Sword Art Online has received some great news as the long-awaited continuation series, Sword Art Online II, will launch in 2014! The news was confirmed during the Sword Art Online: Extra Edition New Year’s Special. The video advert below suggests that Reki Kawahara’s original novel will continue from Sword Art Online and Alfheim Online to Gun Gale Online!

The continuation gives a new arc with the name of “Phantom Bullet”.  In short, Gun Gale Online is a MMORPG based on fighting using guns and equipment such as these. As seen in the video, the new arc will definitely feature some new and awesome characters such as Sinon voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro.
