Naruto 657 see’s the awesome Madara Uchiha turn into an awesome powerhouse to which he currently has no other match to go against him. Sasuke, Sai and Naruto all try to get him back to which Sasuke is told that he’s only living on borrowed time to which he’s time will also come. Hashirama seems to have lost all hope to everything he has against Madara and seems to have trouble even touching him at this point. Madara has really grown powerful to which even any Tailed beast would have trouble going against. Obito is also going to die at this point, however Black Zetsu is keeping him alive until Madara has a better use for him, like using his eyes for a better purpose. Sasuke and Naruto have no idea what to do at this point.
Naruto 657 begins as Madara’s eyes begin to crack and disappear to which it seems that he’s going to have to get some real ones. Sasuke releases his Amaterasu which doesn’t seem to be affecting Madara as he mentions that something of such strength and caliber will not do much effect on him. He won’t even acknowledge it. Hashirama notices that he may have just absorbed that ninjutsu.
Naruto asks why he’s closing his eye for, to which Sasuke is told that it’s useless to attack with random techniques. Hashirama has a bad feeling about this. Madara mentions that for the universe to function properly, two opposing forces must be able to coexist, to which he then asks Hashirama if he remembers what he told him about the Uchiha Shrine.
When opposing forces find harmony, only then can true bliss be found. It could have also been interpreted as the man who learns to wield both the powers of the Uchiha and Senju shall come to know ecstasy, to which Madara seems to have settled on this idea. Hashirama mentions after leaving the village he studied some really bad stuff. To which Madara mentions that it was done by someone else.
Madara bites himself and blood flows, to which Hashirama is flabbergasted. He had every intention on being resurrected. Madara does a sign to which he speeds up really quickly and gets an attack on Sai and Naruto and holds Hashirama’s neck. Madara mentions that what has happened is according to plan. The face on Madara begins to show the signs similar to Hashirama.
He notices Senjutsu and mentions the level of power is disappointing and thus mentions that he was worried about manipulating it. Sasuke approaches him from behind and uses his sword and mentions that they won’t get a better chance than this to which he mentions that he’s planning on sending Madara to hell. Sasuke then mentions that he’s going to make him regret abandoning his Edo Tensei form.
Sasuke hits Madara’s arm cutting through his right arm however Madara holds the sword. Madara mentions that he can sense his Mangekyou Sharingan, to be Choku Tomeo (Literally meaning Straight Swirl). He see’s why he’s movements are so fluid, and thus he’s eyes will suffice until he gets his Rinnegan back.
Kakashi asks Obito what has just happened, to which Obito mentions that Madara has come back to life. Black Zetsu mentions that he’s fulfilled his purpose, and now that he’s used the Rinne Tensei, he should have no use and thus his duties are now complete, he’ll also be taking his left eye. Minato and Kakashi both try to get Zetsu but he molds to Obito.
He mentions that he’ll be able to keep Obito alive, Obito asks who he is. He answers by mentioning that he’s Madara’s will and mentions that he’s there only to take out people in Madara’s way. Zetsu mentions that they look at Madara too lightly as well as him. We go to the past when Zetsu had received orders from Madara to get close to Obito.
Zetsu mentions that he’s been utterly useless to them, doing anything he wants, however now he’s use to them. Madara tells Sasuke that he would be a waste to kill, why doesn’t he just team up with him, since they are the last Uchiha. He tells him that he’s barking up the wrong tree, the only thing he wants is his head. Madara mentions that he’s on borrowed time anyway. He uses his Hidden Ashes and Dust to which it pushed everyone around him back.
Hashirama mentions that Madara managed to regain his full power and thus won’t end well especially since his going right towards his next target. Madara begins to absorb the chakra Naruto gave out to everyone to which he heals his arm. From then he looks towards the Tailed beasts and mentions that he’s going to hunt them down. Naruto 657 ends here.
What an awesome chapter, Madara is going full on when it comes to attacking others. Even without his eyes he’s able to defeat such powerful people like Hashirama. At this point of time it seems that Hashirama is clearly disappointing me. I can’t believe he’s not even doing a thing against Madara. Should be awesome to see what the Tailed Beasts do about Madara coming for them during the next Naruto 658 chapter.

ok… now Hashirama and the other revived Hokage are useless. Now, as usual, it’s up to Naruto to use his talk-no-jutsu. Booooooriiiing!
If this continues, I might as well stop reading the damn thing. There’s no way someone like Naruto is supposed to be capable of defeating somebody like Madara.
I’m going to hate Kishi till he shows Hashirama kick some ass. I personally won’t accept that Madara is stronger… not now, not ever!
Oh, and I hope Madara rips out Naruto’s tongue so that he can’t use that pathetic talk no jutsu.

LMAO! This ‘Talk no Jutsu’ is really catching on. I don’t think even Naruto can talk Madara out of it. This should just be an all out awesome fight. That’s what I want to see… Action! Awesome Ninja Action!
This chapter was better than the one’s that we’ve had to witness these past few weeks. I was planning on doing Naruto Chapter reviews but at the moment, it’s so drab, I don’t even see the point. This arc was meant to be excellence like the One Piece Marineford arc but this has failed pretty bad so far. I hate to say it.

I somehow think that the Only a Uchiha can kill an Uchiha thing will be a part in this. Madara mentioned it himself that Sasuke time will come soon, hopefully it’s not how Madara is thinking. But infact something that will destroy him, hopefully Obito/Orochimaru during his training has thought him something that can stop him.
I think there is a chunk of tension yet to come, however I don’t like how Kishimoto is doing it in stages, if he did it all at once, it would certainly blow me away. Having Obito and Madara’s attacks at once would have been awesome. Nevertheless It’s not at it’s peak to say the least.

Remember when Madara mentioned that the only one that is capable of coming up to him is Hashirama and the Sage of Six Paths. What if Naruto is also going to be the next Sage of Six Paths, and this time the Beasts will enter Naruto on their own will and give him their true power to help Naruto. To which then Naruto will be able to defeat Madara and kill him. I hate the talking to, there’s been a lot of it during these intense chapter which only ruins the action.

Happy to see madara kicking their butts, did they think madara and obito were the same? Lol. Talking of the sage of the six paths, naruto getting the 9 bijuus would be good for him but compared to sasuke, naruto just uses other peoples power, sasuke is about to awaken the rinnegan there with any bijuu, while naruto has kurama but still no rinnegan for him, he still needs the rest bijuu’s chakra to become one, of all the chakra he has gotten from all the bijuus he still can’t awaken it, but sasuke is already close to that, he got all the chakra he has by training unlike naruto, a genius is a genius till the day he dies. Seeing madara holding hashirama like that was kinda great for the madara fans lol, if you hate madara, better start loving him.

And yes this is true, when Sasuke did something during the moment Naruto and the others were pulling the Tailed Beasts, I think something was done that could still be reflected back to this. I want to find out exactly what he did. Madara is awesome, you can’t go wrong with what he does. He had planned all of this, and he has no eyes at this point and is still owning everyone.

Seriously madara is a devil…this quy should should be in the top 5 villains…so the qod of shinobi is useless…i refuse 2 believe that madara is stronger than hashirama…buh the current chapter says somethinq different…and madara talked abt someone doinq a research 4 him…i wonder who daht could be….as madara stands now…i think he’ll qive the so6p a run 4 his money..naruto needs qod damn power hype to take this man down….sayinq sasuke has a borrowed time..does he mean that sasuke is qonna die or what???

Madara is probably the top villain in Naruto. The fact that Madara is flesh and has Hashirama’s powers and jutsu’s makes him unstoppable. The research he’s talking about is how Madara obtained Hashirama’s powers/face on his chest. This research person would be Kabuto, thats why he said acquaintance. Only Sage of Six Path can compare to him, I like how Madara isn’t using any huge techniques but smaller ones which are on ground level and not massive things. I think Madara meant that Sasuke as a Uchiha is part of Madara and that he’s the master and that Sasuke being his soldier who can die when Madara commands.

Well not that he’s mortal he’s able to perform techniques which require a blood, like he cut himself. Furthermore, he’s able to recover at a much faster rate than the Edo Tensei paper type way.
We saw him use Hashiramas justu while against the Kages and Naruto, at that point he was able to use Hashiramas tech I’ve but not able to detect how much of it or how to activate his Sennin mode, now he’s able to do so. Furthermore Kabuto may have placed a restriction to the amount of power he could eventually use, however now he can use all of it, however he doesn’t have his eyes so won’t be able to use any eye techniques.

Its just a matter of time before he qets his eyes back…as it stands now…nobody in that battle field can stand madara…the renine tensei should av been on all the edo tensei’s present so as to balance thinqs….I can remember sometime last year when we arqued if naruto was a reincanation of the so6p…in my opinion i think he is…this is were he qets to use the rikudou’s power…because only that power can stop madara now…and he needs the yin chakra of kurama cause minato is not doinq anythinq with…

okay, let me just one thing straight here: hashirama still kicked madara’s ass (both in their edo tensei form) even though madara had rinnegan and part of the fourth inside him. hashirama was still able to seal his movements. it was only when he was able to revive when he got the upper hand. his conquest for power using underhanded tactics is pretty unfair when people say he’s stronger than hashirama now. 😐

The reason why Madara got the upper hand was because Madara put some of those rods on Hashirama’s back. Those rods have Madara’s will so anyone that has the rods on their body, he can immobilize or control them. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have gotten a hold of Hashirama in the first place.

Everyone is really over thinking this at the Valley of the End Madara had to have the nine tails on top of his own abilities to face Hashirama on even ground. When fighting the Kage he even stated after gaining wood release and the rinnegan that the only person not named the so6p that could beat him was Hashirama. Sasuke isn’t getting the rinnegan because the only way to awaken the rinnegan is to have the mangekyou sharingan along with sengu dna I.e how Madara obtained it. And for the record sasuke has had just as many power-ups over the story as naruto from cursed seal to the eternal mangekyou sharingan and you could basically say that in the end the ems and nine tails chakra essentially offset each other for naruto and sasuke’s progression. Me personally I would have liked to see a more bad-ass Hashirama and Minato I kind of feel like they’re being undersold a bit and Madara’s own power is being overexaggerated.

I finally found a story format of Naruto chapter.. I just started with episode last year than completed all episodes.. Than chapter was only way to be with the flow..
I enjoy chapters more but i wanted proper story format..

Why does everyone hate on madara? U are all haters. at the valley of the end,after they were both basically drained, hashirama only beat madara due to his little wood clone trick. And madara had no sharingan. Hashirama the great hasirama, “the god of shinobi” only won by a cheap shot. And for the record, hashirama may be strong, but if alive madara and him were to fight as he is in chapter 659 now, hashirama “the God of shinobi” would lose. Sorry. He may have been able to just barley beat madara before. But he can’t take both madara and himself alone.
