Akira was one of the first awesome movies I watched, there is even news that Hollywood is making their own adaption. With such news, fans have created what they feel to the movie should be about. The Akira Project is a crow-sourced, non-profit project meant to create a live action fan trailer which they’ve done here. Keep on reading to watch the fantastic trailer. 

The folks at Akira Project wanted to take a shot at making their own adaption, for them to stick as close to the source material as possible. It all began between two guys over beer, however the project got the backing it needed and has become a really good trailer, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the actual trailer for the movie, it’s that good.
