Fairy Tail 366 is amazing as Natsu gets to his boiling point by which he and Franmalth begin to fight and at each point Natsu keeps on beating down him. Kyouka hears all the noise and thus has to leave Erza to see whats going on. Silver arrives to stop their fight so Franmalth can take the Former Chairman and leave them. Natsu smells something in Silver which makes him say “Gray…”. Silver quickly freezes Natsu and tells him not to say that name. This could mean any number of things, Silver could be Gray’s father, it could be Gray from the Future, or any other possibility.
Fairy Tail 366 begins as Natsu smashes and knocks out the Former Chairman, he shouts at Franmalth asking where Erza and Mira are. Franmalth mentions that he’s gone crazy and broke the bit in which he came in from. Kyouka hears all the noise, she calls out for Yakdoriga to look after Erza whilst she’s gone. She tells the frog-looking thing not to touch it as it would be a waste for him to touch it.
Natsu asks Franmalth once more when he says if he’s referring to the human captives and that he must also be a Fairy Tail. Happy mentions that they could also be there. Franmalth asks how he got there, it must been the Former Chairman who must be followed.
Natsu quickly approaches Franmalth with a fist to which Natsu tells him to shut up. Natsu gives him a good smack. We see Gray and Juvia going back to the HQ to get more addresses to check out. Juvia mentions that she has a bad feeling about this. Looking at what the enemy did to that town, he understand that this is also bad, Juvia mentions that it’s not that, it’s something different.
Gray holds Juvia’s hands and tells her that he is with her, nothing can go wrong. Gray mentions like always Fairy Tail will come out on top without fail. Franmalth gets up against and seems to have changed form, he mentions that the punch he gave will cost him a thousand souls!
His attack misses Natsu but it quickly begins to attack itself to Natsu’s back and it seems to have given Natsu a massive shock, his strength also begins to fade. Happy gets in and bites Franmalth’s arm and Natsu is let go. Happy is thrown when Natsu gets a lot angrier, her gets closer whilst Franmalth misses all his attacks.
Natsu holds Franmalth’s head and does his Fire Dragon’s Grip Strike which literally fries everything and anything in front of his hand. Franmalth gets back up and this time mentions that he’s raised his price to two thousand souls. Happy notices that Franmalth just took a straight hit from Natsu’s fire and is still standing.
We then see a man, Silver shows up telling Franmalth to leave it and take the Former Chairman back. Natsu notices that it’s gotten colder, Silver mentions that it was Natsu that brought back the Sun Village wasn’t it. Natsu notices that it was Silver that froze it correct. Silver mentions that he’s gratefully that he did this as what he did was by mistake.
Natsu quickly mentions that somehow he smells like someone he knows, Natsu realizes that he smells like Gray! At that point even Natsu wasn’t able to stop but Silver freezes Natsu! Silver mentions for him not to utter that filthy name! It seems that both the Fairies and the Demons are connected! Who is Silver really?! Fairy Tail 366
What a fantastic chapter, the story keeps on building more and more, plus on top of this who is Silver, and how he this man connected to Gray? Could he be Gray’s father? They certainly look-alike! Could he be Gray’s from the future? It’s truly possible, maybe like how Shadow came, Gray may have also come. Can’t wait for next week’s Fairy Tail 367, titled “Jellal vs Oracion Seis” when we see more of this as well as Jellal against Oracion Seis!

Ohhh I didn’t consider that!! Or like how Silver doesn’t want to remember his past because he let Juvia die or something of that line, ofc Silver coming from the future when the Dragon’s once attacked! Also could Silver be the Deliora in a human body and the fact that Gray had beat the Deliora, it took a human form which was an older Gray?

i read a persons theory that just like edolas, theres a counter part for the earthland people, so theres a counter part in the demon world too and silver is grays counter part

Oh that is really interesting, do they explain what other characters may be? It was always known that Gray would have to face Silver after the village thing and how he used the ice etc. At this point what I think it could be that Gray’s parents had died, Gray’s father was really powerful and thus Natsu was able to smell the smell of Gray on Silver. He was resurrected using the Book of Zeref and thus because of what had happened, he hates the name Gray.

Aren’t all of these demons from the book of zeref? Silver may be a little different as he has his demon form as well as his human form. Although he could have stolen this human form from someone else?

I hadn’t thought of these possibilities either. The first thing was future Gray and second was his Father. We don’t really know much about Gray’s family. The Demon land seems interesting although it doesn’t make sense for him to be older. His personality seems different to Grey’s though which makes me think a family member.

Yeah I guess, would you consider Silver coming from the other reality, the same one where Shadow and Future Lucy belong to? The characters which showed up in the Games Arc? And thus for Gray to gain power and protect Juvia from all the dragons etc he had to sacrifice himself to the book of zeref, in turn he mistakenly kills Juvia or someone else kills Juvia when he is not looking.
He saw an opportunity and took it when it came to changing the future and saving Juvia. Likely enough?

There’s no way that can happen because Gray’s Edolas counter-part has already been introduced during the Edolas story arc; remember Gray was fawning over Juvia while Juvia felt smothered by Gray (who wore way too much layers of clothing).

It is definitely and undoubtedly grays father. He:
1) looks like him
2) same Mage power, infact, it is linked as was shown when gray was able to transmit the ice threw him.
The explanation I’m going with is that grays parents were attacked and they both “died”, however, during the demons attack, his father did not die, but was near death, his mother did die though. The demons, thought of him as a powerful force, hence, took him in and brainwashed him and what not. Now, what makes me most assured is the fact that silver was visiting a grave, his wife’s grave!!! Grays mother!
What I don’t have an explanation for, is the hatred.

How would both of them using ice magic mean he’s Gray’s father? Gray learned Ice Creation magic from Ur, a woman who just found him. Did you think every Celestial Wiz that came out so far and all the Dragon Slayers introduced are all related too just because they use the same magic?

Well the stripping was kind of a learned trait from Ur… Lyon wasn’t part of Gray’s family and he does it too so I wouldn’t expect his Father to have Grays stripping thing less he learned it from Ur. But we really don’t know what will happen next here, its such a mystery! You guy’s theories will have me up all night

Honestly, when I read the last part of this chapter, all that was going through my mind was ‘Could Silver be Gray’s father?’. They have the same ability of ice magic and their appearance is similar. My sister and I were thinking that Silver might have accidentally knocked up some random chick or had like a human lover or whatever and then found out about his (Gray’s) existence later on. Maybe he wasn’t expecting that news which is why he hates hearing Gray’s name.
But the theory of it being a possible counterpart of Gray or even Gray from the future is also very interesting. We’ve seen a future Rogue and how he turned out because something happened to Frosh, so if it were a future Gray then maybe something happened that made him want to forget about his past.
My friends and I have been spewing out our own thoughts about this. I will admit that it would be pretty interesting if Gray is a half-human, half demon.
Sorry for my rambling on and on about this, just putting my two cents in but I have I feeling I put in too much.

Nah, the future Gray theory fails cause silver doesnt have gray’s scar above the one eye.
Father also seems most logical to me..

well personally i agree it cant be future gray cause see grays scar above his eye isnt that big when u look at silver his scar is gigantic.but still i could be wrong i just hope its not future gray cause i’d get mindblown …….also sorta upset 😦

That’s the whole point of FUTURE Gray…. They may have stopped the dragons attack but Rogue stated that the future is Acnologia’s world. A lot can happen and just because Silver’s scar is bigger than Gray’s doesn’t prove anything… If future Natsu showed himself with Happy but future Natsu is missing an arm, your mentality would pretty much say it can’t be Natsu because present Natsu has both his arms.

What i can say is its a plausible explanation but yeah still wondering how gray and silver are connected.Also if you kinda think about it maybe gray is a demon slayer no ones ever thought that up.
Guess i’m the first to pick that up or msecond someone else could’ve picked that lol O.O
