Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail and Rave Master, gives a little something to his fans on his Twitter account. Earlier he had posted a pretty funny manga strip to his fans, specifically this strip was in English rather than Japanese. In Fairy Tail Chapter 363, we saw Erza and Mirajane ride a reindeer looking animal which Hiro Mashima has already created an alternative, more Christmas, strip as seen below.
Mr Mashima also tweet this image of Happy as a pretty cool elf to celebrate to upcoming Christmas holiday as well as the release of volume 41, a similar fan art was posted here.

Lol agreed, Gray is awesome but he can’t resist stripping lol. The other work Mashima created is also pretty cool especially Makarov in a bunny outfit lol.

any idea as to when the new series comes out it is like only 4 days away from 2014 i hope it isn’t too much longer. starting to get the case of withdrawal…lol

Lol, all I can say at this point is that it’s most likely to be in 2014. Could be anywhere from the start to the end. I’ve heard that it could be in spring which again could be false information.
