es que por que sasuke se alejo de sarada de Sakura no se supone que es lo mas importante para el entonces porque se alejo de ellas y me quedo con que es la hija de karin, ella siempre se preocupo por sasuke y mas en la cuarta guerra ninja, hay mas pruebas que dicen que sarada es la hija de karin que de sakura.
