Ichigo vs Goku, who would win? This is possibly a universal questions which span between anime’s and their characters. Some say its Ichigo while the others state that Goku is the likely winner. Although there is one clear winner, I’ll let you decide who you think would win between these two incredibly powerful guys.
Ichigo’s Incredibly Powerful Final Getsuga Tenshou Form is incredible. It was developed by Ichigo during his training with Isshin within where Isshin could slow down time. Ichigo showed Aizen his Final Getsuga Tenshou form, Aizen wasn’t able to detect any spiritual energy from Ichigo, but was then surprised by Ichigo’s brute force. After Ichigo reveals the meaning of Final Getsuga Tenshou, which is becoming The Getsuga Tenshou itself. In this form Ichigo’s appearance changes drastically. His hair turns black and its length grows. He is wrapped in black bandages covering his torso, face and his right arm. He wears a tattered black robe remnant covering his lower body. He permeates with black reiatsu, mostly around his right arm. The black reiatsu also looks like a sword which he can use to attack. When Ichigo used this Final Getsuga Tenshou form, he had lost his powers due to the fact that he used it to almost kill Aizen. Ichigo had certainly become unbelievably strong! Ichigo’s most powerful weapon, Mugetsu, is generated by the black reiatsu. It’s appearance brings forth complete darkness covering the sky and the surrounding area.
Goku’s most powerful Super Saiyan 4 form was incredibly powerful that it certainly deserves to go up against Ichigo’s Final Getsuga Tenshou. Goku obtained Super Saiyan 4 form during his fight with Baby (Bebi). Goku’s power and speed had dramatically increased to such a high level. For example, while Super Saiyan 3 Goku was nearly unable to phase Baby, however when Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan 4, it become clear that Goku had become unstoppable as Bebi was now unable to even hurt Goku. Goku is also able to store an immense and increasing amounts of power. In this form, Goku’s hair changed color to turning from Gold to turning Black. The tail is present and the body and tail are covered in a shade of red fur. Goku had possessed a red shadow trim around the eyes and ever the eyelids. The aura in this form loses the arcs of electricity, instead becoming pure fire with gleaming sparkles.

Hello people, did you guys not notice that ichigo is a HUMAN/QUINCY/SOUL REAPER so technically he’s just a powered up human who’s soul is emitting abnormal amounts of spirit pressure and only trained for a year or 2 while goku is a saiyan warrior who has trained for most of his life to get stronger
Let me point out some facts
-ichigos reihatsu is ever growing but sadly he can’t control it to his advantage
-goku has an almost unlimited supply of his power but he takes a long time to charge it up (eg spirit bomb)
-ichigo has only died once in bleach but had hichigo/shirozaki(hollow ichigo) to bring him back
-goku died sevral times during the entire series and relied on other people to find the dragon balls to bring him back
-ichigo relies almost purely on instinct and doesn’t have a battle plan
-goku is almost the same as ichigo when it comes to battle plan
-ichigo has a cycle of wins, power ups and losses (its win-win-lose-power up-draw-get beaten to brink of death but gets healed by orohime/zangetsu etc… That’s based on the arrancar arc)
-goku has a somewhat different cycle that includes dying(its win-win-win-die-power up-revive-power up- win-win-die) goku doesn’t lose because he usually ends up dying
-ichigo is a half blood
-goku is a true saiyan
-ichigo is 15
-goku is old but looks like he’s 30
-Goku has a lot of advantages thanks to he’s true blood and his countless years of training(not to mention the hyperbolic time chamber)
-ichigo has a few advantages because he’s a half blood and has barely trained to use zangetsu to its full potential
-goku has some moves based on deception(solar flare and teleport)
-ichigo only has flash step as a move of deception
Now when you compare these facts goku is the obvious winner because he’s a warrior and has training but when you think about it, if ichigo was able to use his soul reaper powers and could control all of he’s abilities and forms from a young age and was the same age as goku then wouldn’t he be the winner

You’re getting off topic, what is being compared here is what the characters did in the shows and manga, if you are comparing what they could be then it is impossible as Goku has proved time and time again that he has no limitations. He strives to continue to push past them, not because he has to but because it is something near and dear to him that he enjoys doing, however when the world is in trouble, he’s more than happy to help. He’s not trying to become a super hero, he’s merely doing what is right, something that something admirable. Ichigo trains because he’s a Soul Reaper to protect souls and put them to peaceful rest, as well as to fight against dangerous, lost souls that could not rest, called Hollows. The main difference is that one is a duty that does not call upon greater strength, this means eventually Ichigo’s quest for strength will eventually be sated. Goku on the other hand will never be satisfied, he will continue training, until he becomes something entirely else, someone so powerful that others will not be able to conceive his strength. I mean look at him, right now Goku has achieved the power of a Super Saiyan God, making him able to hold his own against the God of Destruction Bills, along with the Saiyans ability to age slower than other beings, he could live to be 100 years old and still be physically young. With GT, Goku becomes the Guardian of the Universe…which means he no longer ages and would be able to train for an eternity, no matter how long Ichigo trains, Goku will have a distinct advantage.
-Goku has died twice by the way, both were self-sacrifices and the Dragonballs only revived him once, Old Kai, who’s name literally means Old God (a God) gave HIS OWN life to bring back Goku.
-His “almost unlimited power supply” does not take long to charge up, the Spirit Bomb isn’t his own energy.
-Goku’s battle plan is to find an opponents weakness and target it, since their stats have been measured it’s safe to assume Goku holds an advantage in nearly every aspect. He is the greatest martial artist and is in fact a fighting genius.
If you believe an alternate timeline Ichigo where he trained the same age as Goku would beat the orange clad Saiyan then that only proves Ichigo where he stands now loses without a doubt.

As previously Isshin clears that getsuga tenso is the only attact which can cut anything… and now we are talking about Ichigo final getsuga tenso’s mugetsu…
Mugetsu strick is that much powerful that it can stop any Espada regeneration and can separate hokugku from aizen….
..And never forget about that goku has no regeneration abilities…

And one more thing DBZ & gt are unbalanced anime… for ex When fighting with cell in ssj2 form goku explains that he cannot use kamehameha to cell when he’s standing on the ground cause it will explode the entire earth…
but when goku ssj4 was fighting with super android 17 he used kamehameha with full strength and it hit mountains like pillars and destroyed 5-6 of them but it doesn’t destroyed whole earth it only destroyed only part of mountains that’s all…
So how you all can say goku can destroy whole galaxy….

To everyone saying that there is no canon evidence of goku universe busting you would be correct. The question I ask is why the fuck would goku destroy a universe?
Anyway I only need to provide one scene that is completely canon (not that gt crap) where during the buu saga ssj3 goku blasts a hole in the supreme Kai planet, and by hole I don’t mean crater. I mean this blast goes from the outer crust to the centre of the planet and out the opposite sides outer crust. Whilst I’m only about halfway through bleach to getting up to date the best I’ve seen so far is craters and crust splitting, and by what I’ve read so far the best in bleach atm is mountain levelling and breaking the chains of hell. Since I have no idea how hard the chains of hell would be I’m going to assume its on par with mountain levelling. So basically if we assume for an instant that according to seen accomplishments gokus best is blowing a clear hole through a planet and ichigos best is levelling mountains then you’re basically comparing goku ssj3 as a nuke to ichigo as a Gatling gun(maybe a missile launcher?).
We’re assuming that goku can see Ichigo since its believed goku can sense any kind of spiritual power (androids were not spiritual since they were machines) and that he can withstand ichigos immense spiritual pressure since goku trains at 100x gravity at base form.
Gokus around 40ish during the buu saga and while that would mean he’s on a decline physically to a human vegeta explains that saiyan a retain their youth for much longer than a human so they may continue to fight. Which means when he meets uub I’m guessing he’s around 50 since I’m pretty sure goten is 17 there, he would have the body of a 30-35 year old which would mean he would pretty much still be in his prime. Giving him a lifetime (around 40-45 years) of fighting experience compared to ichigos very few years in which he has progressed incredibly, but the fact remains goku has more experience, better technique, a better physical condition (ichigos body is still maturing) and in my opinion is much better looking.
Having said all that its pretty obvious who I think will win, however it’d be pretty cool if goku trained Ichigo for a few years 😛 sorry if there’s any spelling errors or hard to understand sentences it’s 2am here lol and if you make a reply keep in mind that I’m still watching/reading bleach so tell me events vaguely and without plot spoilers please

If i recall correctly Ichigo is a Death God (shinigami) he is deathless only unless being killed by a Hollow, arrancar, soul reaper ,fullbringer , quincy and a human with hollow powers which i technically a hollow :).
BTWs If you follow the manga Ichigo is a Fucking Dual Blade Wielder which means if Goku needs both hand just to catch one of Ichigo’s Zanpaktou then ichigo could use the other zanpaktou to slice and dice him.
Moving on Ichigo killed Kagezuro (i think thats his name i could have spelled it wrong) which infact is a time and space manipulator.
So that conclude’s my conclusion. If you wanna compare Ichigo with Goku Then Ichigo would Overkill Goku.

As I recall Goku has the ability to transform and keep the latent energy of a Super Saiyan God. This means that only a God will be able to do any sort of damage or even sense him, Ichigo is a shinigami which is a death God but I don’t think he’d be up to par with Goku. As for Goku needing to catch Ichigo’s blade the point is moot as he is easily faster even without Instant Transmission at his disposal.
Goku manipulated reality by transforming which in itself is an impressive feat when fighting. Goku has fought opponents that can phase in and out of reality, opponents with incredible regeneration, opponents that could destroy whole cities with the flick of their fingers, the list goes on and on. If we gave Goku his Power Pole, a magic staff that has the ability to increase its length to fill the whole universe, there would be no competition.
Vegeta has trained at 450x gravity, meaning that Goku is at least on par with the Saiyan prince since they are virtually equal in every aspect. As for not being able to see Ichigo, it really depends where the battle would take place, as in the Dragonball universe every living being has ki energy and can be sensed. In Bleach it seems only other Shinigami can sense others, of course excluding Hollows and the like but there are gifted humans that can sense them. Who’s to say Goku is not an example of a gifted individual? The guy can sense individual beings throughout the entire population of earth, sense demons, aliens and even the Kai’s. Now with his God powers he can even sense the Gods.
Ki has been shown to be amplified in certain area’s of an individuals body, an example is when Trunks attacked Frieza with his blade and cut the tyrant into pieces. Frieza was able to withstand some of Goku’s best hits which at the time was causing planet Namek to shake and collapse at the very impact. The same sword that had been used on Frieza was easily blocked by Goku, whom used one finger whilst in his Super Saiyan 1 form.
See if Goku’s durability was that great in his SSJ form, imagine it in his SSJ 4 form.
Maybe Goku can’t see Ichigo but that doesn’t really give an advantage if Ichigo can’t hurt his opponent in the first place. There has been nothing to show that Ichigo would be able to cause any significant damage to bother the Saiyan at all. At point blank range Goku was able to take ki blasts from Broly which were shown to destroy planets (in the movie if we’re able to use that.)
Goku flew to the other side of Namek during the Frieza Saga in one second (Manga, not the anime where they were forced to drag it out waiting on episodes) and used Instant Transmission to travel to the opposite end of the galaxy.
He’s destroyed a room of nothingness, which doesn’t make sense at all but he’s strong enough to do so, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber which is a room that in itself is a dimension which goes on for an eternity. His Kamehameha in Dragonball GT ripped a hole in reality, WHILE HE WAS IN BASE KID FORM.
Sorry but Ichigo really couldn’t do a damn thing to the Saiyan. Goku would probably spar him for fun, and maybe have to transform to a Super Saiyan but that’s it.

By the end of Dragon Ball Z, the increase of power is just so huge that we can’t measure it ! And in the beginning of DBGT, Base Goku is STRONGER than Kid Buu (see the comparaison with Majin Buu and Rildo).
Now, we’ve got SSJ4… Let’s try to put it simple :
if DBGT Kid Goku = Adult SSJ3 Goku
then in DBGT :
SSJ KID GOKU is 50 times stronger than SSJ3 Goku in DBZ.
SSJ2 KID GOKU is 100 times stronger than SSJ3 Goku in DBZ.
SSJ3 KID GOKU is 400 times stronger than SSJ3 Goku in DBZ.
SSJ4 must but at least 800 times stronger than SSJ3 Goku in DBZ.
I don’t know how Ichigo could beat that…
Some would say that with his sword, Ichigo could cut Goku…
Well, first, Ichigo should be able to touch Goku…
Second, look at how Trunks attacked Goku with his sword… in vain…
but Trunks was able to cut Freezer like butter, and Freezer was able to survive the explosion of a planet.
The more stronger you are in DBZ, the more durable you are… So, due to the difference in raw power between this two, Ichigo couldn’t harm Goku…
Don’t get me wrong, Ichigo is really strong, but Goku, especially in SSJ4, is too much for Ichigo… and this one don’t have the techniques or power to kill or harm him… in my opinion…

I’m a bleach fanboy who had an opportunity to watch all bleach anime, including naruto, fairytail, bayblade, pokomen, knights of the zodiac and also watched all dragon ball z, Dragon ball z kai, dragon ball gt anime and all its movies from 1 to 13 and the recent 1 called saiyan god. I also watched all the above anime movies. bt of all these anime and their warriors I have never seen anyone powerful enough to bring freeza on his knees except for goku. take ichigo and pair him up with freeza and tell me wat u think will happen. do u remember the energy blast which was made by aizen, during his final form? that blast manage to burn ichigo’s hand badly. and such blast are child’s plane to freeza. he creates 10x powerful blast such as the one made by aizen with the tip of his finger. if u remember how planet vegeta was destroyed, then u no wat I’m talking about, bt with all those powers, freeza couldn’t destroy goku in ssj 1 form. comparing ssj4 with fgt is simply stupid in term of power. I dnt no why ppl turn to be bias is simply things like this. I love ichigo way more than goku by I’m not blind also. You clearly haven’t watched Dragonball let alone Dragonball Z. In Dragonball Master Roshi’s Kamehameha wave was strong enough to blow up the moon. In Dragonball Z Goku’s was enough to counter Vegeta’s Galick Gun which could have destroyed Earth. Cell even states his Kamehameha was strong enough to wipe out the solar system.

Goku is incredibly fast even without Instant Transmission.

*Side Note: This is base form Goku at the Frieza saga, he isn’t even a Super Saiyan yet. If you want to put him at SSJ 4, multiply this feat times 4000.
He flies across Namek in a single second, a planet that is as big as Earth if not just slightly bigger.
Goku’s agility is superb, he was dodging hits from opponents so quickly it looked as if he were standing still and they were punching through him. They were unable to see him move!

Here is the nail in the coffin about Instant Transmission needing concentration or time. Goku can use it in an instant against opponents faster than him! He needs no time at all to use it against Ichigo.

Goku uses strategy plenty of times, he takes notice on how an opponent fights, where they are strongest and what their vulnerabilities are. You have only been slandering Goku and making it seem like he is an idiot whilst showing no proof of Ichigos ability.

Mugetsu might work if Ichigo could land it, which is highly unlikely. Goku has instantaneous movement and Instant Transmission, and we have seen Goku tank incredibly strong attacks before, even in dragonball not dbz. Just because Aizen was immortal does not mean his durability was high, He was taking Ichigo’s basic strikes and being damaged. Goku was caught in an explosion that leveled an entire island during the 23 Tenkaichi Budokai, Piccolo destroyed the arena and after the explosion, Goku was still left standing, smiling no doubt.

SSJ2 multiplies SSJ1 power by 2
SSJ3 multiplies SSJ2 power by 4
SSJ4 multiplies SSJ3 power by 10
so super sayian 4 is 4000 times stronger than Goku’s base form

IMHO, Goku win.
In Bleach manga (Idon’t watch the anime), blowing a mountain or a city up is an incredible feat, and no one is near destroying a planet.
Well, in Dragon Ball, we know that a simple power level of 18.000 (Vegeta on Earth, Saiyan saga) could annhilate a planet.
If we go to the Freezer saga, we have a Goku who is 120.000.000, and it’s only an untrained first level Super Saiyan.
How can possibly a “poor” city destroyer be even compared to the Super Saiyan of the Freezer Saga, let alone the fourth level or the God level?

You people can not be serious. Ichigo is not, never has been, and most likely never will be on Goku’s level. Look, I like ichigo as a character, but its the simple truth that bleach pales in power compared to dbz. Piccolo literally blew up the moon at the beginning of the series with a casual blast. That SINGLE feat alone was shown to be greater than any destructive feat in bleach. And the meanwhile, raditz comes in out of nowhere and wrecks piccolo and goku at the once while barely trying (Goku was slightly stronger than piccolo as well). Its also a pretty well known fact that dbz speed> bleach speed as shown when goku flew halfway across namek in less than a second (again, better than any bleach speed feat) which means that goku will literally be dancing in circles around ichigo during the fight. Next, DBZ chars are much physically stronger than bleach chars (punching and kicking people through multiple islands and mountains early on in the series) which means goku with his superior speed as well can quite handily kick the living shit out of Ichigo with little effort. And finally “GOKU WOULD BE CUT IN HALF FROM A ZANPAKUTO.” False wrong no just nope. Okay so to start with THIS, lets look at Frieza, a very powerful character when introduced who later became shit level quality in terms of power after only a short time (remind you he was a casual large planet buster in base). After being cut in half, blasted by goku, completely drained of his energy, and faced a POINT BLANK PLANET EXPLOSION, he still survived. Once again, that feat>>>>>>>>>>>>>any durability feat shown in bleach. Look guys I actually like bleach as a series, and I am actually currently watching it, but in terms of overall abilities and stats for characters: DBZ >>>>(^100) Bleach.
If we really wanted to compare Ichigo with goku, then it would have to be 23rd Budokai Goku at the end of the original dragonball since him and current ichigo are ACTUALLY NEAR EACH OTHER in terms of power. So there ya have it. Im sorry but some of the posts in this thread gave me cancer. But it was all in good spirit and I see where people are coming from, so GG guys.

I dont see why that would make a difference. Dbz characters at the beginning of the series already eclipsed bleach characters in most stats. Besides, Ichigo’s fighting style shouldnt really matter here, since goku is a master a several martial arts, where ichigo is basically a swordsman (Which i said in my last post wouldnt be able to scratch goku.

If I may point one thing out that has been overlooked by everyone and everything. I’m not a fanboy of Bleach or anything of the sort, the show has too many plot holes and fillers, the story gets convoluted and is just plain bad after season 1. Looking at the facts though there is one thing that let’s Ichigo win… Goku cannot hurt him. Ichigo is a Shinigami and in the show they explain that a Shinigami cannot be hurt by anything other then a Zanpakuto or a Hollow. Goku does not have a Zanpakuto nor is he a Hollow. Also Goku would not even be able to see Ichigo (people of the mortal world cannot see Shinigami unless they have a strong spiritual pressure, which does not exist in the DBZ universe). It was also shown that Shinigami and Hollows can interact and even injure people who are still alive, as seen when Orihime was struck by a hollow (aka her brother). So all in all Ichigo may not have the raw power of Goku but he does have the means to fight him.

If this is the only defence you have for Ichigo, I can tell it’s one of desperation. In DBZ Goku can see spirits, he has fought tons of demons and even dead, in the DBZ verse everything gives off ki energy which he can sense. So if you’re using the logic in Bleach, I think it’s fair to use the logic from the DBZ universe as well. In terms of how Hollows/Shinigami hurt people I don’t know, but nothing Ichigo has would seem to be able to actually hurt Goku. Reason being that he has a ki aura which acts like a shield constantly among him, cloaking him from heavy hits. So why not make this a fight between SSJ4 Goku in the afterlife, there he could fight Ichigo in the Otherworld tournament where the souls of great warriors fight.
Since Goku is a spirit there, it’s pretty much no problem for him to injure Ichigo without the Shinigami claiming he can’t be harmed by mortals.

although i like them both goku will win all of his physical and mental capabilities are greater than that of ichigo’s and even if they were to make a fight between them they would make them be able to sense and see each other plus mugetsu ichigo would still not be able to defeat goku because if you recall ssj3 goku multiply goku capabilites by so many folds that i lost track and literally shook the whole universe when he fought against janemba and all also ichigo while he may be strong even with having two zangetsu and being aware of his origins there is still no possible way for him t beat goku unless he somehow becomes a god and inherits all of the former soul king power and if you still don’t believe this watch back both animes learn the facts like i did then come back and speak to me otherwise i don;t want to hear it because everybody knows i’m right and you’ll be wrong

I just want to say one thing. The only reason ichigo doset blow up a soler system is he cant go to outer space. Also his attacks would destroy earth as well. Thats why he wouldnt do it.

Ichigo would easily win without mugetsu because Ichigo could pull goku to hell and use his final getsuga with vasto lorde and the power of the hell guards which are all greatly enhanced thanks to the surroundings and hell decreases all of gokus powers because he is pure of heart.

That is very true, however from what I can tell, Ichigo is a Shinigami, while Goku is human, or part human at least. And depending on Goku’s presence and if he can even sense Shinigami’s then maybe he can fight Ichigo. On top of which Ichigo’s Getsuga is mountain shattering and something that can be fired with no wait time at all, like the usual Goku moves which takes episodes to power up.

And? Goku has fought and hurt astral beings with his ki attacks before and he has easily sensed them with his power sensing ability. Mountain shattering? Mountain level attacks were already failing to hurt Saiyan saga Goku (early level) so why would they even tickle him now? Goku only needs one ki blast or punch to take down Ichigo now. Powering up isn’t even necessary.

The thing many of you don’t get about Goku destroying solar systems is, he won’t blow the world up. He’s a good guy, he’s not gonna blow everything up because of Ichigo. Goku may be powerful, but if Ichigo were to cut off Goku’s tail, he’d fall a lot of the power levels. Ichigo is fast enough to do so if given the chance. Super saiyan or not, Ichigo’s sword is quite a blade.

The comments seem quite one sided here, and I do admit that Goku has more raw power than Ichigo, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that Goku can beat Ichigo so easily. Sure, Goku has destroyed planets and have fought on par with 70% Beerus who can wipe out solar systems with ease but we’re talking about Super Saiyan Four Goku which I say is weaker than Super Saiyan God. But let’s look at Ichigo’s stats. Currently, Ichigo’s full power isn’t revealed yet, but it’s obvious that once Ichigo gets his new bankai, he’ll become stronger. Let’s first look at Ichigo’s defense. His first defense is the clothing that he wore after the training with the Royal Guard. This clothing was able to withstand 72 barriers that prevented anyone from going to Soul King Palace. The barriers that was broken by the clothing is probably quite powerful, because if they weren’t, couldn’t have Yhwach just simply break them? Second, Ichigo also has Blut Vene which was strong enough to stop Yhwach’s blade. And in case if you don’t know who Yhwach is, then I’ll just say that he beat a man who uses fire that is hotter than the surface of the sun with ease (Yamamoto). Looking at this information, then it’s not a stretch to say that Ichigo will be able to survive couple of attacks from Goku. As Ichigo uses his stronger forms, then it’s likely that he’ll be able to survive Goku’s stronger forms. Now his attacks. In his Saigo no Getsuga Tensho form, Ichigo easily destroyed small plateaus with only his sword swings. In Goku’s Super Saiyan Four form, he was a bit stronger (I think, can’t remember) than Nova Shenron, who uses attacks that’s hotter than surface of the Sun. That means that both characters are stronger than Nova or Yamamoto since their attacks are quite similar. Speed is hard to calculate but I admit that Goku has Instant Transmission, which is basically teleportation. But I doubt that even with his Instant Transmission, he can dodge Mugetsu. Why can’t he dodge it? Because Mugetsu is faster than you think. Aizen also had the ability to teleport (look it up) but couldn’t dodge Mugetsu, probably because it moves at so fast that he couldn’t see it coming. The same thing could happen to Goku and a Destructo Disk doesn’t even compare to Mugetsu. So, right now I’ll say that Ichigo would beat Goku in his Super Saiyan Four form, but does that mean Bleach is better than Dragon Ball Z. No! This fight isn’t about which anime is better. I enjoy Dragon Ball Z as much as I enjoy Bleach. And even though Ichigo beats him in his Super Saiyan Four form, I doubt he’ll be able to fight on par with Super Saiyan God Goku, much less Super Saiyan Blue. This is just what I thought, and you can point out my mistakes and disagree. Just make sure to bring evidence.

I think ichigo could win if he were trained to use all of his abilities together meaning if uryu I trained him to use his Quincy powers to his fullest and learned all of the hodos ichigo would stand the best fighting chance to win it would be a very close fight but in the end I don’t think goku would win. Just to kind of enter a dead thread here, I just have my own 2 cents here lol. I would just like to add the Shinigami, and anything from the soul society, for that matter, are far beyond anything the physical realm of matter could ever produce. We have crossed over into the supernatural, which supersedes any form of tangible, physical, powers. That being said, Mugetsu is not just a power, it is complete, utter darkness. Darkness has no sense of radius, it is not contained, so teleportation is moot. A spirit ( in planes beyond the physical realm, which is the ending point for all life) has powers (in level) that an alien (physical entity) could not even conceive of. There is simply no comparison. For example, Hercules was the child of a god, extremely powerful, probably the most powerful man in the galaxy, but does that mean he could defeat Hades? Never! Same here, shinigami are literally gods, reapers! To believe you can kill a reaper is preposterous! even touching Ichigo in his spirit form would kill Goku! And I’ll leave it there for now lol.
